“I placed an online order around 1:00pm for 6:30pm pickup the same day. The website was easy to use, showing which cakes require 24 hour notice and which were available immediately. I selected the cake I wanted and checked out.
When I showed up at 6:30, I was informed that they didn't have the style of cake I ordered. I was allowed to chose any other cake, and the one I got was still delicious, but they didn't have the same flavor I wanted. Plus the design was very different and not as festive for the occasion.
I'm especially disappointed that nobody called me or emailed me in advance.“

Today, I used the restroom. It was very clean; however, there was no soap to wash my hands. The soap dispensers were empty and filled with water.

“We had a wonderful experience at Paris Baguette! We bought to go boxes of coffee for the staff at a local school. Eli and Sarah were so helpful preparing my order. Eli even helped me bring the coffee to my car. My kids and I went back later that day to grab some treats and everything was delicious. They even gave my kids a free hot chocolate! I was blown away by the kindness of the staff and the place was so clean and nice! Highly recommend!“

“This bagel shop is so good. I own a business right down the road from there and I go to bagel fresh frequently and get a toasted sesame bagel with bacon egg and cheese. It’s delicious. It wasn’t clearly marked anywhere on the Google maps entry, so that was a bit of a letdown. While not a total loss, the options were limited—especially if you were hoping for something savory.

That said, I gave the tres leches cake a try. At first bite, it was just okay, but as I kept going, it genuinely grew on me. By the last bite, I had to admit: I was a fan. Rich, creamy, and just the right level of sweet—definitely the highlight of the visit.“

In my basket now : fig jam (Lebanon), halva (Egypt), fig cookies (Syria), tea biscuits (Turkey), goat cheese (Syria and Egypt), feta chese (Bulgaria), olives on open (Greece) and not to forget my tiny packets of Giglets chewing gum (Lebanon). (I go there since 1988 and no, I am not a mid-easterner).
I was there today too, a dozen of buckets with all kind of olives : black, raw, pickled, pitted, small, big, stuffed etc.

My actual pickup appointment is for tomorrow, and I have a habit of doing call in advance to shippers and receivers to confirm my appointments. Luckily I asked them about checking in a day earlier and they’re so helpful that they allowed me to check in day early and I got loaded in minutes 😊😊
