“If you’re even thinking about sushi… go here. Seriously 🍣
Everything is insanely fresh, the rolls are packed with flavor, and the presentation alone makes it worth it. The staff is super friendly, and the chef is just as welcoming, which makes the whole experience feel even more personal. You can tell they actually care about the food and the experience, not just rushing people in and out.
The vibe is super chill, the staff is friendly, and it’s the kind of place you’ll leave already planning your next visit.
Don’t sleep on this spot definitely one of the best I’ve had in a while.“

“The wait staff was very polite and patient. They gave us ample time to preview the menu. After we placed our orders, the food came to us pretty fast. Food was very good. And the presentation of the dishes were very pretty. I ordered the maki combo it was very good. Sorry, I ate some and I realized I forgot to take a Pic. So part of it was eaten. I would recommend trying out this place. It was a great experience. I want to go back again soon. They also offer take out. But I think sitting at the restaurant, the ambiance is real nice and having the meal there was a great experience.“

“Really nice people and excellent sushi! Cute little place for a date and its byob“

“Definitely one of the most overwhelming and beautiful places that I’ve ever been to try sushi in my whole life, there’s no way to describe how good it was.
We wait a little more of what we expected.
But wait was worth it food was fresh, homemade and delicious, attention it’s def a 1000/10 you feel that you’re in your home, my 5yo daughter mentioned that she was being treated like her grandma treat her (so you can have an idea of how good they were) well, not many words to add.

Definitely coming back even when I have to drive 21 miles to go there“

“This is a brand new, recently opened restaurant and wow did they deliver for first impressions. Food was absolutely incredible. The sushi was fresh and made quickly. I had the volcano roll and the Naruto rainbow row, it was beautiful and delicious. Very good quality cuts and tasted fresh Really impressed by their milk tea as well. We got the original and Taro milk tea and it was fantastic. Staff was also very friendly and helpful in deciding what to order. Would definitely be coming back the next time I’m in town!“

“Avocado Eatery, Sushi And Gyro House (HALAL) is amazing! The food is fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. They have a great variety of options, from sushi to gyros, and everything I’ve tried has been really good. I also love that the food is Halal. The portions are generous, the service is friendly, and the overall experience is excellent. Definitely one of my favorite places to eat. Highly recommended!“

“This is a long time coming! I actually moved here years ago from Hudson County and I was on the hunt for good sushi. This place is it! I only have come in once, every other time I order on Uber eats because I’m lazy tbh. It ALWAYS slays, they do a fantastic job! Best sushi ever! I honestly make up reasons to order this sushi. Good hair day? Ohmysushi. Got out of bed? Ohmysushi. Just a nice day out! Ohmysushi. Fantastic work here, very tasty, fresh and clean. I recommend this place to my friends and friends who visit NJ, it’s a top spot for sure! Thank you for always being great! Even if I move states or locations, I might just get a flight to buy this sushi, or drive hours.“

“This is my favorite place ever. The best sushi, the best ramen, the best edamame. I’ve never had better than in here. Every time the food comes quick and it’s absolutely amazing. The servers are also so nice. I’m always happy to come in. Thank you Kinya!“

The Goyza dumplings probably the best I've ever had, and that Toro just melted in your mouth. We found our sushi spot in the area! Can't wait to come back and try more dishes.“

“WOW is the word I would use for this place. My buddy ordered takeout and this Special Roll Combo was delicious. 7 rolls each equally delicious. As you could emagine a little expensive but for what you get GREAT VALUE for your $$$. Easily could feed 3 people.“

“After a gig nothing better than sushi snack“

“Had a great time. Food was excellent.“

“Hands-down the best sushi in NJ, and probably the tri-state area, including NYC. I worked in NYC for 15 years and this place is superior to any sushi restaurants I went to.“

“We love Tempura Place! We go probably weekly and often order platters for parties. They know us by name and are very friendly with us. We have friends of friends who rave about the party platters we bring. The food is fresh & delicious!“

“This is our local go-to for sushi and hibachi. The food is excellent, staff is friendly and efficient. We mostly order to go, but the restaurant itself is small but cozy with tables and a sushi bar. I'll also add that, in 7 years of ordering from them, they have not gotten a single item on any order wrong. Definitely worth trying.“

“WHAT A COMEBACK!!! Seriously, I’m SO happy I came back!

I have to be honest — the last time I was here, I left feeling pretty sad because the food and service had really gone downhill. It was honestly disappointing because I remembered how good everything was when they first opened. So I came back this time with somewhat low expectations… and WOW, was I pleasantly surprised!

The food was INCREDIBLE. Not just “good” — I mean SO GOOD. Everything was fresh, flavorful, beautifully prepared, and honestly even better than I remembered it being when they first opened, which is saying A LOT because they were already good back then!

But the biggest surprise was the service. Maria Eduarda, our bartender, and Pedro, our server, were absolutely EXCEPTIONAL. They went above and beyond — and then somehow found a way to go a little further . They were attentive without being overbearing, genuinely friendly, incredibly helpful, and made us feel like they actually cared about making sure we had the best experience possible.

You could really feel the difference from the moment we walked in. It felt like the restaurant had found its spark again — except now the quality is even better than it was when they first opened!

I left this time not only full, but genuinely happy and relieved that this place is back to being somewhere I’m excited to come to.

A HUGE shoutout to Maria Eduarda and Pedro — you two absolutely made our experience! You did everything and MORE to make sure we were taken care of, and it definitely did not go unnoticed.

Whatever you guys are doing now — KEEP DOING IT! The food is amazing, the service is fantastic, and the whole experience was exactly what I hoped it would be.

I’ll definitely be coming back — and next time, I’m bringing an even bigger appetite!“

“I've been coming here on-off for about 3 years, I think? It's a lovely, quiet place. I'm rarely in the mood for sushi but from my occasional hunt, the bulgogi roll lured me here. And the simple atmosphere & excellent service made me come back again, and again. Although I don't have many pictures of my dining or pickups from here, I highly recommend the bulgogi or pink salmon special (seared roll)

Pictured below is my recent order of tuna tataki (seared tuna) and a simple rice-out veggie roll, with green tea 🍵“

“Good spot for sushi! I ordered takeout and loved the spicy California roll—finally, a sushi spot that gets the spice just right! The atmosphere looked inviting, with live music playing and a cozy dine-in setup. I’ll definitely be stopping by again!

The best part is you get a free appetizer with any order of $25 and up.“

“The food is top notch. From the soup to the sushi. Even the ice cream is delicious. What really bothers me though is the service. There is a 90 minute time limit which I get but when you are rushed to get out by an hour that’s not right. Also when you’re hounding tables waiting to literally take a plate because you have nothing else to do that’s a problem. Finally when you’re coming up to tables and asking them for platters back because you don’t have enough supposedly that’s not good either. Last night I was hounded constantly. Twice I had people tell me to move my sushi to my paper plate because they needed the platter. May I suggest buying more platters. Love the food and yes I know I’ll be back but the service was ridiculous in your face. Don’t come here for date night because they don’t leave you alone“

“Always as expected. I usually come here after work when I don’t feel like cooking.“

“fresh... fresh... fresh... we love this place!“

“A friend and myself came across this gem by happenstance. The wait staff is incredibly kind and patient. The atmosphere was calming and the food is FANTABULOUS!!! I recommend this place for lunch and dinner. Whether it's just friends or a casual date.“

“I highly recommend this establishment. The food is always delicious, arrives hot, and is delivered very quickly when ordering directly. The staff are some of the friendliest people around, and the portions are generous. You truly can’t go wrong with this place. Yum!!!“

“The sushi is fresh and delicious. The staff is friendly and hospitable. Thank you Mike for being a great server today.“

“Had a great first experience at Sushi Zero! We came around 5 p.m. on a Wednesday, so we had the restaurant to ourselves. We ordered 5–6 regular and specialty rolls, and every single one was fresh and delicious. The service was friendly, and we'll definitely be back!“

“Good healthy food with your choice of options“

“Look at this other review down here lol It's sushi from a grocery store, that's made and packed. What do you expect? A master sushi chef straight from Tokyo, or Fukuoka, or Hokaido, sitting in Shoprite taking orders? They make good sushi when it's just made. You eat sushi that's been sitting in your fridge for even an hour, it's not as good as fresh, but still good.“

“Woman who takes orders is absolutely the worst. It’s my birthday she won’t even give a single smile or have any sense of being personable. You need to replace her or your reputation is gonna go down the drain. Ruined my birthday lunch. I had a feeling she might be awful every day cause this has happened before so we called ahead to warn it was my birthday and they assured we should come. Regret it! Seriously get rid of her!!!!!!“

“This place is fantastic, the taste is good, the service is friendly, the atmosphere is great. I'll come again next time.“

“Uff lo mejor en sushi! Fresco y relajante. 😁“

“Dozo Sushi has the best service and incredibly fresh food! Not only do we celebrate all our family birthdays there, but we also find their takeout option very convenient. What impresses me the most is that Shirley remembers our allergies and always gives us the best recommendations. We can't recommend this place enough!“

“muy buena la comida recomendable!!!!!!“
