“Lunch on the Saturday before July 4. Restaurant was very busy. We were luckily seated immediately on the porch. Service was excellent. Waitress Jane quickly brought us water and took our order (grilled chicken sandwich and seared tuna tacos). Wait time for the food was not long at all and we got to relax and enjoy the nice breeze on the porch in the meantime. Both of our meals were excellent as was service. Jane checked back with us several times to see if we needed anything and quickly responded to our requests for water refills and then more napkins. We were so pleased that, in spite of every table being filled with diners, service was prompt and cheerful. This is the second time in 2 months we've had lunch here and both times we were very glad we chose this restaurant.“

“We came here on a Saturday night with a reservation for a group of 6. You enter through the pizza shop to get to the dining room and were promptly seated. Our server was excellent! She was very polite, friendly, did not mind repeating herself and was very patient with the elderly members of our group. Live music by Andy Russo was a pleasant surprise - playing all of our favorite Bruce songs with a special guest joining him playing Stevie Nicks Landslide! Mr C’s was one of the most pleasant dining experiences we’ve had since we’ve moved to Asbury park. This dining experience will not disappoint! “One of my fav places to enjoy seafood with a view. Ducks, swans, boats going in & out right outside the windows with lots of great seafood and drink options. Sure, it's crowded in warmer weather, and a little loud due to low ceilings, but it's a classic Jersey shore restaurant with great staff and delicious meals. The Sunset dinners are a deal (before 5pm), so don't miss out on those! Been going here for years, and even though we live about an hour away, will take the drive even on a weeknight to dine here, that's how much we love it. Small lot, but they will park your car in other lots if there's no spots left. Just Go and enjoy!“

“BEST lobster outside Maine & I've Summered in Maine since 1961. I only order the Connecticut roll, warm, dripping with large buttery pieces of claw & chopped tail on a traditional soft lobster roll. Delicious! Better flavor, fresher than lobster at the shore's best known seafood restaurants. And a few $ cheaper. I tried the mac & cheese w/ lobster once but frankly, lobster is way too delicate to drown in that sandwich, but it was a noble sandwich for fans. I stick to exactly 1 thing now: 5 stars for their CT lobster roll at Cousins truck, Brick, NJ.“
“My children had a 70th birthday dinner there for me on 1/20. The food was amazing! The service was outstanding, and the birthday cake, well I seriously could have eaten the entire cake! A hidden gem amongst the locals. $54 got us 6 long neck clams, 6 coconut fried shrimp, large crab cake, cup of New England clam chowder, side of coleslaw and lobster roll. My only critique is the red pepper in the lobster roll was a little forward. Clams were very fresh and crab cake was one of the best I've ever had. Highly recommend.“

“Had a great second visit to Sea Grass! As mentioned in other reviews this restaurant is BYOB, so we started with our wine (which they nicely brought an ice bucket for) and the oyster special. My boyfriend really appreciated how the oysters weren't overly salty and the pear glaze added a good flavor. Since we had such a large appetizer, we decided to split the halibut for our entree. We were pleasantly surprised when our waitress brought out two plates, pre-split for us. The halibut had a nice herb crust and was served over lobster risotto (and they definitely did not skimp on the lobster!!). Overall, lovely dining experience!“

“Pier 281 is easily the BEST marina at the Jersey Shore! It has an awesome luxurious chill vibe. The location can’t be beat with the inlet nearby and the close proximity to Windward Beach with Brick Summerfest fireworks and the awesome pirate ship for added ambiance! The owners are absolutely amazing and go above and beyond to keep the marina very well maintained. I personally love the fact that it is not HUGE, so you can get to know some people, but you can also have a lot of privacy to just relax and enjoy! “The food is outstanding. Ate here for the 1st time and we were amazed at how great and fresh the food is. Definitely highly recommend to everyone. We got the lobster, but I ordered the tacos because you get more for the same price and I have to say the salsa that's made fresh is great and the fresh chips are the best I have ever had in my life. Well worth the money and will definitely be returning. My only issue is the seating area is tight and separate from the kitchen, which the poor servers have to go in and out of the doors to get the food and not a good set up.“

“Good food, good service, even in the off season. I come here as often as I can with a friend of mine who lives in the area. It's become something of a tradition. The crab dip to start with is phenomenal, and it is also a fish market in the back. If buying and cooking fish isn't your thing, then the BYOB restaurant might be more of your thing. I love that the shore has places like this. We started off with the buffalo shrimp, the seafood risotto special, and the fried calamari. When a place also serves the tentacles is a good sign. Entrees were the surf and turf and the Alaskan King Crab dinner. I also recommend the clam pot dinner. Mangia! Buy some extra crab dip in the back on your way out. If you come during the summer season expect a wait, but it is worth it.“

“Went with my husband today, he had the crab cake sandwich with house cut fries, both were delicious. I had the blackened shrimp poke bowl. First time I had a poke bowl and it will definitely will not be my last. I only gave the atmosphere a 4 star because it was super loud inside and I basically yelled the entire time to talk. We had Victoria as our server and she was an excellent one at that. Prompt and extremely pleasant. We will go back again to try something else and hopefully have her again as our server.“
