In addition, for the first time in memory in a restaurant, we did not have our senses blasted by deafening and distorting amplification or pounding tympani. Instead of punishing us into submission, the music actually enhanced our dining experience. Why restaurants play insanely loud music at dining time is beyond me. But Scarborough Fair got it right.“

“Went there today with my daughter and friend best sandwiches We have ever had in a long time. We had the Grilled Reuben, Buffalo Chicken sandwich, Fried Buttermilk chicken sandwich and the burger. Everything was delicious. The kids had the chicken sandwich and burger and they raved about the bun which was awesome. The homemade macaroni salad was also a big hit. Hands down to owner Rob and manager Raul their hospitality was top notch. Definitely will go back and this time bringing the entire family. So if you are ever in town stop by and believe me you won’t be disappointed“

“We have been going to Connie's for several years now and always love the great food , friendly staff and atmosphere. My favorites for breakfast are 3 eggs over easy , hashbrowns , bacon or sausage patties , rye or wheat toast along with coffee. My wife's favorite is blueberry pancakes or french toast and also scrambled eggs sometimes with home fries or hashbrowns. I wish they would also add eggs benedict to the menu as this is also one of my wife Wendy's favorites . All in all a great place for individuals , friends or families to gather for a great breakfast or lunch with fair prices.“

“Was there after the lunch crowd today 2/1/22. The place was spotless, the restroom was also. Excellent choice of burgers and sandwiches. My wife and I both had burgers and we both agreed they were the best we have had in at least 20 yrs. Grade A meat and the french fries were freshly cut and fried. Can't wait to get back. If you are a movie buff like me you will love the decor. The service was great also.“

“The breakfast is excellent at the Riverside Cafe . Their pancakes are among the best I have ever had with great texture and flavor, (no need for syrup). I also liked their egg sandwiches and homemade hash browns. Looking forward to trying more food from here. “We love MJs so sad our Tinton Fall closed but Mary and I (Resurfaced) played an awesome show at the great Neptune location to a packed crowd. Bar was wrap around big!!! Bartender and wait staff were awesome, we will be there again soon. The salmon was best I had in a long time, an amazing smoked crust broccoli and mash wow loved it. Can’t wait to go again soon.“
