Should have posted this a couple of weeks ago to let everyone know what an absolutely beautiful job they did with the delicious Woodland Creatures 1/2 sheet cake for my daughter’s baby shower! Wow! It was so moist and tasty, received so many compliments from the ladies. And you know we ladies love our cakes! The decorator created an over-the-top adorable woodland creatures design. Even the gluten free cupcakes were tasty and gorgeous. Kudos to the entire staff and owner. Everyone was so helpful and lovely. Would highly recommend this bakery when you want the best! “Literally the best Knafe in all of Paterson. Better than any other spot. Most authentic Knafe I've tasted in America. The most similar I've seen to this one was in Chicago. And I've tried plenty of Knafe in America.

Also their Znud Al Sit are amazing. I usually call in the morning to make an order by noon time for best results.“

Get there before 3;30 PM if you want sliced cheese because they close the slicer at 3;30. I know if I get there at 3;32 PM the slicer is off. So I get tuna fish instead and it’s about as good as it gets. The staff is friendly and do a good job. What a place!“

We usually order in lemon raspberry and chocolate chip—both offered in gluten-free—and they are absolutely amazing! I usually eat gluten-free, and these have become my go-to. Even though my staff isn’t gluten-free, they absolutely love them and can’t even tell the difference. We also get them delivered to our workplace, which is a convenient option. “My family and I go here all the time to get cakes for any event! Every cake we have tried has been delicious. Also, they have the best lobster claw pastries I’ve ever had. The cream is rich and the pastry is so light and crunchy, and it even holds up great being stored in the fridge for a few days. I highly recommend this bakery!“

“The Dough palace is a wonderful place with rich, sweet treats. Me and my mom went recently and we got the 12 piece truffle tray. My faves were the cookie monster and the fruity Pebble truffles. They also offer treats for your dog and cookie dough birthday cakes. The atmosphere was well decorated and the owner was friendly and nice. Will be coming back soon.“

Stopped in on Tuesday, got an everything bagel with olive cream cheese, and by far the best bagel I’ve ever had. Today I stopped and got a ham, egg and cheese, and again best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had. You now have a very happy new customer.“

“Just had the best experience with ladyfingers! I had a birthday party for my daughter and they provided a two tier cake and a coffee bar. Lauren was very responsive from start to finish. I was able to pick the flavors and filings for each tier off their long list of options. I didn’t have much time to look for a cake design so just sent over a photo of a cake that I quickly googled. They were able to create it, and even better, they added a customized cake topper with my daughter’s name. They also delivered it to the venue which was very important to me since I didn’t want to deal with picking up a big cake from a bakery and making sure it didn’t get ruined during an already busy day. At the party they provided us with a “coffee bar” serving up a variety of flavored hot and iced coffee & chai. The guests loved this! Many drove from far so a coffee option was exactly what the needed upon arrival. The onsite team was great, arrived early to setup, and went above and beyond by lending me a cake stand and having ice delivered for us when we were unable to get any because it happened to be sold out everywhere near by. Overall great experience and would highly recommend them!“

“This place is both a bakery and an Iranian grocery store. They bake fresh sangak bread, which I get from here regularly.
I also buy fresh herbs, pickles, and most of my Iranian products from this store. Everything is very fresh and they carry good-quality brands.

“We chose to have Calandra's Bakery make our wedding cake, and we are so glad that we did! From the moment we came in for our cake tasting, we could tell this was not their first rodeo. They came prepared with a layout of cake options. We ended up choosing the vanilla cake with vanilla custard and fresh strawberries, and it was super delicious to eat on our wedding day. In designing the cake, there were a lot of options we could mix and match/choose from which made the process super smooth for someone who didn't know what she wanted originally. Highly recommend getting your wedding cake from Calandra's.“

“This is one of my favorite food places. The bakery goods are fantastic. Bagels are made on premises and if you get lucky, you can get them fresh out of the oven.

Though not high end dining, this restaurant checks the boxes. Food is excellent. Staff is friendly and helpful. It is not fair to rate the atmosphere on the same plane as the other two. It’s not fancy but quite functional. Especially since it’s usually utilized as a take out place. Most of the time, I’m passing through. I phone in my order and pick it up shortly after. BTW, the tuna and chicken salads are to die for. Maybe the best I’ve ever had. The egg salad is no slouch either.“
