WOW! Welcome to Red Bank, Saffron! I’ve been waiting *months* for this restaurant to open and it absolutely did not disappoint. I’ve been very lucky to have eaten lots of delicious Indian and Indian fusion meals, and Saffron was truly a standout. It was difficult to choose from among the appetizers and entrées, and the very kind wait staff gave great recommendations. From the first bite my husband and I were amazed. Based on the reviews, Saffron Red Bank - Modern Indian Dining | BYOB is a restaurant with a beautiful ambiance and perfect lighting. The food is spot on with great flavors and creative presentation. The Butter chicken is like silk, the chicken Biryani is a must have, and the eggplant dish is delicious. As for appetizers, the Shisho & Kale Chaat is exploding with flavors, and the Kolkatta Beetroot Chop is amazing. The Truffle naan is really good and compliments all the main dishes. Other menu highlights include chicken bao buns, lamb chops that are out of this world, and smoked curry goat with black garlic naan. The service is excellent, friendly, and seamless. It is a fun dining experience with a nice twist on classic dishes. The only disappointment was they were out of the Julab Jamun dessert. Overall, it is a new go-to Indian place with a nice amount of spice and flavor.
