“We had Castaways cater my daughter’s engagement party. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it. Chicken franchise, broccoli and cavatelli, roasted potatoes, mozzarella and tomato and shrimp cocktail that was amazing!!!! I’m definitely going to use them again!“

“Have been in a number of times to eat but recently placed a catering order for a birthday party. The owner, Tom, gave me perfect recommendations for how much to order for the number of guests and made ordering, paying + pickup beyond easy (including some extras like rolls, sauces and pickled onions). The food was the talk of the party!! People couldn't stop going back for more and asking where it came from. Will definitely be back again and again!“

“Overall rating is based on the food itself. The meats in the combo platter were more tender and flavorful than nearby alternative(s). Ribs and the chicken in particular. The street corn side is awesome. This feels more authentic than some of the semi-chains around.“

“Ordered catering for family party. Food was SO good! Delivery on time. Quick setup. They even provided serving utensils. I had to make a few last-minute changes and they were super to work with. The ribs were tender & not fatty at all. And the mac ‘n cheese & cornbread were big hits! Definitely recommend. I’m already ordering again for next weekend.“

“Thank you Suzanne and your great staff at Sweet Carolina for such a wonderful experience catering our son and future daughter in law’s Engagement Party. She is a graduate of UNC and was one of their star women’s soccer players. What better theme to have than true Carolina style bbq!!! Nothing compares to this style of cooking. Everything was perfect- from planning the menu and quantity needed to the well packaged trays of deliciousness. Directions for heating and maintaining the food and the extra condiments made it so easy for us. EVERYTHING was just perfect and truly enjoyed by all. We got rave reviews from our guests and wanted to share this so that you too can have a great experience with Sweet CAROLINA. 🩵“

“Outstanding and slow cooked. Also, collard greens not cooked in pork for anyone who cannot eat it. Just the beans- those ones are cooked in pork. The flavors here feel like a real BBQ. But Mac n cheese isn't baked. So get the Mac n cheese bites“

“Great time very friendly & helpful staff who will take the time to explain everything to you. I love fogo de chao but I actually preferred it here the miso soup was excellent the Szechuan soup was very spicy food mixed with miso temperate. It was great too.“

“The other day my friends and I had the pleasure of eating at the Langhorn Steakhouse on Rt 70 in Lakewood. The meals were more than reasonably priced, and they were delicious. The staff was attentive, extremely friendly and courteous. Ty, the host, met us so amiably and showed us to our table. The server, Sharon B., was so attentive we never had to ask her for anything. Anything we needed she was right there to give it to us. We couldn't have asked for more.“

“Catered my son's birthday party from the Hickory Hog yesterday. We live 45 minutes away but we just had to have their food for his party. It traveled really well and everyone raved about the food. The ribs and the teriyaki chicken with grilled pineapple were big hits... BUT the pulled pork and the corn fritters were the crowd faves!!! The owner is awesome and the customer service is top notch. We will always come back here!! 😍“
