The pickup window is very convenient if you’re in a hurry. Also, Morgan is the best barista and all around a great human being! My husband and I drive 30 minutes every weekend to get here and it’s worth it!“

“If there were more stars, I'd give them. We are from out of state (formerly from Waldwick) and needed to send a brunch catering to a dear family. Bagel Supreme was professional, sweet, considerate and kind. I called on a Sunday afternoon at 1 PM (about an hour before the store closed) and the owner had his wife call "within the hour." She did and spent time with me on the phone getting the right order to fit my request for the family. Then sent multiple texts to confirm everything throughout the evening. Talk about going ABOVE AND BEYOND! They delivered PROMPTLY as promised the next day and they sent us pictures of the platters to ensure that we saw what was delivered. Greeting cards to mark the occasion with our thoughts HAND WRITTEN were attached. The store would NOT take money until the order was delivered even though I offered to pay in advance. I will absolutely use them in the future for long distance gift giving (who doesn't like food as a gift)? And this will be our very first stop when we are back in town. 1,000% recommend!!!“

Should have posted this a couple of weeks ago to let everyone know what an absolutely beautiful job they did with the delicious Woodland Creatures 1/2 sheet cake for my daughter’s baby shower! Wow! It was so moist and tasty, received so many compliments from the ladies. And you know we ladies love our cakes! The decorator created an over-the-top adorable woodland creatures design. Even the gluten free cupcakes were tasty and gorgeous. Kudos to the entire staff and owner. Everyone was so helpful and lovely. Would highly recommend this bakery when you want the best! “Love this spot, especially their specials. Today I had the HOT Cosmo and Wanda, pistachio, rose, ginger..it’s without argument the best combo I’ve ever had (and I drink a lot of coffee/espresso). The cherry on top is their friendly barista(s). Today, Mario & Sami (Sami made my delicious drink), shared some laughs and stories and I felt like they really cared. Perfect start to my day.“

“Cozy local spot! Finally stopped by Cafe 179 after always catching it closed after work. The place is charming with great pastries (loved the sfogliatelle) and a really good pistachio latte. I mentioned the hours to one of the staff—possibly the owner—and she said they’ll be extending them soon, which is great news. Definitely my kind of place, and one of the reasons I enjoy living in a small town.“

“My wife and I were shopping in Montclair and stopped for breakfast at the Bluestone Coffee Company. Bluestone is a coffee cafe and coffee roaster serving breakfast and lunch items. The atmosphere is cozy and warm and their coffee robust. We selected breakfast options of a veggie omelette with cheddar cheese and the zucchini parmesan frittata. Both came with a choice of toast and roasted potatoes. Both were fresh and savory and the potatoes roasted perfectly. Staff was friendly and prices were moderate and fair. Bluestone is a very good choice for breakfast and lunch.“

“The cappuccino and the espresso were delicious. Expresso came with a chocolate biscotti and we got a small brownie. The coffee was Brew King, the barista mentioned his friends from Brooklyns coffee. The Barista was very friendly, very welcome as we walked in. Happy to hear they were serving expressos till later at night, we stopped at another local coffee shop that stopped serving expressos at 5pm on a Saturday. The lady at the pos machine was also friendly with a warm invitation.“

“Best ice cream shop in Essex County if not the entire state of NJ. You can taste the difference in quality, creaminess, ingredients, no artificial flavors. Small micro batches made with natural ingredients and real flavors. Great owner and staff. Very nice people who go above and beyond to help create a wonderful experience. Small space but the flavor is large. They are getting ready to launch their second storefront in Lyndhurst. Go check them out. You won’t be disappointed. Favorite flavors include: Strawberry Baklava Chocolate But all are incredibly good!“

“I took a one-on-one ceramics class with Seren today, and he was a phenomenal teacher. He was incredibly patient and explained every step clearly and thoroughly. He made me feel comfortable from start to finish, and I truly enjoyed the entire experience. I would absolutely take another class with him in the future!“

“Amazing tea shop! My wife and I enjoyed the Tea Ceremony with owner Fengxiao very much. Extremely relaxing and informative. Fengxiao spent extra time with us and made sure we enjoyed ourselves. Her very laid back approach to the ceremony made it very enjoyable. It was well worth our 2 hour drive to her shop. After the ceremony we purchased one of the 3 amazing teas we had. It was the Wild Old Tree Lao Ban Zhang Ripe Pu-erh Tea, 2005. A very good Puer at an extremely reasonable price. We also purchase a clay pot of excellent quality which was also very well priced. I am going to use Sinofilia Tea Shop for future online purchases. I highly recommend visiting Fengxiao’s store and booking the Tea Ceremony. At the end of our visit, we felt like we had met a new friend!“
