“This food truck happened to be parked less than a block from the hotel we were staying at and it was after midnight and nearly everything was closed except for the McDonalds and a pizza joint. Hankering for some fresh food, we gave this food truck a try and we were very happy we did. The food was fresh and very delicious! And the prices were much more reasonable than what we found in other Mexican restaurants in midtown. We went back 3 more times during our 10 day stay in NYC. Highly recommended.“

“Bowling Green is a station I have taken so many times and it has always been a reliable and easy place to travel through. Many trains stop here, so getting around the city is simple, especially when I am heading to Brooklyn like I did today. The trains come often and the ride is usually smooth.
The station has elevators, escalators, and stairs, which makes it convenient for everyone. It is easy to move around and the layout feels clear. I never feel confused in this station. There are always people around, which makes it feel safe at all hours. You see commuters, families, and a lot of tourists passing through because the area is full of NYC attractions.
It is right by Battery Park, the Statue of Liberty ferries, the Charging Bull, and the whole Financial District, so the neighborhood always feels lively. The station is clean, bright, and dependable, and it has become one of the places I use the most when I am traveling around the city.“

“Went there in Lower east village Manhattan to have halal Tikka rolls. Had to wait for a good 45 minutes for our order. Small place run by a family, I suppose. Rolls were good and spicy. The place was so so with little attention to regular cleaning since they appeared really short handed. Hope they can improve the ambiance further.“

“Today we visit Parriyas..we don't know much bergenline so as soonest we saw this spot it caught our attention..the food was amazing,the attentiion and atmosphere was great. Our waiter Mariana was beyond with the service and I went straight with her recommendations,am glad I did..the burger was so delicious and the drink super good...I order onion rings as well. So crispy...this place is a MUST!! Will definitely come again.

“My food was delicious. I had the 60/40 and fries. The space is cozy and positive. It’s perfect for takeout, but there are a few seats and a counter available inside. “I got chicken over rice for $12 hands down best deal I’ve had in all of NYC as a foodie. It was my first time experiencing halal food so I asked bunch of questions to the guys at the line and they were very chill; they described all the toppings that I pointed to and gave me a GENEROUS PORTION. Chicken was well seasoned and tender, rice was also seasoned and chickpeas and hummus were decently fresh; everything tasted good even on the next day. This fed me for easily two days! It was truly amazing that I can get chicken,rice,fries(shocking for me) and veggie of choice for only $12 was so impressive. I’m definitely going back.“

“My wife and I visited Handcraft Burgers and Brews for my birthday this past weekend. As soon as my wife opened the menu she knew that I was going to have to try the burger of the month which was a peanut butter and grape jelly topped hamburger with jalapenos, bacon and cheese. Admittedly I have never had peanut butter and jelly on a burger before but I figured I would try something new and see what all of the hype was about. Turns out, I loved it! Every bite was so flavorful and completely made my birthday lunch a worthwhile venture! We also tried the tater tots, because who doesn't love a good tater tot. We could have chosen from multiple dipping sauces but we decided to go with the garlic aioli and I am glad we did. I dipped each of my tater tots in the sauce and there was plenty for both of us to share. We were helped by Vanessa at the restaurant and she was very accommodating when I was having trouble using a coupon that I had for my birthday. All in all this was a wonderful choice for my birthday lunch and when we are in the area again I would definitely stop by and perhaps try the latest burger of the month along with some tater tots and garlic aioli dipping sauce of course!“

“I stopped by Wonder and honestly it was a really solid burger spot.

The burger was super good. juicy, fresh, and actually tasted like something you’d want again, not just fast food filler. The bun was soft but held everything together, and the fries were crispy and salty in a good way.

Service was quick and everything came out pretty fast, which was nice because I was starving. Overall it’s just an easy, no-stress place to grab a really good burger. I’d definitely go back.“

“This is by far the best chicken and rice spot in Bergen County and has far surpassed Halal Guys for the freshness, quality, taste, and portions in its platters. I discovered it as a door dasher and their gave it a try and maaaaannnn I was pleasantly suprised. Plus I tried the wings, as a wing aficionados and HOT DAMN, their Buffalo flavored wings are off the chain. They dont do the BS breaded wings so many places do these days. It just buffalo styled wings. I have also tried their shakes - cinnamon toast crunch and it's the 💣diggity. Such a large menu that I need to try more stuff.

“I went with my bro to try this chicken spot and it was top. I ordered the big back burger and it crushed !! The combination of all the toppings plus the special big back sauce was so good. My bro ordered the Alito fries , I tried some of the chicken - soft and tasty. We shared waffles and chicken as well. The waffles were great. The plus thing - all of it was halal! I definitely would recommend anyone to eat here and I will be visiting again soon!“

“I had the hainanese chicken with liver over gingered rice, really well executed and super delicious. Absolutely loved the taro in coconut milk too , not too sweet, lands all the flavors I wanted in taro. Service was speedy and attentive, I highly recommend this place.“

“GERMAN DONER KEBAB - AN ENLIGHTENMENT If you're from Berlin, it feels like there's a kebab store on every other corner. So I can recognize and judge a kebab when I see it. Even just leaving Berlin and Brandenburg, the kebab experience changes within Germany. The further you get away from Berlin, the worse the kebabs get. Some time ago in New York, I discovered one or two places trying to make a kebab. Unfortunately, I have not yet been able to find a proper kebab in New York, despite the name kebab. What was being sold was called a kebab, but had very little to do with a kebab and tasted even less like a kebab. All the more enlightenment then... the recommendation of a friend living in Brooklyn. "German Doner Kebab" in Brooklyn. And then the first kebab there since 2018 here in New York. I can't even describe how happy I was. It looked like a kebab, it tasted like a kebab and came pretty close to a kebab from Berlin. Really well made. Incl. tax 12.51 dollars is a bit steep, but still good value for New York. The portion was good and filling. Everything is really fresh and well seasoned. The bread was just as it should be, thin and crispy. This was pretty much the best kebab I've had in a very, very long time (with the exception of one visit to Berlin). I will definitely go back there again. GERMAN DONER KEBAB - EINE ERLEUCHTUNG Wenn man aus Berlin kommt, hat man gefühlt an jeder zweiten Ecke einen Dönerladen. Ich kann also einen Döner erkennen und beurteilen, wenn ich ihn sehe. Allein schon Berlin und Brandenburg verlassend wird das mit dem Döner innerhalb von Deutschland anders. Je weiter man sich von Berlin entfernt, desto schlechter werden die Döner. In New York entdeckte ich schon vor einiger Zeit den einen oder anderen Anbieter mit dem Versuch, einen Döner zu machen. Bisher konnte ich leider in New York trotz Bezeichnung Döner keinen ordentlichen Döner entdecken. Das was da verkauft wurde, heißt zwar Döner, hatte mit Döner aber recht wenig zu tun und schmeckte noch viel weniger nach einem Döner. Um so mehr dann die Erleuchtung... die Empfehlung eines Freundes in Brooklyn lebend. "German Doner Kebab" in Brooklyn. Und dort dann der erste Döner seit 2018 hier in New York. Ich kann gar nicht beschreiben, wie sehr ich mich gefreut hatte. Es sah aus wie ein Döner, es schmeckte wie ein Döner und kam schon recht nah an einen Döner aus Berlin heran. Richtig gut gemacht. Incl. Tax 12,51 Dollar ist zwar sportlich, aber für New York wiederum preiswert. Die Portion ordentlich und sättigend. Wirklich alles frisch und gut gewürzt. Das Brot genau so wie es sein muss, dünn und knusprig. Also das war seit sehr sehr langer Zeit so ziemlich der beste Döner (mit Ausnahme einem Besuch in Berlin), den ich seit langer Zeit gegessen habe. “I loved it. I came in here yesterday after my graduation because I didn’t have a reservation at the restaurant I was planning to go to. And this spot made me glad I didn’t have that reservation. The bento boxes are only $15 that come with 1 protein, 3 sides, and a few extra vegetables. The boba and tea’s they have are to die for. And they’re so so so kind!!!!!
