I ordered the chicken sandwich with bacon, lettuce, onion, & tomato. It was too good.

Now look my good people we in Jersey. We also at a truck stop service plaza. So prices might be a little high, but this actually was on par with other places I go.

I paid $8.58 or something like that. They had the crinkle cut fries, but I wasn't in the mood.

So I just got the sandwich and nothing else. This place is highly recommended in my opinion. Come check them out.

“I don’t know what all these bad reviews are for but the food was literally amazing. I don’t know if it’s because I’m easy to please but I’m not even kidding you guys need to humble yourselves and refrain from writing such bad reviews on a place that has such fresh and crispy chicken. I’m not the type ever to write a review but for some reason I just felt so inclined and was quite disheartened reading the negative reviews people left. Probably all the Karen’s… as someone who has worked retail and understands stressful work environments these workers are literally amazing an incredibly organized. Maybe I caught the best time of day? I don’t know but food in Long Island is definitely not like this I was absolutely impressed.“

“WOW!! Love Love Love this little place. lt’s great! First of all, we've been looking for a good burger place in the Union City, WNY, NB area, and it’s been tough, usually they’re mediocre at best, but not this one.
We walked jn and were warmly greeted. Our server was so sweet! She handed us a menu, which looks like an ipad, and there were so many choices, with pictures of the what the food looks like.
My bf and I ordered 2 burgers because we were in a burger mood. I can say that it definitely wasn’t a disappointment! The burgers were juicy, tasty and big! Definitely the Best burger we’ve had in the area.

The place is small, but so charming with all the decor. And they have a TV screen which shows how all the food is prepared. definitely makes you hungry!

Granted, the burgers were messy but definitely worth it! Besides the fact that they give you utensils.

As we were walking out, we ran into one of the owners, And we had to tell him how much we loved the place and the food.

Parriyas is absolutely a great choice for sandwiches and bowls and the wonderful service!

It was my first time experiencing halal food so I asked bunch of questions to the guys at the line and they were very chill; they described all the toppings that I pointed to and gave me a GENEROUS PORTION. The owner and his wife are fantastic, welcoming, and super into thier craft. The dish Japchae ( sweet potatoe glass noodle) was a great dish that I always ordered with grilled chicken. It was very tasty with it's own vegetables in the mix. The grilled chicken was always fresh and tasty. Unfortunately, I ordered this same dish and it only has a few slices of red pepper , a few greens. It tasted mostly like a Sriracha noodle. The chicken is not the same. It tasted strange. For one, it isn't the same white meat grilled chicken and even if it's dark meat, the issue was the taste. I'm truly dissatisfied. Please don't change the original dishes that made us fall in love with your establishment. Looking forward to your progress. Namaste 🌻“

Burgers here are great! Juicy, flavorful, gentle crisp on the patties. All ingredients are always fresh and delicious.

Fries are to match the burgers. They serve battered fries and a selection of seasonings. Always hot and crispy, never under a lamp.

What really made me write this review was the SERVICE!
You can order from the tablet if you’re antisocial like me, get your food and sit alone… but the staff here are more than happy to take your order.

Today I came in for lunch, decided to try the chai shake. They were out of straws.
Jada (or Jayda, sorry, wasn’t paying attention, busy day!) told me this when she gave me the shake and said “I took the whole shake off, sorry about that”

No straw, but I can totally get one somewhere else…. For the price of a shake, I can get 2 sodas.
This was a great recovery for something so small.
It made me think back on the days when I worked food service, and would think “eh, they’ll get a straw somewhere”

5 minutes later, Jada came back with a straw!
Somewhere close-by probably helped out, but it’s this level of SERVICE, that’s commendable.

To the owners and managers reading this, I really hope ms Jada gets a raise.

Will be coming back here about twice a month for lunch and whenever I’m in the mood for a burger.“

“I had the Fat Western Boy, and I can EASILY say it is in the Top 3 burgers I have had in my life. Like, eaaaaasily.

The burger was incredible, the mix with the patties, the taste, the cheese… The cheese was godly. I truly enjoyed it, like, a lot. I wish I had bought two of them, or three, or four.

The place is small, yes. Nevertheless you are having a burger. No need to be sitting and talking there for hours.

If you visit NYC, this place is a MUST.

Plus the guys in the back were listening to some Spanish bangers that made the wait even shorter.

“Can't blame for where this location is located. Parking is shared with a couple of other franchises with very limited. Small groups of youngins hanging out in the parking area smoking whatever which may create an uncomfortable atmosphere for many. Checkers itself is good. Fairly quick service, very attentive and clean store.“

“My wife and I visited Handcraft Burgers and Brews for my birthday this past weekend. As soon as my wife opened the menu she knew that I was going to have to try the burger of the month which was a peanut butter and grape jelly topped hamburger with jalapenos, bacon and cheese. Admittedly I have never had peanut butter and jelly on a burger before but I figured I would try something new and see what all of the hype was about. Turns out, I loved it! Every bite was so flavorful and completely made my birthday lunch a worthwhile venture! We also tried the tater tots, because who doesn't love a good tater tot. We could have chosen from multiple dipping sauces but we decided to go with the garlic aioli and I am glad we did. I dipped each of my tater tots in the sauce and there was plenty for both of us to share. We were helped by Vanessa at the restaurant and she was very accommodating when I was having trouble using a coupon that I had for my birthday. All in all this was a wonderful choice for my birthday lunch and when we are in the area again I would definitely stop by and perhaps try the latest burger of the month along with some tater tots and garlic aioli dipping sauce of course!“

“Food is always great but its been about 7 times that I have went and the fried chicken has run out, and it takes 15-20 minutes for it to cook. I feel like they need to better manage the timing. Once they see that the chicken on display is half gone, they should already start frying a new batch instead of waiting for the last min where there's less than 10 pieces for them to now start frying the new batch. Also they have a limit on breast they fried in each batch. So if the few pieces are gone, you will now have to wait for the new batch to fry and that can take over 45 mins, especially if they are not ready to fry a batch. Other than that, the food is great and the staff are also very friendly.“
