“My new favorite Indian food spot in NJ. Everything is incredibly delicious! Truffel Morel Lamb Korma and Seabass Goan Curry are must try. Inside the restaurant is very clean and good atmosphere. Good service and quick. 10 out of 10 for Indian restaurant in this area.“
“Food is consistently delicious and picture perfect in restaurant and takeout. I’m the latter it’s always piping hot. Unfortunately, the amount of rice given for takeout is insufficient. They use very tiny containers per order and extra rice costs $2.00- for the tiny amount and being it’s one of the cheapest foods, this doesn’t feel fair. I like that they offer the occasional 20% off coupon but be informed that it is capped at $10. It should be made clearer in the text or just made into a $10 off coupon. Overall, minor gripes that shouldn’t stop anyone from dining at this lovely establishment.“
“Haldi Chowk Indian Bistro proved to be a phenomenal paradise for our palates. The Chicken 65 brought an explosion of spice, the Butter Chicken exuded creamy perfection, and the Paneer Butter Masala showcased a delightful vegetarian option with its rich, flavorful sauce. Every dish was a testament to Haldi Chowk's culinary mastery, leaving us with a memorable and delightful dining experience. Highly recommended for those seeking an authentic and satisfying Indian feast.“
“This is a local favorite for good Indian food. We've been here twice and both times the food, and service were consistently excellent. The food has always been tasty and authentic. One time we ate meat dishes, the 2nd time (yesterday) vegetarian dishes. Yesterday we enjoyed Chana masala, tofu curry and garlic naan. The garlic naan was on point, and the meal was excellent. The menu has a large selection of vegetarian options. The service here is great. We had our waters consistently filled and if we needed anything, the server was quick to accommodate. We noticed many people coming in for pickup orders. The location is a little odd, being in a strip mall with a lot of vacancies, you'll find the restaurant nestled in a corner behind a building so it isn't viewable from the road. I would consider this a hidden gem.“
“How is this place not packed 24/7?!?!? The food was amazing and the entire atmosphere was calm and inviting! I ordered a chai to drink and the waitress suggested the Channe Ki Chaat as an appetizer. I did not regret it! I also ordered the garlic nann and shrimp Tikka marsala for dinner with medium spice. It was perfect. It had just the right amount of heat to make you pause before the next bite but also kept the flavor. The prices are reasonable but I felt like it was a steal with how good it was.“
“Today was our son's 18th birthday and Vinni was our waiter and he was excellent and he took really, really good care of us. Bombay River is a family owned business. The food was excellent and the entire staff was very courteous. We had a great time. This is a place that you definitely need to try if you want good food, hospitality and a cultural experience.“
