“We’ve been going to Illiano’s nearly 36 years. It’s been great since day 1. We usually do takeout and find the pizza, subs and garlic knots to be the best in Monmouth County. When we moved out of town about 3 years ago we tried to find something that was comparable and closer, but that didn’t work out so make the trip back just about every Friday night. We highly recommend them!“

“Stopped by the newly opened Gigi’s in Long Branch on my way to the beach. First off, loved that they have a parking lot which didn’t stress me about finding a spot cause I was going to have that adventure when I headed to the beach. I ordered the grandma’s pie and garlic knots! The grandma’s pie had pesto on it and I am a s***** for pesto!! Love the crust style being crispy. Hands down the best garlic knots I ever had! Don’t sleep on this place. It’s 3 blocks from the beach, easy parking and they deliver. I look forward to some pasta dishes on my next visit! Other key likes of mine was the aesthetic, it’s beautiful Inside but decorated to make you feel outside. I was very impressed with the kid friendly atmosphere of the chalkboard wall, beanbag seats and they even have juice boxes on hand for the kiddos. They also accommodate our tweens and teens with a pizza wing mural for their insta! They really thought of everything. The whole staff were so accommodating and genuine. Thank you Tommy and Faye for a great experience.“

i love this place! i had linguine with marinara sauce and split the arugula salad with my dad. it was very good! so much left overs to take home. it was great! staff is very friendly as well.

i had the vodka linguine and it was very good! creamy and saucy :). i love their olive oil. it has rosemary flavor to it. i mainly used the olive oil with the bread rather than butter. although bread and butter is always good! sometimes olive oil is a good replacement. i just love their pasta. always fresh and delicious.

i also had the caprese salad which has mozzarella, tomatoes, sun-dried tomatoes, peppers, and basil. very fresh and delicious!“

“Crashed a private event and it was just my style. Might be stuffy in comparison to the bar around the corner, but otherwise seems like first class classical music and comfy couches for a celebratory drink. Can't comment on the food.

Bartender was nice about walking in to the event.“

“Been going to Max’s since I was kid & they were on the Boardwalk. Still the best hot dog I’ve ever had. Also love their crispy onion rings, steak fries, zucchini fries & sweet potato fries. Other menu items look good however I cannot go to Max’s without getting their famous hot dog!“

“This is a pretty good Neapolitan style pizza!
I wish they had a few more choices maybe with mozzarella di bufala (or some other classic toppings for this style such as prosciutto) and, more importantly, I wish they had delivery service available.

One thing to note is that they close the wood burning ovens after lunch and start using the electric ones during the afternoon/evening. At least, that is the case during the week. Not sure if it happens on weekends too. The pizza is still very good but there are a few differences when cooked in brick vs electric (I prefer brick-coal/wood fire)“

That said, if you’re looking for a casual spot with a relaxed atmosphere, friendly service, and a solid meal after (or during) a day at the beach or walking the boardwalk, Swimcrush is a good choice.“
