“My wife and I patronize our favorite restaurants, usually for a specific dish that they serve that is better than similar dishes offered elsewhere. Every Thursday we go to Szechuan Tokyo specifically for the Negimaki, the Japanese dish consisting of broiled strips of beef marinated in teriyaki sauce and rolled with scallions. While it is not equal to the Negimaki to which I was accustomed when living in New York, it is the best to be found anywhere around this neck of the woods. Since it is BYOB, we usually stop at the Foodtown, located in the same strip mall, to pick up a bottle of Sake Wine to complement our meal. The service here is excellent - very friendly, fast, courteous, and efficient. The salad and miso soup, which are included with the meal, are always fresh and very tasty. My wife and I each get a California Roll, which is also quite good, as an appetizer before eating the Negamaki entrée. Every course arrives at the table at just the right time - never rushed. Best of all, the prices are extremely reasonable for such an enjoyable dining experience.“

“Portions are great and food is hot. They have the best boneless spare ribs, not fatty, not oily - perfection. The staff is always friendly and it's our go to spot (almost two decades) when we're undecided because it consistent. Can't recall an issue and if we did it didn't discourage us. Highly recommend. Even when we lived twenty minutes away, we'd drive happily because no other Chinese food spot compares.“

“Ordered shrimp lo mein for an early dinner. They give you generous portions. My order only cost $11. I have enough for lunch the next day. This is a small place with seating for only 6-8 people. The food is really good. They have a fried chicken and bananas special for the local clientele. I will need to try that the next time I stop by.“

“I always order from Eastern Empire for delivery when at work when I crave Chinese food. It's the ONLY Chinese restaurant I trust with fresh delicious food and no salty, greasy, sloppy food.
All dishes are classic tasting and not overly ANYTHING. It's JUST RIGHT. Kind of hard to find that in my own experience.
My absolute favorite is the steamed chicken with broccoli with extra chicken, garlic sauce on the side for a little kick and your choice of plain white or brown rice and their wonton dumplings are the best tasting I have ever had. Order an egg drop dumpling soup and you'll remember this post, trust me. Or you can order a lunch special with pork fried fried rice but that's on your own personal preference.
Hands down one of THE best Chinese food experiences I've ever had and WOW have I had A LOT of disappointment when it comes to terrible Chinese food. For those who know, you know what I'm talking about. You've either got it, or you don't. 👍“

“My go-to Chinese food spot for take away and delivery. The food is always fresh and flavorful but not overpowering; I want to use the term clean to describe their flavor(s). Their portions are very generous regardless of the size ordered and it’s consistent, you always know what you’re taking home with you. “My husband and I started going to Sentosa's about 21 years ago and went there often up until we moved out of the area about 10 years ago. I miss them as it was always a nice experience to eat there. We ordered take outs many times as well. The couple who own it are two of the nicest people ever and they would go out of their way to make sure we were pleased. “In the past I've only gotten Wonton Soup to go from Yummy Yummy, after trying several other places nearby didn't measure up, and it was always perfect. Tonight I decided to order something different AND have it delivered. I was craving Roast Pork Lo Mein, Roast Pork Fried Rice and a Pork Egg Roll, so I went to their website from my cell. I didn't have to deal with downloading an app, ordering was a breeze! I gave specific instructions to call me when they arrived at my building so I could buzz them in, and gave them directions to my apartment. Since our landlords fired the Concierge a few years back, getting food delivered to our apartment door has been a nightmare and a near non-occurrence. I was called by the Yummy Yummy delivery person, I buzzed the front door to let them in, and they were literally at my apartment door around 25 minutes after I placed my order. The gentleman was VERY nice, the food was HOT, VERY generous portions and... DELICIOUS!! I highly recommend Yummy Yummy, if I could give 10 starts I would!“
