“Our golf group decided on the Southside deli as our lunch venue before our tee time at Lakewood CC. Don't be fooled the uninspiring curb appeal, this was a great choice! I had a delicious pastrami sandwich on fresh rye bread with cole slaw which was absolutely delicious! I will be back to try their kosher BBQ and smoked meats, plus other sandwiches and burgers.“

“There used to be Roy Rogers restaurants on the NY state thruway. Would specifically stop at those rest stations to go to a Roy Rogers. Sadly, NY got rid of the Roy Rogers. I was down in Brick today, and this Roy Rogers was amazing! Food was fantastic. Just as good as I remember. Fries were salted to perfection. Burger was juicy. I wish Roy Rogers would make a comeback. Place really is the best fast food company. Tastes good, and very reasonably priced.“

I went through the drive-thru and had a good experience. Both employees I spoke with were genuinely so nice and friendly. It’s always refreshing when someone takes that extra second to be pleasant, they definitely made the experience better. The food was hot and fresh, the order was correct, and those little sliders hit the spot! 🍔

“I wasn't expecting their type of set up. There's a very small space to stay & eat. You order your food (from multiple food options) from a kiosk & when your order is ready your name is called & they hand you your bagged food. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger Detroit style personal pizza (which was delicious). I also ordered brisket just in case I didn't like the pizza. I didn't have the brisket yet. The pizza was plenty & it was great. If I'm ever passing through the area again I would DEFINITELY stop here. Plenty of food options to choose from.“

“This is our go-to place in town for great quality subs that are always fresh and delicious. The atmosphere is always inviting and fun. During our last visit I was completely impressed and brought to tears on how much this staff cares about their customers. My dad was on life support in the ICU and we needed a quick bite before heading back to the hospital. The two staff members working saw how upset and exhausted my husband and I were and decided to bless us with a meal. These two went beyond exceptional customer service taking the time to notice and care. We are so grateful and we look forward to going back and paying it forward. “I think Jersey Mike's gets a lot of unnecessary criticism in New Jersey. Yes, I have had subs from other places up here including Lenny's. However, this place does really well. We got four subs and they were all delicious with plenty of meat. In this case I would say they were nice and balanced. Really great store with great people working inside.

“I like the fact that they have gluten free bread. However, it cost me $38 for 2 gluten free subs a small container of potato salad and there was barely any meat on my sandwich. They definitely should step up the quantity of the meat for what you are paying. I'm better off going to diesels getting a sub in a tub and buying my own baguette from shoprite.“

“I felt so sorry for the Manager who had to close the dining room because she had no help. she apologized to my grandson and I and asked us to let her know when we were done eating and she would unlock the door and let us out. it was just the Manager and 1 employee. the drive thru was packed. she called her boss, who was no help at all. there are jobs, people just don't want to work. kudos to the manager who handled the situation the only way she could. we love the food and will definitely be going back there again.“

I just wanted to take a moment to recognize Jake and Samantha for the incredible job they did today. They were dealing with an overwhelming volume of orders along with nonstop DoorDash and Uber drivers, many of whom were frustrated, impatient, and unfortunately taking that frustration out on the staff.

Despite all of that pressure, both Jake and Samantha remained calm, professional, and respectful throughout the entire situation. They handled the business on their own to the absolute best of their ability, kept things moving, and represented the team extremely well under difficult circumstances.

Employees who can maintain composure, professionalism, and strong customer service in high-stress environments like that are extremely valuable. I genuinely believe their hard work and dedication deserve recognition and honestly, a raise.

“Well I have to say things definitely were very good at KFC today. We were very happy. Being a local we've been coming here for a long time and we actually do like it. It's a big change from over the bridge and boardwalk food. It's still fast food but it's good fast food and I love the fact that if something isn't ready they tell you to pull up and within 5 to 8 minutes. You normally have your order and then you know it's nice and hot and fresh so thanks again! KFC We definitely enjoyed our dinner“
