“The first time I visited here was about 2 years ago. Incredible BBQ and Pickles. The Management and Staff are incredible, the BBQ, delicious. I lived in Kansas City (BBQ Capitol of the World), and in Florida for years. This restaurant would still be great anywhere because they have mastered not only a great product, but the staff and management have also mastered incredible Customers Service. It's been rated the best BBQ in NJ for several years. I would argue one of the best BBQ restaurants in the USA.“

“Coming here for years. Some food items have gone down in quality, namely the pork chop and mac and cheese. Pork chop used to be really cooked to perfection and moist, however lately it has been dried out and overcooked. Mac and cheese lost the amount of cheese it usually has on it, and noodles were undercooked the previous two times. Must have changed the cooks in kitchen, who knows.“

“Moved to the neighbourhood a couple of weeks back and were looking for a nice place to eat... we found Girasole within walking distance and it exceeded our expectations. The staff were attentive yet not overebearing and the food was delicious. “daFilippo's is a hidden gem of a restaurant that has been my family's special occasion standard for many year's. The Northern Italian menu which changes to focus on only the freshest ingredients has a little Swiss influence and is presented with an artistic touch and personal care. Last evening I hosted sixteen business associates in the back room which has an iron gate for privacy. Filippo presented a five course meal which blew everyone away followed by him playing a few songs on the Piano. The Chicken or Cod dishes were pan seared to perfection. daFilippo's is a BYOB restaurant which I Love. My wife remarked how clean the restrooms are kept. Plenty of parking in the rear of the building. In closing, if you are looking for a family owned, unique restaurant where the owner chef touches every plate to ensure perfection then this is the place to make a reservation.“
