“I was greeted by Tyleek as soon as I walked in the door, my order was a little annoying but he smiled made my meals exactly how I asked and also chatted with me while making the food. Nedene was at the register to ring me up and she was just as nice as Tyleek. The two of them are awesome and I hope they are working the next time I go back.“

“the short review will only based off food, my service pretty average nothing to go crazy about and the place looked suitable. I went in for a burrito and MAN, it was filled, maybe a little bit too filled, but i definitely got what I paid for in comparison to Eatontown which I go to consistently, it was like night and day in taste and portions. Maybe I got lucky, but the line went smoothly and I was in and out in a few minutes, but I’m definitely taking the extra minute drive to here if this is how I’ll be served. Thanks!!“

Will be coming here EVERY TIME we visit Bradley Beach! Do yourself a favor and eat here! We got two platters which was way too much food for us but thankfully we took most of it to go!“

“I’ve been about 5 times so far and LOVE Emelio’s! The food is fresh and delicious and the portions generous. Even their simple side salad is something special - delicious, light dressing. “Edit: Raising this from 1 to 4 star after speaking with the owner. It seems this was an outlier situation and they were very kind and receptive.

We came in at 8:20 PM (place closes at 9). The woman behind the counter seemed very detached and exhausted so I tried to be sympathetic. My burrito was a magnificent slop, not rolled properly at all. The soda fountain was out of CO2, so all the soda was flat - I made a comment but the employee didn't care even though she had charged me for the drink. The food wasn't bad but nothing remarkable or exciting.“

“I randomly stumbled into this place last night, and I was honestly really impressed! The Quesabirria were delicious! The tortillas were crispy, the beef was tender and flavorful, and the cheese added a nice richness. The flavors of the onions, cilantro, and lime tied it all together, making for a wonderful eating experience! And let's not forget about the dipping broth, which was packed with flavor! Dipping the tacos in the broth followed by the hot sauce was amazing!

The service was also great. The lady at the counter was really friendly and helped me feel at home. I would highly recommend this place for some really great birria! I hope I get a chance to come back :)“

“Not flashy, simple, deli kind of set up. almost hole in the wall. My first impression was....ummm..naa..but since my wife picked up the place, I kind of kept quiet and was willing to try it. “Wife had chicken enchiladas, kid had birria tacos and mango flan. Wife gave her food a 5, kid gave his tacos a 4 or 5 but the flan a 2. Said he would eat the tacos again but not the flan. “This is authentic Mexican food, very similar to the style in Mexico City, Mexico. I have really enjoyed all the foods I have ordered from here such as their soups, nachos, guacamole, tacos, quesadillas, burritos and signature kitchen dishes. They also offer a green and a red sauce that is spicy, but only elevates the flavor. I also appreciate the fresh limes, cilantro and onions they offer as well. I do like the langua burrito, which is served with rice and beans. Their tripa quesadillas and tacos are also delicious. You can find authentic beverages imported from Mexico in their drink fridge near the checkout counter too.“

Slow-er on the service but that’s due to how incredibly busy they are with take out orders alone. It’s family owned and run. “horrible experience & poor food quality. we ordered $90 of food tonight. first when trying to order i asked about the birria tacos in their Facebook post. the woman who answered told me that they dont call them birria tacos, they are called barbacoa. they required us to order from uber eats even though they advertise in town delivery. so we did. the tortillas with green sauce is rico's version of a chalupa. it was inedible. we ordered a steak chimichanga - it was very fatty. the quesadilla was delivered in the form of a taco. somehow an order for nachos we put in uber eats, was deleted. when we called to let them know somethings were not correct in the order and we were really dissapointed we were told this is not taco bell. at the end of the unhelpful conversation about their poor service and food quality, the final response was, "You got everything you deserved." very unprofessional. all around a bad experience. the food was not good. we love to support local businesses but will not be back to Rico Taco Mex 2.“

“One of my favorites ever since I was a kid. The chimis are just unbeatable. Chips and salsa (free!) are fresh and out of this world. Prices seem high, but not compared to anything else in red bank and probably because I remember when you could get the same thing for $12 20 years ago. Highly recommend. This is the pinnacle of American Mexican food.
