“Huge fan, I’ve never had a bad sandwich at Johnny Hot’s, until today 8/30/24. I was supposed to have just pork roll on a steak roll with spicy mustard, no egg and no cheese. The pork roll is usually cut very thin with a nice braise on it. It had egg & cheese on it. The egg & cheese were warm the meat was cool, no grill color to it. By the time I took the egg & cheese off there was hardly any pork roll, very disappointed. It was “no change” Friday, so I gave my apprentice 15 dollars for a sandwich I couldn’t even eat.“

“A small place where half of it is the kitchen. You can’t see them cooking but you can hear them which my girlfriend said is strange but their food is 10/10. It’s not something I’d eat all the time by any means because it is fatty but I truly enjoy it. Usually a late at night indulgence. They also sell cologne.“

They asked about our order as we placed one online and also offered an extra drink. They gave the status of our order without us asking and brought the order to our table individually. That said, we always ask for them well done ... otherwise, they come out a little undercooked. When they’re crisp and golden, though, they’re hard to beat.

I usually skip the burgers. The company gets an F for its antibiotic use in beef, which is disappointing. They taste great, sure, but I’d feel a lot better if they used higher-quality, antibiotic-free meat. It’s 2025, this should be standard by now.

On the bright side, the staff here is consistently friendly, and the manager goes out of their way to be helpful. You can tell they treat their team well. There’s noticeably less turnover compared to other fast-casual places.“

“Today was the first time I’ve ever had a bad experience at this CFA, I ordered a Kids Meal, Small Soup, bag of Ice and another drink. It took 1/2 hour for me to get my food. “It’s OK the food is pretty decent. The customer service they can kind of work on some things but it’s just like any other fast food place. They do the best that they can try and get the food out. There is always leading there to sit down. It feels like to say or you can take out or you can do DoorDash grab Uber eats I believe so it’s not a bad place. I definitely would recommend it.“

“What more can I say about this establishment. I was blessed to be in the presence of the owner and daughter of this reputable Italian restaurant. When I arrived to the place, I didn't think much of it. I thought it was just another place to buy a cheesesteak. But oh no, was I caught off guard and was very surprised.

I was greeted very well by both, Mr. Vito(aka. "Bert" as everyone calls him) and his daughter. I went to the easy-to-read menu board and ordered a cheesesteak with fries. While I was waiting on my food, I started talking to Mr. Vito (who doesn't like to be called mister) and his daughter and the stories he told me were amazing.

I love the father and daughter interaction while he was telling me his story, and I love how his daughter was backing up his stories. Mr. Vito explained to me about his cooking methods and how he preps for the day, and while I was waiting on my food to be prepared, Mr. Vito showed me the way he cooks.

His daughter is a real salesman, she introduced me to her father's newest creation, "The Vegi Chicken Burger." It's made from real chicken where he pulls out all the fat and other parts of the chicken.

Anyway, I ordered the Vegi Chicken Burger and it was so good. This chicken burger is not a regular chicken patty that you get from some grocery store or food warehouse, this chicken burger is made in house and it's a perfectly thick portion of a patty.

If you need to change how you eat and want food that will not raise your blood pressure, (Vito told me that he does not add seasonings to his food but will add seasoning upon request) then I suggest you come down to Bert's Steak & Sub House, a real and authentic Italian Restaurant.“
