The food is absolutely incredible, the restaurant is beautiful and welcoming with a really cool open kitchen and chef's table, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure my party had a great night. And I have to add to the chorus - the Voodoo Shrimp really IS that good! Everyone who orders the pork chop special always loves it, I love the crawfish étouffée, and the escargot was very good too. “I wanted to get some fried chicken for dinner one night earlier this week and decided crown it was! I got a picnic box and I noticed they made kebabs on a sign on the wall so I said hey why not! The beef kebabs were so delicious! Juicy and full of tasty spices! The sauce the served with it was delicious! The chicken, as usual, was hot, fresh and juicy! Always worth it! “Came here for darts. Dart boards are in the back room which is great for the leagues. As each table is for a team. One server for the whole night which was great cause he came by very often. The food they served us wasn't bad at all. I haven't been to the restaurant side of it yet, but it seemed full for a Tuesday night for dinner.“

“Beautiful room and attentive service. Food was delicious, but my only complaint would be that the Zuppa I ordered was supposed to include scallops. They apparently didn't have them or had run out that night (although it wasn't extremely busy) and without informing me, they just substituted some salmon- not exactly an even swap! I should have been told they didn't have a key component of the dish, so I could opt for another entree. It was good, but the idea it was advertised as containing scallops was a deciding factor in choosing that particular dish.“
“I had to stop by to write this review! I ordered the honey garlic and the honey buffalo chicken wings for the Super Bowl and boy I wasn’t disappointed!!! It was finger licking good and I was so surprised that we had no left overs and our guest was inquiring about this place because it was so good. The wings were cooked to perfection, not hard or burnt under the sauce just a nice crisp that made everything so enjoyable. The owner was super sweet and the round tray that she put everything in was very professional. I’ll definitely be coming back to try some more food on her menu along with the wings. “An afternoon visit, while the beer selection is alway good, I found some of the beer to have some off flavors (tried a flight). Don't know if it's the cleaning of the lines, the beer that not being ordered often and hence a keg that been on too long? Most of the tap offering were fine, but they seem to, like many places too many IPA's and not enough porters, stouts etc.. our visit was right before St. Patrick's day so we tried the Irish offering, a Shepherd's pie and a Seafood Pot pie both were yummy, the right taste, our only criticism was the were only lukewarm. Overall Paragon is worth the visit, beer selection and food might just be timing, might just try dinner time, next time.Parking: Part of the Target mall just off the Westfield Garden State Pkwy. “WOW. My husband and I went here for the first time tonight with my in-laws and we were absolutely blown away. The service was top notch, everyone was so attentive. The place was cozy and very clean. The food was INCREDIBLE. Appetizer, meal, dessert one thing was better than the next. The crab cake was perfection, the owner Victor (what a gem of a man!) suggested the meatball appetizer, the cheesecake and bread pudding…GET THESE! The bread pudding was one of the most delicious things I have ever eaten. We also got the lobster bisque, clams, seafood linguine, wild mushroom fettuccine, salmon and mango raspberry sorbet… all absolutely delicious and very healthy portions. 12/10 recommend, wish I could give more than 5 stars!“

“With a charcuterie board, seven cheese mac and cheese and double decker grilled cheese on the menu this place takes cheese seriously. I had the double decker and will go back for the mac and cheese if I get a chance. The tap list is average but they did have a few interesting choices in cans. I’m not a whisky drinker but they did have a lot of whisky so if that’s your drink of choice you can enjoy a good whisky with your choice if cheesy goodness. The music was a little loud but not so much that you couldn’t talk to someone. There is also a good amount of pool tables.“

Busser is always friendly and really makes sure tables are clean and you have refills on coffee, water, etc). Servers are usually busy and give you enough attention. This isn't fine dining, and it's SI (IYKYK), and a diner, so I feel, it's all good. Pancakes always fluffy, French toast delicious, and always leftovers from the make your own omelet we always get. My only issue is that they only have regular milk or creamers (but that's a me issue, so I bring my own milk from home! Lol) We're always so eager to eat. The portions are generous, particularly with the oxtail. Both oxtail and jerk chicken were beautiful seasoned, moist and smokey (jerk chicken). The cabbage definitely had some TLC added in as well! So far I've tried the chaufa de camarones (Shrimp), chaufa de mariscos (mixed seafood),and their Rotisserie Garlic Chicken (I ordered 3 whole birds for a party I had and they were a hit). The food is very good, so far; bordering excellent. The portions on the chaufas were plenty; 2 people could easily share, 3 or 4 if you have something else on the side. We also ordered papas a la huancaina and maduros which were also good and enough to share for 4 people (we were 3 on Sunday). My sis n law had the churrasco which she said was very good. The atmosphere is clean, had about 8 to 10 tables and was welcoming. The only thing that management should watch for was that the prices on the menu were not what we were charged; they were about $2 to $3 more per main dish. The extra charge wasn't a big deal but it is worth mentioning as someone else may not brush it off. We plan on going back to try more of their dishes!“

“This is our fourth Cornucopia Cruise out of Perth Amboy. We love this cruise. It is a great evening of getting dressed up, amazing food, drinks, and great dancing music (DJ'd). The ship is kept up in nice shape. The port is what you would expect for a port but once you are onboard and sail into the sunset it is a fantastic night.“
