40 Best Chicken Wings near Penns Grove

“New to the area, tried out Pat's. We were not disappointed! The food was great and the portions were huge. We will definitely be going back!“

“I just had an absolutely wonderful meal at a tiny Thai restaurant across from the VA Hospital at 1700 Kirkwood Highway, called Wings and Thai Station. They are open from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm Tuesday through Friday, and from 12:00 to 9:00 on Saturday and Sunday. They are closed on Monday. They have a small eat in capacity (I would guess 40 seats) but they do take reservations. Mostly they are takeout or catering. For a party of over 70 people they will send their food truck and cook anything on the menu for your guests. They are very inexpensive. I had 8 large crunchy shrimp over a delicious small salad with the most amazing sauce, ($22.) and I brought 3 shrimp home. We had a wonderful appetizer that they made for us, that was 2 rolled cylinders and 2 little dumplings with a sauce that was amazing. Maybe you would enjoy this little jewel.“

“The roasted wings do not disappoint! I ordered 50 wings and they were out super hot within 15 minutes! I ordered the mild buffalo, king poa, sweet chili bbq, and the buffalo parm and this prego lady is super happy! This will be my #1 craving for a minute 😂😂“

“First and foremost the service is very good. The workers are very kind and will correctly put your order in to your liking. I often come here with my boyfriend. We both love the fries, he usually gets the burger combo. Every time he gets a burger they do it right he doesn't like anything on his Burger some cheese so they always put in his order correctly. We went there today and the food was absolutely delicious. We always sit and enjoy our food inside the building. Today the mac and cheese was so damn good. Also I always love the rice as well I usually get a number 23 and that's the whiting with rice, very delicious and fresh today. Highly recommend this place and location.“

“Great customer service and FOOD!“

“I Was in town for a Private Event, it was held at Keem's, Christian was manager that evening. My husband and I had a wonderful time, EVERYTHING was amazing, we have been talking about the food all the way back to Virginia! Thank you to the Entire Staff for all your efforts! If we are in the area we will surely be back!“

“OMG 1st time today Got 5 breast n 4 keels Best Chicken I ever had n I’m 58 years old I’ll be back Super Friendly also 5 stars“

“Perfect place for comfort food lovers—so many tasty options all in one spread!
The wings were saucy and flavorful, fries crispy, and everything looked super satisfying.
Great spot to share with friends and enjoy a fun, indulgent meal together.“

“We’ve stopped a couple of times and the the place is great. Food is good quality and the people are super nice. My girlfriend loves the Bubba and we will definitely keep coming back.“

“Fast very nice customer service. Food was delicious n I will recommend. I also will be back“

“delicious food 😋 affordable price“

“TLDR super awesome food, great service, it's worth it, pick them.

Stopped in for some good south jersey South Philly area pizza place food. In town for work. Got a nice assortment of a cheese steak (fried onions, American, hot peps), 6 hot wings, and three pieces of pizzer. One plain, one Hawaiian (shut it!) and one chicken bacon ranch. Well from the moment I walked in the dude in charge was attentive, focused on quick but friendly service, and at the same time working and taking care of other customers. I like the fast pace of the northeast and this was perfect for me. Came back picked it all up and brought back to hotel. Pizza was great all of them, super tasty and nice NY style size. The cheese steak was so good too. Lots of meat and the cheese was nice and cooked in. The wings were perfectly done and nice amount of sauce. Overall I really really like this place and will be back. Don't come here and get chicken tenders it's an Italian food place get pizza, get cheese steaks, etc. Definitely 9.7/10 and you won't be disappointed.“

“Good food here, but boy do they hassle you just to pick up a simple order. The last thing you want when hangry and short on time is to waste 5-10 here trying to persuade the person behind the counter that your visible email confirmation sent by DoorDash is enough. They need to work on realizing that people can make to-go orders without having DoorDash accounts..“

“The man who worked there was incredibly nice, gave me free samples while I waited and was obviously incredibly proud of what he does. He also was interested in me and what I did and where I was from.

The food itself is incredibly seasoned, very fresh, and some of the crispiest food I’ve ever eaten. It’s like eating homemade food it’s incredibly goo. I also really like that its prices are incredibly affordable.

Would recommend to everyone. The crown sauce is good!“

“Best food and fresh, and a very good price definitely recommend, best cheesesteak I ever ate it’s the only place I like my cheesesteak fries are great and the customer service is great. definitely recommend never have gone wrong with this place“

“Great spot!!! Bartenders are awesome, great food & good drinks!!“

“4/2/26 the gentleman that was there was very kind and patient, I am not sure how to spell his name but it started with a H. The food was hot taste as amazing chicken was crisp pizza amazing!! Fresh I usually don’t eat the crust but I did. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience“

“one of our favorite places to stop...we moved to Philadelphia proper but still find this one of the best pizzas around“

“Great neighborhood spot! The chicken was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly, and the prices are very affordable for the quality and portion size. I'll definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious meal without breaking the bank“

“First time ordering, they missed the order up a little bit I got whole wings I wanted sauced, they came dry, I own wing sauce no big deal, didn’t send celery witch was annoying cause I ordered two buffalo dishes, then I bit into the wings and everything was good again, they were probably the best delivery wings I’ve ever eaten in my life, I just poured franks on it because they forgot the sauce and enjoyed a very crispy outside and very tender juicy inside, I’ll still go 8 outta 10, would have been 9.5 outta ten if they didn’t mess up the order, I called During a very busy time, 0 outta 10 cause they charge a four dollar delivery charge and don’t tell you so I tip good and ended up tipping the driver 9 on a 24 dollar check to drive two blocks, but I know for next time, it’s hard to get good delivery wings, these were them,“

“The chicken parm is good and the peanut butter cookies are FABULOUS!!“

“This is the best chicken around. Great deals all the time. The girl cashier "Jackie is so pleasant and helpful. The manager is a really nice guy.“

“the food was okay i had oxtail alfredo, 7/10 it was the right amount of spice in the oxtail was pretty good but the Alfredo the sauce was very watery. I wish it was thicker that would would’ve made everything a 10 out of 10 it was seasoned very well, but I think that if they might’ve used heavy whipping cream for their sauce or not made it as watery it would’ve been very good“

“Our shift ordered breakfast for six from tagos & the food was phenomenal. Hard hats off to the chef & entire team!“

“Only making this review because of how respectful the staff is and how quick they are. If you live in Brookhaven you know that the Wendy's and McDonald's and especially the kfc are all super rude and take forever to get anything out. I don't even usually go to Popeyes but now I'm gonna start. I was so impressed with it that I asked the employees name. Hopefully Im not butchering this but Umar was dope! You never get that kind of service other than at chic fil a in Brookhaven. The rest of the fast food places are a plague and as a door dasher I can confirm I wait for 15 mins plus when there is no one else in the store at all the other places. Hopefully this location keeps the consistency I've had the last two times because it was fantastic.“

“I patronize Seasons at least twice weekly. The $10.99 special represents exceptional value. The service consistently exceeds expectations. Kim typically attends to our table, providing a personalized and welcoming experience. Her service consistently ensures a pleasant visit.“

“Fresh off a doubleheader sweep at the nearby sports complex, our baseball team was riding high—but after two games, we were also starving. Enter Turano’s Pizza & Grill, who came through in the clutch like a grand slam in extra innings!

We called in our order between games—30+ pizzas—for pick-up as soon as the last out was made. When we arrived just after 9 PM, every pie was hot, fresh, and ready to go. That’s Hall of Fame-level service!

The food was amazing, but the atmosphere? Next level. Between the friendly staff, the generous hospitality, and the live music drifting through the air, it felt like we had stepped right into the heart of Italy. We honestly wish we could’ve stayed and soaked it all in—but the bus was calling, and so were the leftovers.

Turano’s didn’t just feed a team—they blessed us. It was a beautiful reminder of what it looks like to serve others with joy (Galatians 5:13). From start to finish, they hit it out of the park.

We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town—win or lose (but hopefully win).“

“Good service and cheesesteak was yummy too.“

“I ordered 8 pcs boneless because I was wearing a nice shirt. The chicken cut the roof of my mouth. I'm not angry about it, that chicken was crispy, hot, and delicious. Will definitely be going back. Chili fries were not hitting though.“

“Ordered delivery through the Seasons app. Tracked order. Got a call from DoorDaah that my address was wrong. Driver was rude. Got a message order delayed another 40 minutes. Called the store. Reordered and picked up. Staff could not have been nicer despite it not being their fault. Food was fresh and delicious and Thoth gave a gift card for my trouble. Frustrating experience completely turned around my store team.“

“The Fried Chicken (duh!) Walt's Chicken is legitimately incredible fried chicken. The Lincoln Street location, Walt's Chicken Express, run by apprentice-turned-master Larry Fletcher, transcended even the original Walt's Flavor Crisp Chicken. After spending a decade learning from the original founder, Harry Sheppard, Larry opened his own Walt's on the West Side of Wilmington. And he took everything that made Walt's legendary, added his own Master Chef expertise, and elevated the chicken to an even higher plane of existence. You will NOT leave Walt's without already craving more of their fried chicken. It's THAT good. If you've had legitimately amazing fried chicken in Texas or Georgia, and can't tolerate the greasy rubber you always get served in the Northeast, take a sigh of a relief . Walt's is the ONLY chicken shop within 200 miles of Delaware that is legitimately *on par* with the best fried chicken joints in Texas or Georgia Get the fried chicken. White or Dark. Breast or wing; thigh or leg. All of the above. (Just remember to bring back 2-3 pieces for each other person in your home. Even if they "weren't hungry" when you left, they'll be furious you didn't pick them up a 3 piece dinner box) Lastly, don't expect anything special from anything else they serve. Sides, fries, fried shrimp, dessert, whatever else. They range from "decently good" to "mediocre at best." You're not there for cornbread.“

“I LOVE this place! The staff is so kind and the food is ALWAYS so GOOD!! See the picture of the Honey Biscuits below! They smother the biscuits in honey butter! The fried chicken, chicken tenders and fried fish are my favorites and I get beans and rice as well as the potato wedges, I've never had a bad meal from here! Everything is always fresh and hot!“

“I just had to take a moment to recognize Miranda, the cashier at Paris Pizza. From the moment I walked in, she greeted me so warmly and genuinely that she immediately put a smile on my face. Her beautiful personality, positive energy, and kindness truly made my day. It’s not every day that you come across someone in customer service who makes you feel so welcomed and appreciated. Miranda wasn’t just polite because it was part of her job you could genuinely feel the warmth in the way she spoke and interacted with me. She has such a bright, uplifting spirit, and that kind of energy can completely change someone’s day without them even realizing it. The food may bring people into a restaurant, but employees like Miranda are what make people want to come back. She is a wonderful representation of great customer service and deserves to be recognized for the experience she creates for customer's.Thank you, Miranda, for being such a beautiful light today. You truly made my day, and I hope Paris Pizza knows what a wonderful person they have representing their business! ❤“

“We had an extra large cheese pizza with fresh mushrooms. It was absolutely delicious. Best pizza. It was on special for 1299. You can’t beat that Price.!!! We also had a cheesesteak wrap without sauce so we could eat and drive. It was very easy to eat and it was delicious.“

“I've been ordering from here for a while now. We always get their pizza, wraps, amd cinnabites mainly and have tried other things as well. Their food is always delicious and fresh. Delivery or pickup is quick and their staff is always friendly and professional. I'll try to update woth pictures next time I order. I am surprised at their rating on here because it doesn't reflect their good food.“
