“I’ve visited on several different occasions, and I always pay attention to how the cooks prepare the food. There’s one cook in particular — I think his name starts with a B — who I don’t see as often anymore, but he is always so friendly and welcoming. Every time he’s the one cooking my order, the food is perfect. I actually reorder certain items because I know he’s there.

Don’t get me wrong, the other cook is okay, but there have been a few mistakes on really simple items. I mostly order online, and I will forever be a Lil Trent’s fan, but I have to be honest — the dark-skinned cook definitely deserves more hours. He really does his thing back there.“

The quesabirria with consommé was absolutely delicious—rich, juicy, and packed with authentic taste. The asada nachos were loaded and satisfying, and the buffalo wings were cooked perfectly with great flavor. Even the homemade fruit drinks were refreshing and on point! 🍹 On top of that, the service was friendly and fast, making the whole experience even better. “Stopped in right before closing for the first time on Thursday…I initially only wanted banana pudding but the CUPCAKES LOOKED TOO SCRUMPTIOUS 😆I grabbed 4…biscoff…lemon…chocolate and another one that I INHALED and forgot what it was called 😫it had a caramel delight as garnish though 🙂‍↔️ The texture and quality of these desserts are impeccable…not too sweet (just enough)and the cake melts in your mouth…I live 6 minutes from here and I look forward to trying all the flavors! “This has been my favorite halal cart in the city for some time. If you live in the city you know there are bad carts and good carts, this is one of the best. Lamb and falafel are excellent. Service is quick and it's surrounded by perfect places to sit and eat. You will not be disappointed here. He isnt open too late, it varies with weather and time of year, but get there quickly after work. 5-6 pm he is usually still there.“

I could have referred a lot of people that don't know it's there. Your tea was very good and I hope your service gets better. A vegetarian platter would be nice also.“

The food here is in a whole different league than anything you'll get at one of the cali-mex or tex-mex burrito chains (prices are about the same). The shrimp tacos combine tender & juicy shrimp with pico de gallo and a creamy/spicy sauce--tastes like it's mayo or sour cream based. The steak tacos have chopped white onions and fresh cilantro. Both come in real-deal double soft corn tortillas. Squirt some lime on everything! Enjoy a perfect lunch. But don't bother with their little salsa cups, both green & red are lackluster.“
