“The pupusas are delicious. Well made, soft with a lot of flavor and plenty of filling and not burnt. Order of lorroco and revolts. The Salvadoran tamale is also very good, quite meaty and not dry. What did lack flavor were the beans and rice that came as an accompaniment to the onion steak. The steak itself was very well cooked, the vegetables fresh; but he lacked rice and beans. Medium tasteless, I had to put Goya marinade on both of them so they tasted to my liking. Nothing too difficult to adjust so I'm going to continue ordering from here but no one likes having to add seasoning to food from outside to give it flavor. Just my advice. Maybe someone else likes beans and rice simpler. In total, well-made and delicious food. Thank you!“
“Food is delicious. Prices are so good. The only problem is. No delivery and if you want something to be delivered to you. You will have to pay a taxi sevice that they have and is going to charge you and extra $8 dollars. Just for delivery and is a very complicated process, because you have to call the taxi first then call the reataurant then call the taxi again or txt him your order so he could pick your order up. But if you are willing to do so. The food is excellent!!!!“

“Such a great mom and pop restuarant that has both delicious Salvadorian and Mexican food. Went here with friends and we each tried a mix of their pupusas, they took a bit to come out but they were clearly made fresh and well worth the wait. We also had their tacos and guacamole, so flavorful and filling. Our server was attentive and very kind. Great reasonable prices for the high quality. Limited indoor seating but can take it to go. Will definitely be returning“

“Super delicious mouthwatering food, they take their time to cook it so call ahead to save time, food is truly authentic, service is very good. I am a native Salvadoran so don’t be fooled by the bad reviews from others, I’m a regular customer here because the service and quality of the food are one of the best, the owner makes sure she makes your food to the best quality standards in the food industry sanitation and food poising control certification is required for all cooks per owner’s policy. The atmosphere and Interior of the building are distracting making you doubt about what you are getting to eat. But the dishes are made like if your grandmother cooked it. Prices are very low in comparison to others.“

“Walked to this restaurant/bar twice from my hotel while on business from the Midwest. I don’t speak Spanish, yet all the patrons and staff do! Everyone was super friendly, and I thoroughly enjoyed being immersed in music, people and food heavily influenced by the Caribbean & Central America. Prices were reasonable, food was great, but the friendly/happy vibe was the best part. I’ll be back…“

“The best pupusas in the area are not greasy, the tanning is the best and the attention is super good. My granddaughter was delighted with the balliadas and they are not made by catracha hands. I go one day a week from Queens NY and the price is super comfortable.“

“Any time I come to jersey, I make sure to stop by and indulge in some of the best Salvadorian cuisines. If you like Latin food then you'll love it here. My favorite is the Carne Asada. Never have I come across such tender and well marinated steak. I was literally able to cut it with a butter knife! The portions are large and the prices are low. As far as seating goes, well its a bit snug. But its always worth the visit. My family and I always leave with a full belly and a smile on our face. <3“

“More customers need to know about this restaurant! If you're in the mood for pupusas or a wide variety of Salvadorian dishes, this is your spot. It's off the main avenue (Bergenline) so it can be difficult to find if you're just passing by the neighborhood, but this is worth the visit. Pupusas were DELICIOUS, the service was very friendly and accommodating, seating is comfortable and the menu is authentic. I'll be making this restaurant a regular visit, for sure.“

“We had 4 Frijoles y queso Pupusa & 3 Reverta y queso Pupusa which were absolutely delicious with the cortido. We also had the 2 tamales de pollo which was stuffed with chick peas, green peas, corn
Potatos and plenty of chicken. Absolutely out of this world. So nice to see Authentic El Salvadoran food. My wife is Salvadorena so when I bought her here she felt like she was home. Small, quaint nicely decorated maybe 8 tables restaurant. Great service with a smile. $24 for everything. Make sure you leave a nice tip. 10 ? ⭐ ? ? ?“

“I had an amazing experience at this authentic Costa Rican restaurant! The service was excellent, and the main dishes were delicious, especially the famous "Gallo Pinto" (I'm addicted). I highly recommend trying their Tacos Ticos or their Casado. They also have great drink options, including traditional coffee and natural juices.“

“Great Guatemalan pupusas! I love the loroco one (a type of squash) which it is not always easy to find. Soups are perfectly made. Definitively a taste of home for many of us Central Americans. The "atmosphere" is not set up for you to stay long, but if you are ordering as much as I did, then it takes long to eat and drink it all. A "must" when I take my car to be serviced at Lynnes Subaru across the street.
Vegetarian options: Make sure to mention that you are avoiding all types of "carne" if you are strict vegetarian (sin pollo, sin res, sin cerdo).“
