“This food truck happened to be parked less than a block from the hotel we were staying at and it was after midnight and nearly everything was closed except for the McDonalds and a pizza joint. Hankering for some fresh food, we gave this food truck a try and we were very happy we did. The food was fresh and very delicious! And the prices were much more reasonable than what we found in other Mexican restaurants in midtown. We went back 3 more times during our 10 day stay in NYC. Highly recommended.“

“Today we visit Parriyas..we don't know much bergenline so as soonest we saw this spot it caught our attention..the food was amazing,the attentiion and atmosphere was great. Our waiter Mariana was beyond with the service and I went straight with her recommendations,am glad I did..the burger was so delicious and the drink super good...I order onion rings as well. So crispy...this place is a MUST!! Will definitely come again.

“I drive by this spot plenty of times, so today I had time and decided to go and check it out.. I must slight crowd good sign so far meaning the food was on a heavy rotation orders coming in and out, more of a reason for me to order. Who doesn’t like fresh food and they prices wasn’t bad at all let’s see how long that’s going to last before they start jacking it up,but that’s another story for another day. Place was clean so I placed my order mix over rice and lemonade to stay. They didnt missed at all food was on point for real great taste and proportion was good to I’ll recommend this spot to anyone uptown that haven’t gone there yet… I hope they keep this place in tact I’ll be back for more 🤘🏾“

“I got chicken over rice for $12 hands down best deal I’ve had in all of NYC as a foodie. It was my first time experiencing halal food so I asked bunch of questions to the guys at the line and they were very chill; they described all the toppings that I pointed to and gave me a GENEROUS PORTION. Chicken was well seasoned and tender, rice was also seasoned and chickpeas and hummus were decently fresh; everything tasted good even on the next day. This fed me for easily two days! It was truly amazing that I can get chicken,rice,fries(shocking for me) and veggie of choice for only $12 was so impressive. I’m definitely going back.“

“Not normally a fan of breakfast and especially airport bteakfasts. However this place is great! Not fast food outside of the airport cheap but cheap for airport standards plus much better than any of the usual airport suspects.

Oh and open 24 hours so should you get stranded you will find them open. Am impressed.“

The owner and his wife are fantastic, welcoming, and super into thier craft. I say craft because these aren't generic combinations, theyre thought out combinations and flavors that work perfectly in whatever way you like. It's my favorite hot dog spot I've ever visited. Every time we are craving something this is our go to place and it’s pretty close by as well. A lot of options to choose from and the service is great! “The halal combo here is up there with some of the best halal carts in the city. It’s my go-to option here in East Harlem (as well as their chicken loaded fries). They recently went through some renovations/branding changes so the atmosphere here is nice. The staff are also very friendly.“

“Spud’s Slope is honestly amazing. The food is so good — the loaded potatoes are packed with flavor and always hit the spot. You can tell everything is made with care and the portions are solid.

The customer service is great too. The owner is super nice, welcoming, and really cares about the customers, which makes the whole experience even better. Definitely one of my favorite spots for comfort food. I’ll for sure be back.“

“I have been a loyal customer of k street food since they opened. I would have given them 5 stars, however lately I noticed changes to certain dishes I am accustomed to purchasing. The food here was always fresh and tasty. I sure hope Mr. and Mrs. Moon ,( owners/ read these reviews, since they're no longer working here. The dish Japchae ( sweet potatoe glass noodle) was a great dish that I always ordered with grilled chicken. It was very tasty with it's own vegetables in the mix. The grilled chicken was always fresh and tasty. Unfortunately, I ordered this same dish and it only has a few slices of red pepper , a few greens. It tasted mostly like a Sriracha noodle. The chicken is not the same. It tasted strange. For one, it isn't the same white meat grilled chicken and even if it's dark meat, the issue was the taste. I'm truly dissatisfied. Please don't change the original dishes that made us fall in love with your establishment. Looking forward to your progress. Namaste 🌻“

“I went there with my bf and he said it was pretty good a year ago when he tried it so we tried it together this year. I didn't know what to expect, but the person at front was very nice! And it only took 15 minutes to cook which was a really reasonable time. When the food came it looked amazing and tastes amazing too! It was super affordable and it's very filling as well!“

Was delicious: simple, hot, and greasy. A good amount of meat for a low price these days, and came out fast.

My husband and I split the fish + fries bucket and were blown away by all aspects. The fries were perfectly crisp and the addition of the spicy option, which had an excellent sweet undertone, kept us going back for more. The fish was fresh, flaky, and perfectly crisp. We opted for the garlic chili and sweet chili dipping sauces and both were packed with flavor and complimented the fish perfectly. “I had the Fat Western Boy, and I can EASILY say it is in the Top 3 burgers I have had in my life. Like, eaaaaasily.

The burger was incredible, the mix with the patties, the taste, the cheese… The cheese was godly. I truly enjoyed it, like, a lot. I wish I had bought two of them, or three, or four.

The place is small, yes. Nevertheless you are having a burger. No need to be sitting and talking there for hours.

The parking situation can get a little messy sometimes because of it(they have a small lot) but it’s worth it. “Can't blame for where this location is located. Parking is shared with a couple of other franchises with very limited. Small groups of youngins hanging out in the parking area smoking whatever which may create an uncomfortable atmosphere for many. Checkers itself is good. Fairly quick service, very attentive and clean store.“
