“One of the employees at this location made (my) perfect jersey mikes sandwich order and I am about to call the store and ask for his name because I wanna thank him by name but I didn’t wanna wait to leave this review. I come to this location a lot since I work in the area and they are always good, no complaints. This one employee was so nice too, even tho he had a line and very mean people in front of us, gave us a smile… cool. He finished with “the juice” and asked me if that was good and I said “perfect 👍🏼” because I felt it. I took my sandwich and got stuck in traffic… if you’re a sandwich connoisseur you know what that means. Yup, soggy sandwich. TO MY SURPRISE… I got to my destination and the sandwich was intact, perfect. “WOW!! Love Love Love this little place. lt’s great! First of all, we've been looking for a good burger place in the Union City, WNY, NB area, and it’s been tough, usually they’re mediocre at best, but not this one.
We walked jn and were warmly greeted. Our server was so sweet! She handed us a menu, which looks like an ipad, and there were so many choices, with pictures of the what the food looks like.
My bf and I ordered 2 burgers because we were in a burger mood. I can say that it definitely wasn’t a disappointment! The burgers were juicy, tasty and big! Definitely the Best burger we’ve had in the area.

The place is small, but so charming with all the decor. And they have a TV screen which shows how all the food is prepared. definitely makes you hungry!

Granted, the burgers were messy but definitely worth it! Besides the fact that they give you utensils.

As we were walking out, we ran into one of the owners, And we had to tell him how much we loved the place and the food.

Parriyas is absolutely a great choice for sandwiches and bowls and the wonderful service!

“I got chicken over rice for $12 hands down best deal I’ve had in all of NYC as a foodie. It was my first time experiencing halal food so I asked bunch of questions to the guys at the line and they were very chill; they described all the toppings that I pointed to and gave me a GENEROUS PORTION. Chicken was well seasoned and tender, rice was also seasoned and chickpeas and hummus were decently fresh; everything tasted good even on the next day. This fed me for easily two days! The dish Japchae ( sweet potatoe glass noodle) was a great dish that I always ordered with grilled chicken. It was very tasty with it's own vegetables in the mix. The grilled chicken was always fresh and tasty. Unfortunately, I ordered this same dish and it only has a few slices of red pepper , a few greens. It tasted mostly like a Sriracha noodle. The chicken is not the same. It tasted strange. For one, it isn't the same white meat grilled chicken and even if it's dark meat, the issue was the taste. I'm truly dissatisfied. “I had the Fat Western Boy, and I can EASILY say it is in the Top 3 burgers I have had in my life. Like, eaaaaasily.

The burger was incredible, the mix with the patties, the taste, the cheese… The cheese was godly. I truly enjoyed it, like, a lot. I wish I had bought two of them, or three, or four.

The place is small, yes. Nevertheless you are having a burger. No need to be sitting and talking there for hours.

Nice ambiance with high ceilings and lights. Very rustic and casual. The hot sauce is really hot so be careful. Should have gone with mild or medium. Mind you i do like hot sauce so when i say hot is hot its really is.. But the sauce had a kick to it.

I ordered Chicken over Rice & let me tell you: chicken had such good flavor, the side salad had all the things(tomato, onion, pickle, jalapeño and lettuce), the French fries were deliciously crunchy and the rice was perfectly cooked. They also put a falafel on top- wasn't my favorite falafel but was a nice touch!

However, a friend encouraged me to give it another go, this time with the boneless wings, and I'm so glad I did! The boneless wings were absolutely fantastic—tender, juicy, and perfectly cooked, with the Hot Honey flavor standing out as especially delicious (Garlic-Parm was a show stopper too, but skip the KBBQ). “GERMAN DONER KEBAB - AN ENLIGHTENMENT If you're from Berlin, it feels like there's a kebab store on every other corner. So I can recognize and judge a kebab when I see it. Even just leaving Berlin and Brandenburg, the kebab experience changes within Germany. The further you get away from Berlin, the worse the kebabs get. Some time ago in New York, I discovered one or two places trying to make a kebab. Unfortunately, I have not yet been able to find a proper kebab in New York, despite the name kebab. What was being sold was called a kebab, but had very little to do with a kebab and tasted even less like a kebab. All the more enlightenment then... the recommendation of a friend living in Brooklyn. "German Doner Kebab" in Brooklyn. And then the first kebab there since 2018 here in New York. I can't even describe how happy I was. It looked like a kebab, it tasted like a kebab and came pretty close to a kebab from Berlin. Really well made. Incl. tax 12.51 dollars is a bit steep, but still good value for New York. The portion was good and filling. Everything is really fresh and well seasoned. The bread was just as it should be, thin and crispy. This was pretty much the best kebab I've had in a very, very long time (with the exception of one visit to Berlin). I will definitely go back there again. GERMAN DONER KEBAB - EINE ERLEUCHTUNG Wenn man aus Berlin kommt, hat man gefühlt an jeder zweiten Ecke einen Dönerladen. Ich kann also einen Döner erkennen und beurteilen, wenn ich ihn sehe. Allein schon Berlin und Brandenburg verlassend wird das mit dem Döner innerhalb von Deutschland anders. Je weiter man sich von Berlin entfernt, desto schlechter werden die Döner. In New York entdeckte ich schon vor einiger Zeit den einen oder anderen Anbieter mit dem Versuch, einen Döner zu machen. Bisher konnte ich leider in New York trotz Bezeichnung Döner keinen ordentlichen Döner entdecken. Das was da verkauft wurde, heißt zwar Döner, hatte mit Döner aber recht wenig zu tun und schmeckte noch viel weniger nach einem Döner. Um so mehr dann die Erleuchtung... die Empfehlung eines Freundes in Brooklyn lebend. "German Doner Kebab" in Brooklyn. Und dort dann der erste Döner seit 2018 hier in New York. Ich kann gar nicht beschreiben, wie sehr ich mich gefreut hatte. Es sah aus wie ein Döner, es schmeckte wie ein Döner und kam schon recht nah an einen Döner aus Berlin heran. Richtig gut gemacht. Incl. Tax 12,51 Dollar ist zwar sportlich, aber für New York wiederum preiswert. Die Portion ordentlich und sättigend. Wirklich alles frisch und gut gewürzt. Das Brot genau so wie es sein muss, dünn und knusprig. I tell her I had one for pickup and she shakes her head no and tells me to show her. I show her the confirmation on my phone, and she looks confused and goes to the back. She comes back and tells me to wait about 10 minutes. I already paid so I just decide to wait.
