“My favorite to go place. I call in every morning and they have my order ready to go. Perfect place to get the best protein shakes, salads and regular food. Very clean environment and friendly staff.Dietary restrictions: They accommodate to everyone’s likings.Parking: Street and private parkingKid-friendliness: They have kid friendly foods.“
“Food was so good. We had 2 Tacos de Birrias, 2 Tacos Al Pastor, and 4 Tacos Jalapeños. I loved the Al Pastor and my husband loved the Jalapeños. It's a small place, but so clean. There were only two people behind the counter, but they were so courteous and you could tell take pride in the food they make. We also drank El jugo de tamarindo and it was perfect. Not too sweet, not too bitter. We went there strictly because of their high rating online, and they deserve every star they have.“
“I don’t have the greatest picture to show it, but I ordered their Jal Mex wrap and finished it so fast I didn’t have time to take a good picture lol. Seriously delicious food!! The staff was also sooo nice, we had a great time chatting with the ladies in there. We’ll definitely come back to try more of this awesome menu!“
“I'm always on the lookout for a new lunch spot, saw this place had good reviews so we took a shot last week and were not disappointed! Our sandwiches were absolutely jammed with meat, so much so that I took my chips to go. Good food and friendly people, but not much to look at, and only a few tables inside. We definitely will be visiting again!“
“This hands down is the best deli in New Jersey, the staff is incredible and beyond friendly, now speaking of the sandwich are top notch! From the breads to the meats and condiments, I highly recommend coming here and getting yourself any sandwich. I can guarantee you it beats any sub shops around!“
“My second experience was even better than the first ? I was actually looking for a different eatery with similar names. I ended up @ Touch of Italy ??,. And it was the right choice. I ordered the Apple ? salad, which was excellent. Thanks again for the great food and the great conversation ?“
“My son and I stopped in on Thursday of last week, on a whim, after picking up some items from the dollar store a few doors down. I had heard good things about the food, from my friend, who owns Pro Braids next to Irvington Post Office. My son ordered a turkey and cheese sub. He is a picky eater( with new restaurants). But he enjoyed the sandwich a lot. I am sure we will be back again. Good size portion and Halal!!Cannot get any better than that.Good addition to the neighborhood!“
“Had the pleasure of stopping into Iorio Deli with friends Eric from Cultinary Road Trip and Tyler from Foodula. Had the chance to meet “The Boss” Gilda and her son Joe as well as the rest of the very friendly and helpful staff here. We tried a plethora of things so this may take a minute haha.Started off with two stuffed breads - A Reuben as well as a Pepperoni roll. The Reuben had a great flavor and the bread itself was tasty. It was slightly odd in my mind to eat a Reuben without grilled rye, but I enjoyed this. The pepperoni stuffed bread was also good and was even better with the addition of some sauce (they called it gravy and I thought I was in trouble haha). After that we were hit with some delicious Italian items including their house made meatballs, Italian sausage and peppers, and chicken Parmesan. The meatballs were just rated #1 in Central Jersey and #2 in the entire state of NJ at the Pizza Bowl a few months back. I could see why. Very tender, perfectly seasoned, and again that sauce/gravy was killer. To be honest though, I may have enjoyed the sausage even more! I mentioned how I didn’t get hit with that typical overwhelming pop from fennel seed and Joe said they make it with ground fennel so the flavor is still there but it’s not so in your face. I loved, and I mean loved, this sausage. The chicken parm was also very good but I had a small piece because I knew what was coming next!We finished off by trying two sandwiches that Iorio is well known for. The first was “The Jocelyn” which was a roast beef and Swiss melt on an onion roll, and the second was “The Sloppiest Joe” which was a North NJ staple “sloppy joe” but in epic proportions. The Jocelyn had good flavor and the onion roll was a nice touch and change of pace. The sloppiest Joe is sitting inside the top 3 I’ve had probably ever. The meats were freshly sliced and piled high, the rye was super fresh, and the Cole slaw had get flavor and added welcomed creaminess to the sandwich. As if there was any doubt at all - Iorio Deli in Roselle Park, NJ - Didn’t Suck!“
“Heard NJ had some good Italian delis so was in the search for one nearby this weekend and it was a pretty good find. Very homey vibes as soon as you walk in. Staff was friendly. We were the only ones there upon arrival, less than an hour before closing on a Saturday afternoon but shortly after they had a mini rush and some locals picking up a catering order. We ordered a half and full but the half was a decent size so don't be fooled. Two sandwiches, a lasagna roll up and two bevs was about $31 total, I would say pretty affordable. I would return and maybe create my own. The Italian was delicious, def recommend. I got the Chicken Avocado BLT, tasty but not sure I like the fried avocado. Some fresh avocado, cheese and maybe a pesto would've knocked it out the park for me! They also have some frozen items you can take home. Good start to my search for an Italian deli.“
“Lovely food and outstanding service. Everyone is so kind and sweet there. They have great vegetarian options too. I always order cali bagel which is my fav off the menu. I also recently tried their crispy potato sandwich, its sooooo good! I love this place! everyone should definitely check it out!“
“Had an awesome meal with my girlfriend at the deli last weekend. Cranford crack didn’t disappoint and I’m still thinking about the chicken cutlet! Dominic came to sit and chat with us and Joanie was the belle of the ball. Such a great experience. Can’t wait to bring my son and husband back.“
“This little local spot is a gem. Family owned. Small, worn in a good way. Counter seating. All made here. Super reasonable pricing.Very friendly staff and management.I had an eggplant sandwich on a roll. This was a long roll and could have easily fed two. What a great little spot!“
“Best Taylor ham egg and cheese around. I told the owner I traveled 3,000 miles to try this place. He said if you don't like it for whatever reason, we'll make it again! The service was excellent and classic Jersey vibes. I will come here again when I visit town. I highly recommend this place.“
“What is not to like about this place?Warning: if you have a shopping list or have an idea of what you are planning to buy, try to stick with it. Otherwise, you will end up buying much more ?Their meatballs are so good that they don't last more than a day.Their sandwiches are great as well and with one you even have enough for 2 meals. The only item that is not my favorite is their mozzarella cheese, which I find too salty. But if you mix it with mushrooms you can make great quesadillas.“
“Delicious sandwiches (my favorite: pastrami with everything!) and juices. Very friendly staff, clean atmosphere and very well priced! I only found out about this place back in December 2023, by a coworker and ever since then; call in my breakfast and by 6:15 a.m., when I stop in; my food's ready, fresh and hot! This place is AWESOME!!!“
“Went in for a rubin, but the bakery forgot to deliver rye bread. No problem at all. Got a half a sub..which I stop eating for yrs. It was perfect amount of everything, plus the bread was. After talking with the owner, found out her father owned the deli in the 80's. When I worked on the road crew , this was the 1st stop for lunch , when in the area. Very nice and happy atmosphere.“
“Great little deli. Best sloppy Joe's in Summit maybe the entire area. Great staff fast and kind. They can crank it out. You know it's good when you keep running into police officers. All old school recipes. You really have to try the brothers out“
“Mermaid?♀️ is amazing how this tiny place is able to pack in all its inventory and customers day in and day out. What’s even more amazing is how much competition they have within a 2 mile radius and it is thriving. The real testament on how well they do, the quality of their cooked foods and the selection it has to offer. It is a bustling hub of culinary delights within the Polish community. Renowned for their prepared lunch counter, the spotlight shines on this culinary delight where I have seen the queue 5-10 people deep. Do not forget the delectable dessert case- it’s a sweet haven. The perpetual buzz of activity extends beyond the store, spilling into the ever-busy parking lot. Dziękuję Syrena ?? “
“Just "discovered" this little gem of the store. Small place but they have everything Polish a food connoisseur might want. Their pierogis were delicious and smoked kabanosy very devoured by the family as soon as they arrived home. Yummmy!“
“These are the BEST quesabirria tacos I have EVER had! They taste like home ?? tacos come with cheese and a very delicious consume. It was not too salty nor too watery, but a perfect consistency. The carne was seasoned to perfection, and it was a nice amount. They were not cheap with the portions! You get 3 nice big tacos. This is definitely a Hidden Gem in the East Coast ! Restaurant is extremely clean and staff is really friendly. You have to give them a try!“
“Great local deli and my go to lunch spot. Neris is super affordable and their quality and portions are amazing. Every sandwich and soup I’ve had is always great and never disappoints. The staff is always friendly as well. If you’re looking for a quick lunch with great service and prices this is your spot.“
“Above everything, the service is wonderful. The staff is pleasant and patient with your questions (especially if you are unfamiliar with polish food or language). I do not hesitate to ask about the various sausages hanging over the counter or the assortment of dishes in the cooler. I have never had anything I didn't like here, though we love the pierogi's, especially the sauerkraut and mushroom, the kielbasa and kolbanosi, and the cabbage rolls (golumbki, halupki, Toltott Kaposzta etc..). We even recently bought sliced ham (like for sandwiches) and it was amazing, think sliced ham from your holiday ham, not the over processed stuff at the grocery store deli counter. Their sign doesn't lie, stop in, polish food is good!“
“It's a lovely place excellent customer service. Service with a smile, very professional excellent mannerism, sandwich I love the most is the a t m with spinach, with no salt. Sooo good. I figure I try it once, second time maybe it will have a different taste, no fourth, fifth one just as good as the first.Vegetarian options: Sandwich I order, excellent ??“
“We’ve gotten multiple takeout sandwiches and hot dinners, and the food is always amazing. The catering is excellent too, with Angie being very accommodating and easy to work with for a large party. Their grocery selection of Italian specialties is also top notch. Highly recommended!“
“Small local restaurant, Just started working in the area recently so I decided to stop in for breakfast this morning. Ended up getting the cheese steak it was absolutely delicious and had an excellent price. I will be returning to try other things on the menu.“
“Classic "hole-in-the-wall" homestyle deli with amazing food: you can tell that LOVE is the main ingredient in everything they make. Best Steak, Egg, and Cheese sandwich I've EVER had in 50+ years. 10/10 if you're looking for friendly service and a reasonably priced meal. And they just got a new AC unit!“
“Jimmy provided the food for our family and friends after my husband's funeral. Everything was excellent. He went out of his way to accomodate us and made sure everything was set up and ready for us when we arrived from the funeral. Wonderful people to work with and prices were reasonable.“
“Our favorite Italian Gourmet Delicatessen!!Wide variety of sandwiches, salads and hot entrees! The best Brooklyn bread!Enjoy getting cold cuts especially their imported Italian Prosciutto! We always get their fresh mozzarella balls, roasted red peppers and olive salad. We enjoy the feast at home!Highly recommend!“
“Very good but with one surprising disappointment. I got a Rueben sandwich and it had a nice amount of meat and all the normal toppings but instead of the sandwich being grilled it seemed like the bread was just lightly toasted and the cheese melted some but the bread ended up being soggy. Maybe this is just how they do a Rueben but I prefer when the bread is buttered and the sandwich grilled such that that bread gets brown and crispy. The place is clean and tidy and they have many deli options that are hard to find these days, but I just could not get over my non grilled sandwich.“
“Once in awhile you come across a business owner who takes enormous pride in their products, and makes them as though they are making it for their own family. I called Cioffi's and got Jerry the owner, who helped make my friend's birthday extra special by honoring my request for a heart-shaped pizza to be delivered to his house on his birthday. Jerry was in on it from the moment I explained what I wanted, as excited and joyful about the surprise as I hoped our friend would be! He was excited about our idea, excited for my friend, and excited to play his part in the whole thing. He even sent me texts as he was preparing it and just before he gave it to the delivery guy. I am so grateful for such a well executed (and delicious!!!!) surprise. Thank you, Jerry!!! Stay YOU!!“
“This is a great place, if you are looking for fresh produce at great prices. Their quality is great and have specials every week, which make your trip to Green Olive worth its time. The staff is also great, keeping up the price tags in place and fresh inventory on the shelves for customers to pick from. Love it ?“
“Fantastic breakfast and lunch offerings. The deli meats are always fresh and they make really delicious empanadas that are made daily. They also make homemade soup every day. The cuban sandwich special on Wednesdays is my favorite thing and i would highly recommend it.“
“Stopped by to pick up pierogies i ordered the day before. Ended up buying some noodles and cabbage and chicken prapriska (spelling?) pre-made in the back fridge and some kielbasa. So far ate the chicken prapriska and noodles and cabbage and will definitely be going back for more! Man, how i miss those!“
“Great polish food. I live 45min away and stop here for pierogis whenever in the area. From potato and cheese, to mushroom and even blueberry these are all best around. Also tried bean stew which is amazing. Bigos or hunter stew I guess is great ! Traditional dishes are also phenomenal around holidays. The bread is always fresh and probably best in the whole region. This is the place to shop if you're into this type of food.“
“This place is the best deli I have ever been to! The sandwich I ordered was delicious and sooo fresh, definitely recommend coming here if you want an authentic deli sandwich. Also the owner was so nice and welcoming I will definitely be a repeat customer whenever I get the chance to be back in the New Jersey area!“
“The two gentlemen behind the counter were very pleasant. They have a decent menu selection. For the most part, it does not matter if you get a half or a whole sub because you’re not getting a deal by getting the whole sub. Example: most half subs are $7.99 whereas the whole sub is $15.99. There are a few where the whole sub gives you a $.50 savings. Today I did get a cheesesteak with extra provolone cheese, onions, hot peppers and a special hot sauce that they make. I’m glad I got the extra cheese because it definitely needed that and the condiments that were on there were very good. The meat itself didn’t taste like anything special but it wasn’t bad. It seems all of their cold cuts are Thummann’s which is high-quality. I do believe that the cheesesteak sub needed more meat. The meat itself did not even cover the bread end to end. One one end of the sub there was nothing but the bread by about 1.5” and 2” of nothing at the other end. So about 3.5 inches of the 16 inch sub was just bread. In all reality, I believe you are better off going with a half cheesesteak and double everything so you get a full sandwich with half of the bread. I cannot speak for any other sandwich as this is the first time I was there and the only item that I did purchase, as far as the entrée goes. I did get a small thing of potato salad, which was some store-bought stuff just scooped into little containers that was just meh. My meal of a cheesesteak, small potato salad and a Diet Coke can came to just over $20.“
“Nice deli and grill in middlesex, easy to find with plenty of parking. Menu is huge and the staff was very friendly, the specials were very well priced. Counter and table service available. I went with the super Italian which was delicious and good size for the price. Will definitely be back to try more“
“Bomb ass food. Had an appt nearby and decided to check in. Ordered shrimp tacos and grilled chicken with rice/peppers. Simple dishes but they perfected it. Lorena was sweet and attentive. The place gives that authentic feel - I really felt like I was in Mexico! Everyone was under 4ft, the decor was Mexican-esque and the music was perfectly aligned. Would return for sure!!“
“All star deli! Great sandwich spot whether you want a hand crafted turkey and cheese or a fresh bacon egg and cheese right off the grill. Their donuts and bakery selection is fresh and had that authentic old school bakery vibe. Excellent customer service and always clean inside and out. Great addition to the neighborhood! Definitely a spot worth checking out.“
“I know the owner here and she's actually selling her business this was a great business she used to work it with her husband but her husband passed away and it's become a little bit too much for her to deal with by herself so please try to support her before she leaves and go and have some food there it's excellent“
“Went here for a quick lunch and found the staff friendly and extremely nice. Ordered a wrap and was told to grab a drink and sit down. Ordered a buffalo chicken wrap and it was one of the best wraps I've had, not over sauced, right amount of cheese and lettuce. Definitely recommend.“
“Lovely family run Deli with a commitment to high quality food the liver pate aka salad is to die for. The sandwiches are lean cut delicious, they have make your own salad and the portions are large. There are a thousand things I want to try on their menu will be a regular customer for sure. I had the white Russian with the 3 salads yesterday and the wrecker a few weeks ago. Their food is super good take a trip to see them today!Vegetarian options: They have a lot of vegetables, roasted vegetables they have lots of different salad options they have salads they have bagels have smoked fish For people who eat fish and their vegetarian diet, they have egg salad for people who continue to eat eggs, but they do have vegan options also and pickled salads are good.Dietary restrictions: Their menu is huge. I’m sure you can find something if you’re on a diet they even have roasted cauliflower lots of pickles. And everything‘s custom-made so you can ask in advance, and they’ll be happy to obligeKid-friendliness: They have a video game there to play and tv“
“I believe the management has changed and i must say i am very happy with this store service now a days. Specially they added their own website where i can order my food in advance and i don't have to wait anymore in the line.. Inside of the store looks beautiful and new mebu board is stunning. I will definitely recommend my friends and family...Good luck.“
“Went here for the first time recently to pick up some frozen ravioli and discovered their delicious prepared foods. I ordered two huge rice balls (1 fed two of us). One was cheese and spinach and the other was cheese, peas and ground beef. Also ordered a piece of eggplant Parmesan- again enough for two of us. Everything was delectable!!! The frozen ravioli, eggplant parm and two rice balls were $35 - but fed us for a few meals There were a few tables if you want to eat there but it's more conducive to take out. They also had eggplant rolentini, breaded and grilled chicken, made to order sandwiches, various salads, croquettes and prepared veggies, along with some Italian dessserts. Can't wait to go back!“
“Excellent restaurant, they serve delicious breakfasts from the healthiest to those garnachitas for breakfast that we love so much.Their food is exquisite and super homemade, their oil with which they cook is fresh and you can see that it is super fresh and not at all overheated because the food has a very rich and fresh flavor.Their nopales salad is delicious, their empanadas and their freshly squeezed juices, well what can I say, everything is a delight, and their prices are very reasonable, the service is on another level, Maria is a loving person and always serves you with a Smile, the man who attends in the morning is also very friendly and helpful. Many other places should learn from this little place and it is a restaurant that undoubtedly earns each of its 5 stars ?? ??!!“
“I finally tried their bfast (I usually order lunch). oh my gosh the omelet was so good. and the potatoes weren't bland. nice flavor! i ordered 2 hash browns and they actually wrapped them separately so they wouldn't stick together. go to Michigan Deli!!“
“My regular deli for the last year. Great food, great service and the nicest owners! They know my order as soon as they pick up the phone. A terrific local place for a sandwich! Especially like to chat with Jake, Tessa and Jacqui when I pop in for my take out.“
