“Great breakfast sandwich options for less. Called ahead every time and without fail, my order was ready to go every time I walked in. We enjoyed the bacon, egg and cheese on a croissant as well as plain bagels with cream cheese. The coffee was also nothing to scoff at either. We definitely enjoyed our breakfast, so much so that we went back the next day. And for the price, you can't beat it. Definitely better than what you will get at the nearby hotels and for less.“

“tasty food, reasonably priced. i got the spinach and bacon croissant which was delicious and one of the best breakfast sandwiches i’ve ever had. my dad got chicken salad on a croissant and he liked it too and it came with chips and pickles. coffee was very strong and the chocolate chip muffin was fresh. service wasn’t the friendliest but it was fine (got some side eye for asking them to not waste a bag on my muffin and just give it to me in a napkin). a filling lunch for two people under $25, with coffee and and muffin for dessert.“

“I love this place. Bagels are always fresh. I always get a bacon, egg and cheese with or without avocado depending on my mood and it’s so good the bacon comes out nice and crispy not burnt but not soggy. The only thing I noticed the last time I was there I don’t know if the guy is the owner or what but he offered me “free gummy candy” (the hamburger gummies) like literally handed it to me and then proceeded to charge me for it. Like why say it’s free if it’s not lol“

“The guys here make a wonderful bagel. I look forward to hosting family gatherings where guests stay overnight because I know in the AM, I will be picking up loads of bagels from Bagel 1. Everyone loves them, and those that come from far, take some home with them. They blow the doors off of the spots East Brunswick offers. Worth the extra couple minute ride on a Saturday/Sunday morning. When I go by myself, the breakfast sandwiches are loaded and taste phenomenal. I had the grilled chicken and vegetables wrap from Milltown Bagel Bazaar and it was incredible! The chicken was perfectly grilled, the veggies were fresh and flavorful, and the cheesy sauce brought it all together in the best way. It was hot, juicy, and wrapped just right — no mess, just pure deliciousness. Super satisfying and full of bold flavor. Definitely one of the best wraps I’ve had. Best Bagal Bazaar in town.

“Very small bagel store, no frill interior. I believe they have a couple small tables at most and a wall hung flat panel. Tables may have been removed during peak COVID. Parking is pretty decent, I can typically get a parking spot without issue. Some bagel varieties do run out quite early in the morning. Typically everything bagel, salt, egg, wheat, blueberry are available later in the day. I do feel these bagels are some of the best in the immediate area, not bready, with enough chewy and crispy parts and moist. They have basic variety of bagel flavor selection but not a huge variety. Bagels have always been spot on consistent. Friendly staff and typically quick service.“

“I always had Dunellen Bagel when I lived there and it’s the best bagel I’ve ever had. I moved and bagels aren’t the same here so everytime I visit Jersey I have to go to Dunellen Bagel and I have my husband addicted too. He’s never tasted a bagel like this and he was amazed. So we bring bagels back home in our carry-on and freeze them at home. I would 100% definitely recommend this place!“

Charged $7 for a bagel with egg and scallion cream cheese, an egg and cheese sandwich is listed at $3.99. They add $3 for the scallions in the cheese. The other clerk was rude to customers. Will not be going back.“

“Not a bad bagel place for those who are in the area, solid pork roll, egg, and cheese sandwich. They have good cream cheese choices too. Overall not the best bang for buck bagel store though. They have a $1 card charge though so bring cash.“

Their multi-grain and french toast bagels are awesome too. Great food. Cooks prepare the food correctly. The staff are very friendly, it shows when they are rushed or stressed, but otherwise they are welcoming and thank us for coming in. The coffee is great! Tasty and fresh, I love some of the flavored beans, but they don't always have every flavor available. Chicken salad and tuna salad and other lunch options are also very good.“

I happened to be having a crappy morning and stopped in for a few bagels, but suddenly struggled with ordering because I had just gotten over a cold and my voice was still in and out.
