“Girls night out was made spectacular by the owner and staff of Cafe Azzurro! The atmosphere is cozy, and busy but didn't feel overcrowded, indoor and outdoor seating available, the staff is extremely friendly and attentive. The owner was present greeting patrons and ensuring all needs were cared for. The food!!!! Oh my, the food was absolutely delicious! The menu had a selection for everyone. We did not feel rushed in the slightest, which seems to be a common problem, especially for a couple ladies trying to catch up. Highly recommend.“

“Coming here for years. Some food items have gone down in quality, namely the pork chop and mac and cheese. Pork chop used to be really cooked to perfection and moist, however lately it has been dried out and overcooked. Mac and cheese lost the amount of cheese it usually has on it, and noodles were undercooked the previous two times. Must have changed the cooks in kitchen, who knows.“

The bartender (older white woman, working the Sunday lunch shift) seemed completely disengaged – no interest in recommendations or craft, and the $15 “custom” cocktails felt like an afterthought. Cheap ingredients and absolutely no effort in presentation or taste. For a place with such high-quality food, it was disappointing to watch someone lazily throw together drinks that tasted like they came from a bargain bin mixer.

If the bar matched the effort coming out of the kitchen, this place would be an easy five stars. Until then, come for dinner – just skip the cocktails.“

From the outside it's not much to look at but from the inside, it truly feels like the best of fine dining - with Thai food! Is it truly authentic Thai food? It's as close as I believe I will ever get in Northern New Jersey and that's something to consider. I am sure if I asked for the real thing, they can easily deliver! Food was delivered to the table very quickly during a late Saturday afternoon lunch and they still had nearly half the tables filled. I can only imagine dinner time! Adrian took all of our orders including appetizers without writing anything down. The food was delivered to perfection. I am astounded by the diversity of the menu, the ability to switch out sides, the quality and taste of the food. The chefs are talented and cook to delight every palate. They have a variety of hot & cold, fresh, made to order options that are light and bursting with flavor. Menu is very well priced and I appreciate the ability to make your own, as well as picked from some of the chef curated options. Also appreciate the cups of water available.
