“Today was our second time getting take out, ordered two different dishes and both were excellent as were the two we got a week ago. They "get it" when it comes to balanced flavor, variety of veggies and even the way they cut them with a special slicer was perfect. Truly Thai is now our go-to Thai food destination. I hope it doesn't change and they keep up this quality.”

“So for food we decided to order the corn bread, Mac & Cheese, Burnt ends and brisket cheesesteak.

The corn bread was awesome. So fluffy and full of flavor.

The Mac and cheese was delicious. I found myself adding a piece of burnt ends along with it, and you couldn’t go wrong.

The burnt ends were the star of the show. Incredible flavor and were nice and tender.

The only somewhat disappointing item was the cheesesteak. It was good but not something I probably would order again.

“I thought it was a drive through only place, but they have a beautiful dining area. Anyway, I ordered with their website for pick up but I got there 5 min later and waited another 4. Holy moly, it was just like I remembered from the early 2000s when I ate Charlie's for lunch every day like an animal. Everything was fresh. Chipoltle Chicken Cheesesteak and the fries were spot on Charlie's fries. Crispy outside, fluffy potato inside. I give 5 star mostly because it was very clean on the inside, the food was delicious, and the woman at the counter was super nice.”

“** Stopped in today while I was out running errands to pick up a slice of their delicious Sicilian to go. I have to say it's the first time that I'm disappointed. An elderly man was pulling the slice with his bare hands onto a plate to put in a bag and then took my cash and gave me change and bills back. I wish he would have worn gloves if he's going to be touching money and then touching the pizza I'm going to be eating.**
Everything is delish from the drinks, appetizers, dinners, desserts! The best bloody mary's, clams casino, appetizer and the prime rib entree melts like butter, the mashed potatoes and gravy are amazing, and I usually don't like mashed. The tortoni dessert is delish, and the cappuccino too ! And if you want pizza, I suggest the Sicilian slice it's great !”

“8/8/25 - There's a pizza shop in Parlin, NJ called Pizza Heaven. I took my son there about 15 years ago. The pizza was pretty good but the place was a complete dump. Worn out dining area. Dirty tables. And the deathknell, it was completely empty. \n\nFast forward to 2025.... the place has a new owner and a brand new dining area. And it's wonderful! The pizza is in the neopolitan style. It's crispy and flavorful. The cheese tastes premium. Great sauce. The sausage is not cut-rate. They have completely turned this place around. And the dining room had a lot of people in it enjoying the food. If you are in the Parlin area, it's definitely worth your time. \n\nSo my daughter told me that I need to start rating these places. I hesitate to do so because I dont want to be compared to that other guy who in my opinion is a complete nasal drip. I review places for one reason.... out of love for the products. I love stadiums. I love arenas. And most of all, I love food. So I'm not doing this for clicks but to give my friends and family a roadmap of places to visit and my experiences with these places. \n\nSo Pizza Heaven gets a solid B+”

“This was our first time dining at Bello's and the place was clean and family friendly. We ordered fried mushrooms which were previously frozen and not very good and I had the buffalo wings which were average with little flavor. We both had a salad which was good and then a bar pie and eggplant parmesan which was good.”

“9/8/25 - Another Monday night and the family wanted Chinese again. And that means another night I didn't get to go to my regular place.\n\nTonight, we did take out from a place in Sayreville, NJ called New Lams Garden. One of the things about living in this area is that there's no shortage of great places to pick up a meal and this absolutely applies to Chinese food. \n\nLams is a little bit further out than my regular place but the quality here may make me want to travel the extra miles. \n\nI ordered Beef and Bean Curd with a pork egg roll and got in on a few steamed pork dumplings too. \n\nThe Beef and Bean Curd was perfectly cooked. The vegetables they used were all cooked perfectly. They were all drenched in a delectable brown sauce and snapped when you bit them. The egg roll was a bit greasy but more meaty than the ones that are usually available in this area. Appreciated! And the dumplings are clearly the ones are prepared on site and not just bought from a wholesaler. And I LOVE that. \n\nMy daughter ordered chicken lo mein. You can just tell by the color of the dish how awesome it tasted. \n\nSo yes I still have a solid Chinese place that I will return to and review. But in the mean time, New Lams Garden is more than just an adequate substitute. \n\nPoints were deducted for clunky website with no ability to order online.\n\nOverall Rating: A-\n\nPS--- best thing about Chinese food is LEFTOVERS! I will enjoy this meal at least twice more in the coming days.”

“We went there after a concert. Just a regular "corner bar" filled with the locals. Everyone was super friendly, took us under their wing for the couple hours we were there.”

“It would be easy to overlook this place. It’s buried way in the back of a strip mall. The interior ambience isn’t anything to brag about, either. Yet it is a true gem with amazing food at good prices and excellent service. My wife and I each ordered pizzas. She got the 12” Chicken Pesto and I ordered the 12” Meat Lover’s. Both came out promptly. It was amazing, the best pizza I’ve had in years. I can’t say too many good things about it. Everything was in perfect harmony, a symphony of umami and cheese. Meatballs, sausage, bacon. It had it all. Each bite a delight. My wife also loved her pizza. We stopped in on a Monday on the way up north for a show. There were a few tables occupied but I would imagine it probably gets busy on weekends. Even so, I would make a point of stopping in here again next time I’m passing through the area at dinner time.”
