“I was in the area and decided to stop in for a sub. My bf has been coming here for years and swears by this deli as one of the best around.This mom and pop deli is not much to look at from the outside.They have free parking out front with several spots they share with another business.Once inside you can see why they call this place The Parsippany Deli/ Emerald Gifts aka The Irish Deli.As soon as you walk in the front door, they have a glass counter that displays beautiful China from Ireland. They sell teas, marmalade, sausages, bacon, black and white pudding, Irish candies, also Brennan's bread.During the month of March they make and sell homemade Irish Soda Bread.As you make your way to the front counter you will meet owner Eddie, and Avril. They were both very friendly and told me about their business. Posted on the counter is their sandwich and salad menus.The Parsippany deli/Emerald gifts has been in business for 50 years, now I know why. Their prices are reasonable, and everything is homemade. They also do catering.They roast all their own meats like Roast Beef, Turkey Breast, and Baked Virginia Ham. I highly suggest getting a half of a sub. It’s as big as most whole subs.This place doesn’t skimp on their meats, just the opposite.When I got home and opened up my sub I was pleasantly surprised, and couldn’t believe how much meat was on it. It was probably one of the best Italian subs I’ve ever had and I’ve been all over for subs.I ordered their Italian Sub - Ham, Salami, Capocollo they call it Hot Ham, and Cheese. I got mine with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, mayo, oil and vinegar. It was really delicious. I wound up eating a half of a half and saved the rest for later.My bf ordered their Roast Beef n American Cheese Sub. The Roast Beef was cooked perfectly rare and piled on the sandwich with lettuce, tomato, oil and vinegar. He enjoyed it so much he ate the entire thing.I also ordered 2 of their homemade salads. Macaroni and Potato Salad. The macaroni was my favorite. It was rich and creamy.I highly recommend this place, you won’t be disappointed

Parking: They share the spaces with another business. It doesn’t seem to be a problem to park“

“I’ve been going to this place for about 2 years now (I box at a gym nearby hence why I go so often). I come here about two to four times a week. The food is pretty cheap especially for its quality. I usually get the Yuca empanadas, beef empanadas, or chicken empanadas. Dessert wise I usually get the Tiramisu or brownies. I can say without a doubt it is one of the best places I’ve ever ate at. The workers are very friendly. Most of the workers know both Spanish and English too which is very helpful. There are plenty of places to sit and eat and it has a very welcoming atmosphere. They’re always playing music (at the perfect volume never to loud never to quiet). The food always comes out quick too.

Dietary restrictions: I know both the beef empanadas and chicken empanadas (and I’m pretty sure the Yucas) are all gluten free which has come in handy when I catered for a party once.“

“We had such a great experience celebrating at Agricola. The staff really paid special attention to our special day. Most impressive, our server Milana. Halfway though a dirty martini, Milana brought over a fresh frosted glass to ensure the rest of the drink was chilled and delicious. What a professional and thoughtful move. I received a complimentary lunch box from David so I could see the presentation and try the food that I purchased for the local heroes. I was completely blown away! They were prompt, professional and the local heroes LOVED the FOOD and SERVICE! My box was amazing! I received a breaded chicken cutlet sandwich with condiments. “PROS:- This place makes their bases (which they have numerous kinds of) right in front of you. It's not premade like Frutta Bowls or Playa Bowls. So you can customize it completely.- The portions are HUGE especially compared to Frutta Bowls. I much rather have more of the base (which is difficult to make at home) than the slices of fruit on top (which is easy to do at home).- Krystina and Shanel made our bowls and were so warm and patient -- explaining all of their options and even giving us free samples of their sugar free peanut butter which they grind right in front of you (this was the topping we chose -- highly recommend).- They even have a BOGO on Wednesdays if you use the app. You can bet we will be there again this week for it.CONS:- Acai bowls in general are not cheap. But I've made many acai bowls myself at home, and those 100% acai packets from Trader Joe's are a pain to open and work with. So, to me, the cost is well worth the hassle from making the base at home.We've found our new acai bowl spot in Livingston. Thank you for being here Rush Bowls =)“

“My husband and I stumbled upon this place while looking for a place to eat that had an outdoor area( so glad we did) Once there ,we reviewed the menu , I explained to our waiter Cody that I am a pescatarian. He immediately recommended a few dishes that were not on the menu. I decided to go with one of his recommendation, the blackened shrimp tacos. They were delicious!! Dakota was not only friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, but also incredibly mindful of our time. He ensured our service was prompt and timed perfectly. Drinks, appetizers, entrees—everything came out perfectly timed and piping hot. His attention to detail and professionalism really made all the difference.
The food was phenomenal. The burger was out of this world! It was juicy and tasted so fresh I highly recommend. Also, the drinks were pristine.

I never knew this place existed til driving home I seen this place.. so much closer.. well I got so many compliments. They said it was delicious. I missed out. It was all gone..it was the pan of fries, rice and whole chicken. We did have other food but next time 2-3 trays. Thank you“

“We were in the area and stopped for a late lunch at the Park Wood Diner. I felt like a burger and ordered the blue burger supreme. Was not impressed as the burger was well done and not by order of medium. The burger itself was not seasoned so a bit disappointing. Decided to have dessert and ordered a slice of plain cheesecake and it was delicious. I would recommend it highly. My wife ordered the chocolate cream pie which was also delicious.“
