“Order was take out only, however the restaurant has a nice, calm atmosphere. All food items ordered were very good and tasty. One critique: the Basil Chicken dish was pretty light on the chicken; lots of vegtables. This was not the case about a week ago with the same order.
But overall, very good! And we'll be back!“

“Took my 5-year-old daughter for her first hibachi lunch. The chef made her feel very special. She really enjoyed the show, especially the volcano. I had the filet mignon and chicken and was barely able to eat everything. “I am a grad student at Rowan, so I am on a budget. Most of the restaurants close to Rowan (the ones on Rowan Blvd in particular) are pricey. This restaurant is within my budget around $10. I asked the owner if I could order differently than what was on the menu. Buns and fries are not my favorite so in place of them I asked for wings, dumplings and rolls. She cooked it for me. Next time I will order rice and shrimp (love shrimp).“

“I had poke for gluten free meal and my wife had chicken noodle. Both meals were great. There were plenty of tables nearby. We will certainly come back to this place when we pass through the PHL airport.

“The food??? AMAZING!! The chicken wings got so much flavor and the rice is perfectly seasoned not too much not too little. Now my favorite thing??? That shrimp tempura poke bowl is AMAZINGGG. I literally will gladly take that 16 minute drive any day. Edit: ordered again today, got the same bowl but with brown rice due to diabetes, was SUPER GOOD. Will never complain !“

“The man who was answering the phone to take orders and simultaneously putting the orders together and taking payments was amazing at his job. He was juggling so much and I don't know how he handled it all. I was picking up two orders and it was very busy tonight. He held everything together and I don't know how he did it. Although the line was very long, he got me out the door as quickly and considerately as possible, and I am very thankful for him. We enjoyed our food as always, and truly appreciate the top-notch service.“

“Hewa is the restaurant where my love for sushi started. It is a great value with a wide variety and is a staple dinner option at my house. However after eating sushi from several other restaurants I have to unfortunately say, it is not the best. Don't get me wrong it's still really good and sometimes I just need a good heeling of Hewa, but it's the variety that allows Hewav to excel not necessarily the quality. That being said they are the best of the middle, only being beat by higher end swanky sushi places. Everyone should go here for the every day sushi or Chinese, it is just a solid meal everytime.“

“I would like to share a bit of a positive thing that happened. I went to Classic Asia (AKA BEST PLACE EVER) and ordered take-out Shrimp Pho soup. When I got there, the woman (who is already so nice) told me they didn't accept AMEX cards. Unfortunately, I didn't have any cash on me. So I said, "okay I'll be right back, I'll go grab cash!" Her reply was " No no, don't worry about it. Next time you order just tell us it's you! I couldn't believe it. I was like HUH?! How is someone being this kind ?!? I told her, she was insanely sweet and that I would be right back with cash payment. She goes "okay but don't rush, go and eat first and just come back whenever!" Don't worry i called as soon as I got home! How amazing are they?? This was super special to me, because I have MS and sometimes have issues walking and standing. In a time of need, the owner basically put my needs above hers. Just so sweet!!!“

“For an airport eatery, I found the service and the selection better than expected! I had lots of fresh choices and everyone was eager to please. I went with the chicken tempura and sticky rice dish and can’t wait to get back and order it again, it was that good. Remember, this is no sit down and savor each morsel kind of a venue, it’s an airport food hall, but I was happy that I picked this food vendor. Happy travels!“

“Been living in SJ for 10+ years and this is still my go to Chinese takeout and dine in. The comments here are so mean and after reviewing some recent ones… well Covid have happened it doesn’t help that the country itself is filled with mostly ungrateful Americans. The food is still good, there has been some changes but I never had problems with this place. Probably because I am also respectful and you receive what you give I guess. The place can use some upgrades and upkeeping but before you hurt a business, ensure you reflect how you are treating workers. It is hard out here and businesses themselves are just trying to thrive and make it back from Covid years.

“This has become our new favorite Chinese restaurant! Prices may be a little higher than other restaurants around but the quality and the quantity of food are outstanding. Deff worth it! This is our second time ordering and we wanted to try something different. The Fiancé order beef Lo-mein, I order a MaLa Dry pot with chicken, baby corn, carrots, broccoli, cashews, pineapple, lo-mein and fried rice and sesame seeds. This was my first time ordering this plate, and let me tell you it was huge!! For $15 this plate can easily feed 4 people. I took some for me and my 6 year old and there’s still enough for 3 people. The picture was after dinner and does not include the rice that came with it. The chicken was tender, the broccoli was crispy and the pineapple was sweet. If you have never had fried pineapple and cashews rice you should definitely try it from China Cook. We also order cheese wontons and they were sweet and crunchy. Delicious! The spring rolls are freshly fried and have great flavor. The chicken and cheese roll was really good. We spent around $38 but the food is worth it. They have plenty of other items, like sushi and bento boxes. Order online and pick up in store is as easy as it sounds! Try them, you won’t regret it!“

“I needed some Asian food badly and I came across this food hall. Right when you go through security you turn left and it’s in the same area as Chick-fil-A. I got donkotsu ramen with pork & Philies roll. The both was flavorful & sushi was on the spot! Thank you Gachi for satisfying my cravings!“
