I can also tell you that our chefs cannot hear a thing back in our kitchen, so if you did say something, I can guarantee he didn’t hear you. But to put a bad review without even knowing the circumstances and trying to give us a bad name is irresponsible and immature. Maybe next time you can stop and ask instead of ASSUMING. “I love the Little Goat! They have actual hash browns. The staff is lovely. The food overall is fresh, tasty, comforting and the menu has lots of creative specials and then there are the cinnamon rolls. Homemade cinnamon rolls that are just extraordinary. Also brownies.“

“We love coming here but even with reservations we always wait about 15 mins to be seated. That's fine but there is no place to wait comfortably. Maybe consider taking out one table to make room for a sitting area? At least in the summer. As always, the food is outstanding. The servers are warm and efficient. Noise level is high.“

“We ordered the 3 course meal. Beef wellington, lobster risotto and dessert. Our daughter ordered the mac and cheese. The risotto was amazing as well as the dessert and the mac and cheese. Only complaint was the wellington was room temp/cold when we received it. That may be how it is supposed to be served, we aren't sure as it was our first time trying it. The meat was cooked perfectly and the outside crust was so good. Our 9 year old did say the mashed potatoes needed to be seasoned as well. Overall, great experience.“

Today we ventured to Egg Harbor Township and the Shop Rite Shopping center to find a local spot to have a fabulous lunch & voila we actually found THE Local Spot Restaurant! A Breakfast & lunch haven open from 8 am to 3 pm everyday of the week! As we ventured in we see booths and a welcoming counter and in the back many more spacious tables. Joining yours truly today was my travelling companion always my Nan and her cousin Theresa. We get Nicole a very engaging young lady who would be our server today and then we also met Danielle and we were doubly happy! Great young ladies who did not just robot the order they were informative, enjoyed the banter and actually were both a breath of fresh air from the normal may I help you no personality people many of you have said to me you are not happy with! It's always nice to smile when greeting your customers! I started off with the lentil soup and the ladies had the appetizer sampler with Onion Rings, Mozzarella Sticks & Jalapeno Peppers. Lunch was the Corned Beef Grilled Reuben, Grilled Chicken Gyro and for yours truly it was the Big Boy Cheese Steak with Fried Onions & Peppers! We gave the meals six thumbs up! We also gave our servers a standing ovation. And they are so easy to find. Heading east on the black horse pike you'll see the shopping center entrance just past the Burger King. Turn right and go to the end of the road & it's right in front of you! Find a place to park, walk in and get ready for a great breakfast or lunch. We all had to get boxes as the portions were to say the least generous. We met Steve at the main window and he's handling the abundance of take out orders and if you want to join in for a take out call 609-568-5197 but the recommendation here is you make time to visit not just a local spot but THE Local Spot in EHT and ask for Nicole or Danielle. It was a great time had by all of us and as we left they even reached out to say goodbye and in todays culinary world that's not the norm. Total for a tremendous lunch for three right about $50. Always get the pretzel! It’s amazing!
We got the grilled chicken sandwich from the special board. It’s was on freshly baked focaccia, baked right in the kitchen. Fresh Mozzarella Arugula and a pesto mayo. Served with homemade potato chips. My personal favorite. Out of this world delicious.
I got the blueberry lemonade special drink. It was refreshing. Must try!
My son got the Texas mule also a great drink.“
