“Loved almost everything about this wonderful little Mexican oasis! Had the steak enchiladas and nearly licked my plate clean. The salsa was fresh and very tasty! Only complaint is that my old bony butt would prefer cushioned seats lol, but so good it wont deter me from coming back!“

“I've been meaning to try this place for so long and saw that they were recently put on GrubHub so tried them for lunch today. I got the San Jose beef barbacoa burrito. It was excellent. Grilled really nicely on the outside and everything inside was super flavorful. Will definitely be trying some of their Cuban sandwiches next!“

“My wife and I tried this place for the first time on 02/09. They actually had live entertainment! A guy singing his heart out in Spanish. It really added to the atmosphere. The food is phenomenal! Very authentic. The portions are huge, and the prices are reasonable. We will definitely be back.“

“El mariachi is an outstanding Mexican restaurant with exceptional and authentic Mexican food and generous and kind service. The interior design is gorgeous and cozy as well. I love everything I've ordered there - tacos, burritos, and chicken enchilada with homemade mole (their mole is the best I've ever had)! They just opened an incredible Mexican dessert place next door as well!“

“Great casual option with a large and varied menu that has something for everyone! We kept it simple and shared chips and guac, and each had an entree (quesadilla and burrito). All the food was good, but nothing struck us as a must recommend either. The restaurant has a lot of customers collecting take out and was full on a Friday night, so the servers were kept busy. It took us a little bit to get our order in, but once it was food was fast. It was also 6pm on a Friday though! We loved the decorations and ambiance. It looks like they have limited outside seating as well for nicer weather. It is BYO, and what I wish we realized in advance is if you bring liquor you can mix it into cocktails! I think they even made margaritas for the table next to us with their tequila bottle. Definitely looking to try that next time!“

“The best guac I’ve ever had, hands down! The homemade chips paired excellently with it too. I shared the mini sopesitos and they were great, not too heavy either. The birria tacos hit the spot! Tres leches was so light and fluffy, the perfect ending to a delicious meal. The restaurant is very small but gives a homey, “one of the family” feel. BYOB. Service was prompt and friendly. I can’t wait to come back!Also, the leftover tacos were even great the next day heated up in the air fryer“

“Food is delicious ? I got the veggies fajitas and hubby got chicken fajitas. You get chips on the table when you sit. Service was a little slow with drinks and I expected more toppings and guac ? or sour cream with the fajitas but maybe that's an American thing ??‍♀️ the owner stopped by our table and took time to talk to us and tell us how he started his business.. “Just tried this for the first time. Very good! My friend got the nachos and they were terrific. I got 3 beef tacos with rice and beans. I really enjoyed them. Very filling. The young lady who waited on us was really nice. It is usually counter service but she took our order. I would like to go again sometime.“

“When visiting family in NJ, we tried Vicki’s on a quick date night. We arrived around 8 & had a great experience. As we ordered, we asked several questions about the different food items & the server (who we found out was Vicki’s mom) answered all of our questions. Given that we have different spice levels (I have a very low pin tolerance for spicy but love the flavors!), she even suggested items we might enjoy.We ordered a chicken burrito, a chicken quesadilla, chicken enchiladas, & a side of guacamole & chips. We also tried several desserts: flan, rice pudding, & tres leches cake. Our food was delivered in a reasonable time & everything was delicious!The atmosphere was cozy & clean too. My only constructive feedback for the future: perhaps some pictures with the menu (everything was typed on paper) because we didn’t have much context of what we were getting. “Yes please! Wonderful staff whom accommodated our walk in party of 10 today for lunch and despite being a smaller restaurant with other diners and what sounded like tons of takeout orders coming in, there wasn't a single hiccup in service. I had the fish tacos which were super filling and delicious. Boyfriend had the steak burrito which he housed while telling me how dumb we were for not having tried this place sooner. Our other family members had fajitas and pork tacos...the kids mostly at the tenders/burgers from the kids menu. Some in our party had never tried Mexican food and fell in love with it. “Great spot to grab drinks with friends and watch a game. I was blown away by the fully vegan menu offered by Poppy Taco and all the food we had was delicious. We went with some friends who got non-vegan food from the other vendors which they said was good. The only thing that's super weird is that everything is served on paper plates. Not only does that produce a tremendous amount of waste, it also knocks the food experience down a peg. Get some real plates, it'll make a difference!“

“Omg!!!! I found this place by accident today. Walker over to it from the far side of the lot expecting to see a pizza place. Walker inside and it literally can't get anymore basic. A few tables and folding chairs. Over the place was clean and the bathroom was very clean. Now for the important part. They served me up the best chorizo tacos I have ever had! Good authentic Mexican tacos served with radish I put some of their house made hot sauce on the tacos and it was heaven. This is one of the hidden gems that you rarely find. I'll be back for sure !!!! I should also mention the service was great the nice lady behind the counter was very pleasant.“

Definitely better than your standard Mexican restaurant, but the chicken was a little dry (we had the chicken chimichanga and a chicken wet burrito... The bowl had all the protein and goodness I was craving! So great as in… perfectly tasting, well served and quality worth. “I placed a take out order during quarantine today for Cinco de Mayo- the food was the BEST I’ve had from any restaurant during quarantine, quality hasn’t diminished at all. I was even able to get a margarita to go, and again just as good as dining in! The staff was so thankful for our support, I hope you consider supporting them with a take out order!“

“Oh my goodness- Nirvana yum in a bowl. -think Chipotle like bowl meal meets Indian flavors and creativity- and in an efficient and convenient fast casual venue. As a true "frequent flyer"- I wish every airport had a Currito. It's a rare treat to find a place with truly healthy (veggie and nutrition dense) options that are high in flavor and options. Don't worry if you don't like "curry"- though there's curry in the name, there are many options that are curry-free. If you've never tried Indian fare, this is the best way to have a taste- customized and "safe" for even the pickiest of eaters. The service was fast, and the owner was looking on to ensure high quality and satisfaction.“

“Holy moley the chef here must be touched by Dionysus or some culinary goddess because this is hands down some of the best Mexican food I've ever tasted. I don't know if I cried but I surely could've. The rice. The rice is perfection, I didn't know rice could be elevated to such a level. The sauce is zesty and unique and I licked the container like a dog, even worse I'm not gonna lie I was down bad for the sauce. The people must know. I got three quesadillas of each variety and they were all delicious. It's food like this that can turn any kind of day around. God bless, may we all eat this well as often as possible.“

“Went out to Coco’s Cocinas for the first time and I will definitely be back. The food was an amazing and my server was one of the sweetest girls ever! I got the tacos and my partner got the enchiladas. I believe my servers name was Brooke? I was told she works Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. If you go on these days I recommend asking for her she is so pleasant, sweet, and working while getting her degree! I’ll definitely be back and happy to see the restaurant prioritizes good food and a good staff!“

“These are the best tacos in Gloucester County. Location on Broad Street on woodbury NJ. I prefer steak tacos, Mexican style, which is just cilantro And onions.. they do offer American style tacos, which includes lettuce, tomatoes and cheese.They have karaoke on Friday and Saturday evenings.“

“Traditional Mexican. Family owned and it shows in the quality. Tacos are twice the normal size. I inhaled a tongue taco and a burrito and byob some honey wine. I have also gotten enchiladas on a past visit. So good with the Verde sauce. Mexican food is almost always good. But the places that make homemade shells are the best. The prices are reasonable n byob helps. This is one of those Mexican restaurants where Mexican families are often seen eating. That's always a good indicator.“

“Cool little restaurant with authentic Mexican dishes and margheritas by the pitcher. The sides were a little lacking in my opinion. The black beans and rice was dry and the green salad was fresh but had no dressing. My Carne asada was tasty and plenty for me but my husband would need a lot more to satisfy his appetite.“
