“We ordered the omikase plate. The fish was EXCELLENT. Ultimately, a pricey little dinner for 8 pieces of sushi, but it was very very high quality sushi which has seemingly become harder and harder to find these days. Would definitely return.“

“This hole in the wall Somerville sushi restaurant is top notch. While it isn't the cheapest, the price is fair and it's always very fresh. Please don't go so there will be a table open for my party. Just kidding, but seriously.“

“There are many sushi places in the area, but we always come back to Yokohama. Every time we go, we know we will get delicious sushi at a fraction of the price compared to the restaurants around but the quality is still just as good, if not better! We got a seat at the bar, where we watched the sushi chefs work their magic. Fun atmosphere and delicious food!“

“This used to be my 5 star go to since 2020... but things have changed since my last order. I can tell they went to cheaper ingredients but they also raised the prices. It's to expensive for me to enjoy now with a lowered quality food. Really disappointed“

“We love this place, the food is excellent, the jockey, and the lobster roll are my favorites, but in general, all are excellent. Service is excellent. Unfortunately, they don't open Sundays, so you need to plan accordingly. Pricing is average. Definitely recommend this place.“

“I've been coming here to the mall food court inside Bridgewater Commons since 2008. Tori Sushi never disappoints me and the service is so fast. The quality is even better than you would expect from a mall food court. They even have Poké bowls which is nice for a little bit of variety.“

“I went out for lunch and I was trying to decide between two different places in Manville and Raritan. I got more than a little lost and ended up driving around for a bit. I found myself in this small shopping plaza in front of Sakura Sushi. I was immediately pleased with the tranquil atmosphere. The staff was friendly and the food was good. Highly recommend if you love sushi. The tempura banana 10/10.“

“Great neighborhood Japanese restaurant with the best sushi around. Terrific Bento boxes both lunch and dinner. Also full hot menu and sushi menu with special rolls. I ordered Unagi Don luncheon and the eel was cooked perfectly. Others ordered Bentos with Salmon and Tempura with California Rolls. Everything was cooked perfectly and the Nori was just the right texture. Service is very efficient and friendly. Ambience is just right for a place like this. Many competitors but this is the best.“

“My wife and I love this place. We haven’t been in almost 10 months because she was pregnant but we went the other day and the sushi was just as we remembered it being- delicious and fresh. We really love the Monica roll but you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu.“

“They have a nice fish tank, and a chill atmosphere. Good to have a date. Only reason I gave 4* was because I don't know what it is but the California roll just didn't check my taste buds. I'm from NYC and eat sushi regularly. IDK if it's because they use real crab and not the fake one (I'm used to that flavor) but I've tried them 2x and both times were the same and just found it difficult to enjoy. This doesn't mean they are bad or not worth a try. I think for NJ expectations they are good. Actually I tried all 3 local spots and they all pretty much the same. I'm probably spoiled by eating NYC Brooklyn sushi lol“

“I ate hibachi, sushi, and sashimi. It was of high quality, which is hard to find in the central region, and the owner couple was friendly and kind. I'm grateful that a restaurant like this exists in this neighborhood and I think I'll go there often.“

“Ever since they changed their location to outside the mall and changed the staff, it hasn’t been the same honestly. Nothing against the new staff, they try their best and They do welcome you in and do a great job at taking your order however exporting your order…. Eh. Takes them sometime and sometimes they forget certain side items. I miss being in the line and just picking up your order as it’s being made .“

“They do GREAT Japanese food, rolls, etc...Their Chinese food is not typical American Chinese food. Less salty on the sauces?Their Thai is pretty good.Basically, it has everything Asian in one place which makes ordering for different cravings pretty easy in my house with multiple picky eaters!“
