“First time I had Indian food was a few years ago in NC, and I was NOT impressed. We were up visiting my sister in Ridgewood and we went out for fathers day dinner at Tabla. We ordered a bunch of different appetizers and entrees and we shared them all. I was absolutely impressed. I totally enjoyed EVERY item. I especially liked the curry fish with coconut milk. The service was exceptional and very friendly, it was an entirely enjoyable experience. I heartily recommend this Indian Restaurant in Ridgewood, NJ.“

“We finally got to check this place out when in the area for a book signing. OMG... EVERYTHING was so delicious. It's all slightly under-seasoned, which is typical of restaurants to remain more neutral, but easily remedied. I was just beyond thankful for all the gluten-free options and versions of the non-gf offerings. I had the gluten-free Country Fried Chick’n, w White Gravy Bowl, Chick'n Parm Hero, and Buffalo Chik'n Mac n Cheese. All of them were SO good and well-made. The sandwich needed no seasoning, but the white gravy was lacking salt and pepper and the mac n cheese was a bit dry and needed more buffalo sauce. Thankfully, I had some extra cheese sauce and buffalo sauce at home. I may have to buy extra cheese sauce from there next time we order. All of the flavors I wanted were there, overall. My husband had the regular versions of the Sausage, Peppers & Onions Hero, Kielbasa and Sauerkraut Hero w mustard, Cheesesteak Empanadas, and Corn Bread. He couldn't say enough good things about the sausage sandwiches and declared them the best he's had post AND pre-vegan! He loved the empanadas so much he's going to grab a cheesesteak sub next time. He described the cornbread as fluffy, flavorful, and one of the best he's had. He sliced it in half and topped it with some chili the next day. It took us a few days to get through it all, but it was so worth the big order. I wish there was some tables so you could enjoy it hot and fresh, but it was a nice night and we got some air as we ate outside. The owner was very kind and obviously puts a lot of love and effort into his food. It's 45 minutes away without traffic, but we'll definitely make this a destination from time to time. Absolutely worth it!“

“Have been for takeout and always love the price and quality. We ate in for the first time time week as expected great quality and price but the service left my entire party happy. We felt welcome as a party of 8 celebrating a birthday felt as relaxed as if we were home. Benny our waiter was top notch, attentive, polite and just amazing. “I've been coming here for years and this place is always on point! One of the best local ramen spots in my opinion and VERY affordable for what you get! The staff are always very kind and attentive, and the service is pretty quick depending on how crowded it is. I just wish they stayed open later than 9pm on weekends! Definitely try to pay with cash if you want a free piece of mochi ice cream btw! We shared the pork gyoza for apps ($6.50), then I got the Miso ramen and he got the beef ramen ($12.50 each). You can adjust the level of spiciness too if you'd like, they go from no spicy to super spicy. I have been here a number of times and I always plan on coming back :)“

“I love a speakeasy with a password & a BYOB. The decor was rich in colors and textures. There was something beautiful to look at on every wall! The menu was wonderful! Food was great. I had the Shrimp Fra Diavolo, good portion and the heat was good enough to tickle the taste buds. My wife ordered the Atlantic Salmon it was delicious. The Sparragus were amazing with that incomparable grill taste.
Everybody was very attentive and nice. The outdoor dining was very nice.
Also they have BYB and we got to enjoy a white wine with our meal.
Prices are fair. We definitely will come back again!!!“

“Truly Sichuan catered a party I had for 30 people. Renee the owner made the planning process completely stressless. We had the soup dumplings (all guests agreed the best we ever had) and the rest of the food was fresh and so yummy! Almost everyone asked me where the restaurant was because it was the best Chinese food they ever had. The food, Renee and the rest of the staff makes this one of the best gems in Bergen county!!“
