“Authentic Japanese sushi and comfort food. All of their fish is fresh, their sushi rice is perfect, and their miso soup is authentic miso.We stopped by for lunch and were blown away. Great, welcoming service. The interior is cozy. They serve fresh green tea, which is always a plus! This is the best quality sushi and Japanese cuisine you’ll find in all of Princeton.“

“We stopped in on the way back from a trip to Trenton. We searched for a place to get Pho, soup dumplings and boba tea. This place hit on all three.
This is a small store front and at 9 PM on a Saturday it was very busy. There were a few seats open but most were full. There were a half dozen or more people waiting for food and drinks and a steady stream of people were coming in to pick up takeout.
The decor is contemporary, bright and busy lots of signs, specials, menus, etc.
There were only three employees visible and all were in constant motion.
The service was efficient without time to do much more than acknowledge each customer.
The food and drinks are focus and the draw
I am not a huge fan of boba tea, but when asked to try it, I have to say that it was excellent. The milk tea was rich and flavorful, the bobas were not too sweet, the texture was so much better than others that I've had. (Admitting that I am no expert, I will say that I will definitely explore the drink options when I am able to visit again.)
The soup dumplings were delicious. Many different flavors shown through and blended perfectly.
My favorite pho is roast pork, which was not an option, so we got the standard beef. It was also very good.
This seems to be a Princeton staple and I can absolutely see why. I wish they were closer. I would absolutely be a regular if it was close to home!
I would highly recommend this place!“

“Midori Japanese Restaurant is an absolute gem! From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive. The ambiance is cozy yet stylish, perfect for a relaxed dining experience.
We started with the miso soup and gyoza, both of which were perfectly seasoned and delicious. The sushi was the real highlight — so fresh and beautifully presented. I highly recommend trying their specialty rolls; the Midori Roll was a flavor explosion!
The portion sizes are generous, and the quality of the ingredients is top-notch. For anyone looking for an authentic and reasonably priced Japanese meal, this place is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be coming back for more!
Recommendation:
Naruto roll
Midori chips
Torched King Salmon roll
Imperial dragon roll“

“Always come here if I’m hanging around Princeton. Has to be my favorite store hands down. Tight space but lots of variety of snacks, ready to go meals, drinks, treats, fresh meats, produce, cutlery, and trinkets. I always get one of their homemade onigiri and always recommend it to friends if they’re with me.“
