“I first discoverd Down North Pizza during Halloween Nights at Eastern State Penitentiary, and have been hooked ever since! The pizza is tasty with every bite, with perfectly crispy ends and great flavor! Rock the Mic is my favorite and has beef pepperoni!!! Not many pizza establishments offer beef pepperoni. The pizza may appear small at first glance, but it's definitely enough for two people and worth every penny. The cook was very friendly.“

“I have been wanting to try this place for a while and when I remember they are either closed or sold out (I’m late to everything lol) Well we finally ordered today. My husband had the plain steak (he’s so boring🤣🤣) I had the Broadstreet and my son had the BG55. OMG, everything was delicious!! And the rolls were filled! No skimping on the meat here! Oh and my husband said the workers were very friendly! We will definitely be ordering from here again!“

I only ate French fries at my first visit having brunched earlier in Manayunk and they also were just as delicious. The Taphouse bacon burger was divine. I loved the hot honey chicken and my preteen got the mild. He is not a coleslaw guy, but even he it was the perfect combo. “This is one of my favorite quick or fast food places to eat despite the occasionally solicitation of the poor and homeless in the area.
The operators are always patient and tolerant.
My favorite is the fish being pescatarian now and the fries are great too.
The bathroom although tidy, well supplied and not stinking, is dingy in there which I sometime correlate to the food but so far, so good.
This will remain my favorite spot to go and get fried fish and the cost is not that bad either.“
