“Stop the presses!! I found a great new restaurant where artistry trumps slinging hash. It’s Pop Empanada, re-christened Pop Pasta Supper Club on Thursdays and Saturday nights. On those days, Chef Nicolas Pescatore prepares a 6 course meal, and even if you don’t like every course, you will appreciate the artistry and the ambition. Tonight, the courses were 1. celery avocado salad (replacing salmon, which this landlubber doesn’t like), 2. shrimp empanada in a butter curry sauce, 3. pork belly confit, 4. raviolo-soft boiled egg center in a brown butter sage sauce, 5. brisket ragu paccheri pasta, and 6. dessert of frangelica panna cotta key lime shortbread crumble. The cost with tip is around $100 per person plus the cost of your BYOB. We wouldn’t pay that cost often, but it’s a welcome break from the restaurants where kitchen staff show up at 4 PM and are ready to serve at 5pm.“

“I have been coming to this place for a long time (4 years to be exact!). The breakfast menu is my favorite, but I also recommend the lunch and dinner platters that are delicious too! Giselle is the best cook and the delivery guy is a charm. I've never had any bad experiences with my visits here or when I order for delivery. This place is always clean, too.Sometimes they DO get overwhelmed with a lot of customers (because their food is so good!) and you may wait a little longer than usual; but they still work very hard, diligently and follow the CDC health guidelines. “I really like Lucas Sin, so I was expecting this place to be a little more. My expectations aside, the staff was overworked even after 8:30pm, but they were still courteous. I would say this place would still rank much better than Panda Express (there's one down the street), given that this is kind of like a make-your-own type of place (think Sweetgreen, DIGG, etc.) but with a proper Chinese flair (again, contrast with Panda Express).

I would say that the seating area was a little not well-maintained, but you are served with a bowl used for a take-out anyway, so just take it to a place you feel more comfortable eating.

“It’s completely wonderful! That’s for the two times we’ve gone. Expected to keep going. They are attentive, garlic bread is a must! the carbonara was delicious - heavenly. Beer is in a nice cold cup if you prefer it like that. it’s intimate, not too crowded at all. We love it and brought our friends the second time+ it was a birthday; as expected they didn’t disappoint. Most the plates were empty if not almost from being full - bread with pesto and burrata so tasty, the penne pasta. You won’t regret it at least we didn’t think so. Good local find“
