“R Bar in Asbury Park is a standout destination that masterfully transports the soul of New Orleans to the Jersey Shore. The Crab Beignets with Creole remoulade are incredible for an appetizer. We had the crawfish pasta for dinner and that was just as delicious.
For dessert we had the Beignets and the strawberry churro cake. They were both great choices and a perfect way to end the meal.

Afterwards we stayed around for a couple drinks because the atmosphere is very welcoming.

While we were there, we got to me 3 of the owners. Casey, Kelly and Lindsey were all so nice and so willing to talk with us. Plus our waitress, Kieura, was so nice, friendly and gave us great recommendations.

I say all that to say, R Bar is a place you need to try. We will definitely be back again, and again!“

“We just had my daughter’s bridal shower there and everything was perfect. We chose the lunch buffet and the food was delicious. There was so much included and it was priced very reasonably. The room upstairs was very spacious for our group of 40 people. It was nice to have our own bathroom and bar. The servers were friendly and attentive and also very helpful. When we moved out of town about 3 years ago we tried to find something that was comparable and closer, but that didn’t work out so make the trip back just about every Friday night.
