“The atmosphere was great. Sushi seemed to be good, although I didn't get any. Looked to be super clean and had a sushi bar with very vibrant ingredients.

We ordered the hibachi. It was ok. Not that it was bad, it was edible for sure. But it didn't come with fried rice, it was just white rice in a Chinese container. I was hoping for proper hibachi fried rice. The rest of it was good. Nothing to blow your socks off, but good. I would definitely recommend to people who aren't looking for a whole hibachi dinner and more of a quick lunch, but for the price it was a little underwhelming.

Again, the food itself was decent. But for the price of a hibachi meal I could have picked a few other places local that are substantially better.

Edit: the response from the owner was excellent and I've raised it to a 4 because honestly taking customers in stride with grace deserves at least that.“

“WE LOVE MANDARIN COURT!! Highly recommend if you are looking for a good Sushi + Chinese food in South Jersey that you order out or dine in at Mandarin. The food is so good we order takeout at least once a week! The entire staff + owners are INCREDIBLE and so kind + efficient. “Took my 5-year-old daughter for her first hibachi lunch. The chef made her feel very special. She really enjoyed the show, especially the volcano. I had the filet mignon and chicken and was barely able to eat everything. My daughter enjoyed the steak, and my wife had scallops and said that they were really well prepared.The service was very friendly and attentive. “I have ordered take out from Sakura several times and it always hits the spot. Because the restaurant is a repurposed Taco Bell (and still maintains that sweet 1990s Taco Bell architecture), it is incredibly convenient to swing through the drive-thru and collect fresh made hibachi and sushi.

One of our favorite dishes is the house fried rice, well made and packed with chicken, steak, and shrimp. Easy to share while trying a bunch of other dishes.

The restaurants pickup times have always been spot on, with our food being served hot. Portions are generous and prices are more than reasonable.“

“Brings me right back to my high school days when I went to the Burlington Mall for Sarku Japan every day I worked. Little family owned space with absolutely delicious, incredibly fresh food. The portions are huge and you get 2 meals out of one order. My wife and I come here all the time when we want a cheap meal. Love these guys.“

“I would like to share a bit of a positive thing that happened. I went to Classic Asia (AKA BEST PLACE EVER) and ordered take-out Shrimp Pho soup. When I got there, the woman (who is already so nice) told me they didn't accept AMEX cards. Unfortunately, I didn't have any cash on me. So I said, "okay I'll be right back, I'll go grab cash!" Her reply was " No no, don't worry about it. Next time you order just tell us it's you! I couldn't believe it. I was like HUH?! How is someone being this kind ?!? I told her, she was insanely sweet and that I would be right back with cash payment. She goes "okay but don't rush, go and eat first and just come back whenever!" Don't worry i called as soon as I got home! How amazing are they?? This was super special to me, because I have MS and sometimes have issues walking and standing. In a time of need, the owner basically put my needs above hers. Just so sweet!!!“

“Finally gave them a try and was pleasantly surprised. The sushi rolls were delicious just cut a little thicker then I’m used too, and they were stuffed a little more than I’m used too. They tasted good, and left me wanting more. So, I will definitely be going back to give a try to some of there other menu options.“

“Been living in SJ for 10+ years and this is still my go to Chinese takeout and dine in. The comments here are so mean and after reviewing some recent ones… well Covid have happened it doesn’t help that the country itself is filled with mostly ungrateful Americans. The food is still good, there has been some changes but I never had problems with this place. Probably because I am also respectful and you receive what you give I guess. The place can use some upgrades and upkeeping but before you hurt a business, ensure you reflect how you are treating workers. It is hard out here and businesses themselves are just trying to thrive and make it back from Covid years.

“I needed some Asian food badly and I came across this food hall. Right when you go through security you turn left and it’s in the same area as Chick-fil-A. I got donkotsu ramen with pork & Philies roll. The both was flavorful & sushi was on the spot! Thank you Gachi for satisfying my cravings!“
