“Sometimes all you need is a couple tacos and something crispy fresh out the fryer, and Los Gueros absolutely delivered. The tacos came loaded with juicy meat, fresh pico, avocado, and that perfect balance where nothing overpowers the other. Messy in the best way possible.

The flautas stole the show though — crunchy, packed with filling, and ridiculously satisfying dipped into the sauce on the side. You can tell this is the kind of place people keep in rotation because the food feels comforting without trying too hard.

No gimmicks, no overcomplicated menu, just flavorful Mexican food done right. Perfect spot for a quick bite, takeout night, or when you’re craving something that actually hits. Saddle Brook definitely needed a spot like this.

“Great place! The chorizo tacos were really good, great portion and price. Their homemade habanero sauce was so good and spicy! My dad had the chuleta de cerdo with rice and beans and said it was also great so definitely check this place out. “We recently held a family reunion at El Mesón Español, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, taking the time to explain the menu and answer all of our questions. The food was outstanding—every dish was cooked to perfection. “Excited to eat at Mi Familia Restaurant. The food is Authentic and flavorful! I've been coming here for so many years. As you walk in your are greeted immediately, the staff are very attentive. I was there last week ordered white rice with beans oxtail and barbeque pork spare ribs. Food was delicious!!! Not to mention this is where I get my churrasco (skirt steak) with tostones and freshly squeeze orange juice. Stop by Mi Familia Restaurant and enjoy some Dominican Soul Food!!“

I didn’t know what to expect because the prices are so low and you just don’t see that anymore, the chicken combo was only $9. The portions are generous and even though some of it is deep fried NONE of it is greasy. Will definitely stop by next time to try more dishes.“

“The chicharones at this location is absolutely the best around the area. My first time there they made sure I was well taken care of. They even went above and beyond by cooking new pieces of pork for me so that they can be fresh. The pieces of pork was just right with the right amount of meat and fat. Usually places I’ve tried had so much fat that I don’t get to enjoy the chicharones but not this location.“

“The decor at this morsel of Costa Rican culture is aesthetically pleasing and if you’re in the area, this is one of the better Tico spots. We watched Costa Rica beat Paraguay in a Copa America game while eating pupusas, un Casado and Tacos Ticos and totally hit the spot. Especially since they served some salsa Lizano on the side.“
