“I was in the area and decided to stop in for a sub. My bf has been coming here for years and swears by this deli as one of the best around.This mom and pop deli is not much to look at from the outside.They have free parking out front with several spots they share with another business.Once inside you can see why they call this place The Parsippany Deli/ Emerald Gifts aka The Irish Deli.As soon as you walk in the front door, they have a glass counter that displays beautiful China from Ireland. They sell teas, marmalade, sausages, bacon, black and white pudding, Irish candies, also Brennan's bread.During the month of March they make and sell homemade Irish Soda Bread.As you make your way to the front counter you will meet owner Eddie, and Avril. They were both very friendly and told me about their business. Posted on the counter is their sandwich and salad menus.The Parsippany deli/Emerald gifts has been in business for 50 years, now I know why. Their prices are reasonable, and everything is homemade. They also do catering.They roast all their own meats like Roast Beef, Turkey Breast, and Baked Virginia Ham. I highly suggest getting a half of a sub. It’s as big as most whole subs.This place doesn’t skimp on their meats, just the opposite.When I got home and opened up my sub I was pleasantly surprised, and couldn’t believe how much meat was on it. It was probably one of the best Italian subs I’ve ever had and I’ve been all over for subs.I ordered their Italian Sub - Ham, Salami, Capocollo they call it Hot Ham, and Cheese. I got mine with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, mayo, oil and vinegar. It was really delicious. I wound up eating a half of a half and saved the rest for later.My bf ordered their Roast Beef n American Cheese Sub. The Roast Beef was cooked perfectly rare and piled on the sandwich with lettuce, tomato, oil and vinegar. He enjoyed it so much he ate the entire thing.I also ordered 2 of their homemade salads. Macaroni and Potato Salad. The macaroni was my favorite. It was rich and creamy.I highly recommend this place, you won’t be disappointed

“We made a reservation for 14 people here to celebrate our engagement with family and the experience was incredible!

I reached out to the restaurant in advance to make the reservation and the staff was incredibly helpful answering questions and making sure that the reservation was correct. I then was able to follow up and pre-order appetizers for our group and the staff at Agricola made great recommendations that everyone loved.

Our dining experience was incredible and with amazing service from Marco everyone was thoroughly impressed! The food and drinks were phenomenal which added to the experience!

Additionally Agricola made the night very special writing a card for my Fiancée and I and presenting us with a congratulatory dessert!! I would highly recommend Agricola to anyone and especially for special occasions or celebrations!!“

“I was excited to get warm with soup after Pompton Lakes’ Holiday Stroll. I got the Hot Lemongrass Beef Pho. This is hands down the best pho I’ve had since leaving California. Boiling Pho is legit!! The noodles were chewy and not soggy. The beef brisket was so tender. The sliced beef was fresh. The broth was immaculate on a cold night and super flavorful. Nothing beats a good bowl of pho. She not only scolded us but continued to talk crap and point us out to the other employees. We love the beer and the place but can’t understand why this happened when half the other tables were empty at the point she made a big fuss about it. Definitely not a chill brewery like we’re used to.“

However, this restaurant’s buffalo chicken pizza is absolutely fantastic — generously topped, perfectly balanced in flavor, and consistently high in quality every time I order it. Their other pizzas are also above average, but I specifically come here for this one.
