“Best Restaurant in New Jersey.“

“My wife and I patronize our favorite restaurants, usually for a specific dish that they serve that is better than similar dishes offered elsewhere. Every Thursday we go to Szechuan Tokyo specifically for the Negimaki, the Japanese dish consisting of broiled strips of beef marinated in teriyaki sauce and rolled with scallions. While it is not equal to the Negimaki to which I was accustomed when living in New York, it is the best to be found anywhere around this neck of the woods. Since it is BYOB, we usually stop at the Foodtown, located in the same strip mall, to pick up a bottle of Sake Wine to complement our meal. The service here is excellent - very friendly, fast, courteous, and efficient. The salad and miso soup, which are included with the meal, are always fresh and very tasty. My wife and I each get a California Roll, which is also quite good, as an appetizer before eating the Negamaki entrée. Every course arrives at the table at just the right time - never rushed. Best of all, the prices are extremely reasonable for such an enjoyable dining experience.“

“We have been wanting to try this restaurant for a while now and finally decided to take the drive this evening and it was so worth it! The service was so personable and friendly! That said we knew it was going to be a good evening before even trying our food! Then we had the tuna pizza and ceviche PHENOMENAL! We asked if we could have chips with the ceviche and at first they were unsure but they made it happen and it was so good! We also tried three rolls and honestly they were some of the best we've ever had! We cannot wait to be back!“

“I have been going to Ada’s for probably close to a decade if not longer. I am familiar with Ethiopian cuisine and she truly delivers every time. While I can’t speak to the other cuisines I have learned over time that her heart is in every dish. The doro wot is top! (Well it all is). The AP location is lovely. “Vegan or not, it’s worth checking out this cute spot. We ordered the porkroll egg and cheese sandwich, the buffalo tempeh mac and cheese, the bacon, hashbrowns, french toast sticks, and a cold brew. As some other reviews mentioned, they did change some items on their new menu but there was still a good variety. I felt that they did a good job recreating typically non-vegan dishes. Our favorites were the Buffalo Mac and cheese (really good) and the French toast sticks. The worker running the food out to us was very kind and attentive (blonde hair, dark makeup). I didn’t feel that we had to wait long for our order. The decor is very fun and themed. They were out of a few things we had inquired about, but we aren’t nit-picky. I would come here again but would maybe call ahead to see what’s on the menu because I still see the old menu listed online and it’s since changed quite a bit.“

The owner, Tom, gave me perfect recommendations for how much to order for the number of guests and made ordering, paying + pickup beyond easy (including some extras like rolls, sauces and pickled onions). “Was there after the lunch crowd today 2/1/22. The place was spotless, the restroom was also. Excellent choice of burgers and sandwiches. My wife and I both had burgers and we both agreed they were the best we have had in at least 20 yrs. Grade A meat and the french fries were freshly cut and fried. Can't wait to get back. If you are a movie buff like me you will love the decor. The service was great also.“

“First time there. Good food. The menu was amazing, there's so many choices for breakfast and lunch. The prices are appropriate for the menu options.
It was very busy, but the service was good. It was a Sunday, so I guess it is busier on the weekends. The outdoor dining area was busy even though it is November. Our server kept checking on us and apologized about the wait for our food. I will go back on a weekday to try it again.“

So much variety! Sushi, poke bowls, burgers, meat pizzas (pulled beef is the best!), salmon platters, vegetarian options, impossible burgers, etc, etc.
Great service too!
The interior can use an update but, otherwise, a great experience in every respect and for every age!
Last but not least, this restaurant is not overpriced like every other kosher option nearby.

“We visited the juice Basin on a trip to Asbury Park. The smoothies were amazing, service was friendly and helpful. It was a hot day and a long walk to get there. “We've been to Flavia's several times and have always enjoyed our experience. The service is fast and attentive and has it has a super cute modern Italian interior. We always try something new each time we go and haven't been disappointed yet. This time, we had the carbonara spaghetti and pesto fettuccine and it was perfectly al dente and delicious!
