Just want to give props to the entire team. Had some issues with quality, portions, and unavailable items in past...
However, over the past 6 months they have made it feel like Chipotle of 10-15 yrs ago. The taste is better, portions are as they should be, and even when the brisket relaunched they offered me a taste of it (before lunch rush). Guess what, ended up spending more because it was delicious.“

“I am a Gringo, but kind of an expert with Mexican Food. And my Spouse is from Mexico.
We ate here today, Monday, 10/14/24, around 4:00 p.m., it was our first visit.
The food was awesome!
We each had Enchiladas De Mole Oaxaqueño con Pollo ( Chicken ) comes with rice and beans on the side.
The chicken was tender,the Mexican rice was fresh and excellent, the beans were good. The side of Salsa Picante ordered specially, was great on the rice. The most delicious item was the Mole Oaxaquena; dark, rich, and with some spice!!! Also had a side of Guacamole that was fresh and very good! Orchata was good.
The tortillas are handmade! Prices were very fair and the place is BYOB. I would recommend this establishment for an authentic Mexican meal!!! Most Especially…..the Mole Oaxaquena!!!
Atmosphere and Decor was okay. The servers were friendly and efficient!

“Not flashy, simple, deli kind of set up. almost hole in the wall. My first impression was....ummm..naa..but since my wife picked up the place, I kind of kept quiet and was willing to try it. Boy was I wrong!! This place turned out to be AMAZING. Probably one of the best Mexican food we have had. Ask for a burrito with BBQ sauce inside it.“

“I’m about a month behind on this review but I love this restaurant! The food is always good and we always get great service. I ordered two Caja Loca packs and some extra stuff for my husband’s birthday back in August. I came by the day before and paid for it all, told them when I needed it, and it was super easy to take care of. I came by the next day and it was hot and ready for us. They were very sweet and the food was incredible. And it fed a bunch of us! Love El Pollito Loco and their staff. Thanks for making my husband’s birthday special. You guys are great!“

“Authentic Mexican food. I had the chili Relleno which was delicious. The chilequiles verde con carne were a very light green that I have never seen before but they were not lacking in flavor....they were pretty good. The tamales were a bit dry however. Last time we had tacos al pastor which were delicious. The owners are very nice and friendly. A nice find. They only have 4 tables inside. They do mostly takeout...but both times we ate in and noticed alot of repeat customers and the owners greeting them. Nice customer interaction. I will go back and continue to try new things!“

It was also more food than we expected, and was very well packed for transport. We’ve enjoyed the experience of dining at Sofia’s, and now also the catered g experience.“

“Place is authentic and phenomenal food. Sometimes it’s a wait for your food, sometimes there’s no walkins available, that happens at great restaurants. Food is phenomenal, get the chimichanga….. whoever said should come with a disclaimer about no walkins- gtfo. It’s a small popular restaurant, want do you expect? The red carpet? Pure entitlement.“

Plus the leftovers that weren't served at the reception hall made great afterparty food. If you like tacos and want to give your late night party crowd a treat after a fun night, highly recommend Tacoholics!“

“We were in manasquan and walked into the Commited Pig, only one choice of soup and no Caesar salad so we couldn’t COMMIT!…see this Mexican restaurant across the street, decide to try and WOW! “Great food with affordable prices. Perfect for breakfast and lunch with extremely polite employees and very quick service. You can sit outside on the picnic benches to eat or get your food ordered to go. Call ahead if you would like and pick up or pull over and enjoy some great food. I highly recommend anyone in the area to stop by and try it for yourself.“

“First time here. Ordered a pineapple 🍍 margarita. It's good except it doesn't taste like pineapple 😞🍍. Where is the sliced pineapple on the cup and the maraschino 🍒? But for the sake of not being high maintenance, I will end it here. Just asked. They don't have pineapples. lol“
