“Here's the review Spencer wrote for you: My family and I just visited to celebrate my grandsons birthday- we like to get a bunch of plates and share family style and this menu was perfect for that. You have to get mezze and extra bread (must try the kubane). We also ended up getting three orders of the shishbarak for the six of us, it is way too good! I got the salmon for my entree which was cooked to perfection and beautifully seasoned. Spencer our server recommended the silan and the cheesecake for dessert so we shared those and boy were they something special- I can’t pick a favorite! He brought us a candle and we got some great pictures. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough.“

Bar area is beautiful and the bartenders are very profesional and friendly. Ordered 2 salads, chicken Parmesan with the vodka sauce, and their signature pizza which was a feast for the 4 of us. This is a great spot pre or post show. Highly recommend.“

“I wasn't going to share this place with anyone because I don't want it to get crowded but I have to bc I love it so much. Presenting my new watering hole in Bergen! The location is where the old 21 used to be, on the top floor of the Son Jjajang building. Great happy hour everyday 4-8!! It's a steal considering how good the food is. Happy hour all types of soju are $8.99 and beers are cheap too. All the big dishes on the happy hour menu are between $14-$18 and I think the portion sizes are the same! I have yet to try something that I don't love on the menu. Their: Cheese buldak (fire chicken w/ mozzarella cheese.. ask for medium spicy if you can't do heat!) Jogae sujebi (Korean version of.. gnocchi? in clam broth..I always order another side of sujebi) Donkatsu (breaded & fried pork cutlet) Tofu & kimchi Ddukbokki (spicy rice cakes... I usually ask for cheese on this also lol) Tong dak (whole fried chicken) Gaeran mari (Korean cheese omlette w/ fried garlic on top) Budae jjigae (Korean army soup, goes great with soju!) and weirdly enough their giant plate of FRIES (idk what they do to those fries they're just fries but they're so good lol) are among some of my favorites. However, the food tends to be on the spicier side which isn't an issue for me, but if you can't handle too much spice be sure to tell your waiter. I can't say enough about how good the food is. The chef apparently refuses to use anything but the best ingredients and it shows in the taste of the food. Portions are big too! Obviously I eat here a lot... lol Oh and the servers and manager are all so nice!! One time we had a big party of 10 but they didn't have space so they put us in their only karaoke room in the back. We wanted to watch the US Open but we couldn't figure out the TV in the room so the manager found an HDMI cable and hooked his own cellphone up to it so we could watch. How sweet?!! At the moment they only serve soju and beer but I have been told that they will start offering liquor soon :) Like I said, I don't want this place to get crowded but they deserve the business with food and service like this. I hope they stick around and become a new staple in Pal Park! PS. The menu is entirely in Korean so bring a friend who is fluent or ask the waiters for suggestions! I will definitely have to mention to them that they should make an English version of their menu. Will be back with pictures later!“

“Come for the trivia stay because it's a really awesome place to be. E's Bar is preeeetttty awesome and quite a good size to be able to have a good time! The drinks are reasonably priced and the Tres Fish Tacos are BOMB. I appreciate the fact that they choose to be a sustainable bar with their LED lighting and purchasing of carbon offsets. It's hard for bars to reduce their environmental impact so any step matters. It always seems like everyone's having a good time here- not trashy at all, just a good neighborhood bar. And they have theme nights too which is fun.“

“I made a reservation for a post marathon group and Amity Hall Uptown hit it out of the park!

My group as a little late, and they accommodated without missing a beat, switching us to a larger table once the whole crew arrived after a delay.

Big shout out to the staff: front of house, to the wait staff to the runners/kitchen and bartenders (and the DJ, for all the marathon runner shout outs) The food was good and the dinks was cold.“

“Love this place. I am here for work and just wanted to have a chill night. It is Monday at 9:20 PM and they have live music! The ambiance is amazing, and the bartender Nathaniel makes some fantastic drinks! He checked on me multiple times to ensure I was good and liked the drink. The espresso martini is to die for! I can tell they use real espresso and not just liqueur. If I were local this would be my go-to place, but for now it is where I will be coming to when I’m in town and I’ll be sure to recommend it to my colleagues who travel up here and the ones who live in the area. “Easily the most relaxed, down-to-earth, cozy bar in the city. I brought my dog here often when I lived across town -- dog and family-friendly. Beer is always high quality and the bartenders are just beyond wonderful. (Shoutout to Geoff, Hannah, Joe, and Bear!) Highly recommend going in on the first Monday of the month, where you can catch a great jazz night. I've since moved to Philly but am moving back and when I do, you'll know where I'll be on a Saturday. :)“

“I am not really big on writing reviews (since the reader can never be sure if they are “real”), but I have to make an exception with the Blackbird Pub and restaurant, in Cliffside Park New Jersey.
The moment you walk in the door, you are greeted and made to feel welcome, as if you are an old friend, not a “walk-in”. That high level of attention continues throughout the visit. You literally never have to ask for a beverage re-fill, the staff cheerfully graciously stays one step ahead of you all the time.
Regarding the food, The Blackbird offers a nice variety of appetizers, sandwiches, and the like. While I have not tried everything on the menu, I can definitely say that the various hamburger options are all superb, as are the wings, with five varieties of sauces, (hot honey, garlic, barbecue, buffalo, garlic, parmesan, and sweet chili Thai).
Prices are reasonable; the crowd is always genial and mellow, and the owner and staff are warm, friendly, and frankly an interesting group of characters with entertaining stories to tell.
I highly recommend that you give The Blackbird Pub and Restaurant a try. You will be glad that you did.“

It feels more home than home. the staff is top notch, cocktails are always top tier, prices are very reasonable, atmosphere is relaxed, and customers are diverse, interesting, and generally friendly. On the very rare occasions I have seen customers act inappropriately, the staff intervened quickly and appropriately. “I've always loved Dingbatz as a patron. My experiences there have always always been positive ones. The food (across the street at Dingos) is top notch and fairly priced and I've never had poor service at the bar. It ONLY loses one star because I have had many friends (and bands) who have Not had good experiences there, and sometimes that varies greatly depending on who is working the shift and what kind of mood they are in at the time. But I always try to encourage bands to play here - the stage is SMALL and there's no green room but unless you're a bunch of pretentious jerks, the staff WILL take care of you, and your fans will be grateful for the up close and more personal experience that you simply cannot get at big venues.“
