“We ate at three pizza places in OC and this was the best. We were recommended to eat at Manco and Manco but this place was much better. I’m a pizza snob from Brooklyn and this was done right. Real crust, crunchy, good amount of cheese. And the service and prices matched the quality. I ordered the Sicilian twice and my family ordered the broccoli white and regular slices and all were perfect. This place doesn’t have the fame as others, but it has the best pizza on the boardwalk.“

“Really good! Late afternoon meal and only had lunch food but all was super good. I consider myself a Burger officianado and the Hitzel burger was incredible. Fries had awesome seasoning. The small stromboli was huge. Staff was super friendly. We stopped there because it is a byob and a favorite brewery of mine is only 50 yards away so had some fresh brew with a great meal.“

“We are regulars here. We like eating here because it's enclosed and the food is good. Pricing is Ocean City high but reasonable. You get fairly good-sized portions for what you pay for.

My wife likes their white pizzas. I like their chicken cheesesteaks.

We highly recommend the eatery.

I've learned they also have a place on the boardwalk AC which was rated number 1 out of 6 places that were tested! “I have eaten at Jo-Ann’s many times over the years. My grandmother use to own the house right next door. I don’t eat there as much now but when I am in the area I try to stop in for some food. The owners are very nice I have talked to them many times and every time it’s a pleasure.I went in today April 17th and got myself a white pizza with broccoli. The pizza was as good as always. I think they could have put a little more broccoli on it but it was good regardless. They also do charge a 10% fee on the total of your order to help offset the rising costs. I don’t necessarily agree with this but it is posted as you walk in to let you know. I recommend Jo-Ann’s if your looking for good pizza.“

“Simply the best pie in town!!! I grew up in Absecon but don’t live there anymore. Every time I visit, I MUST order a pie from here. It’s incredible every time! Despite rising costs of pretty much everything these days, they do not skimp on ingredients here - tons of cheese, etc. The pie is simply done right with uncompromising quality.b“

“His pizza and sauce is like my grandmom’s and I told Walt when he used to be in the Somers Pt store. Everything is well made and fresh and good. He even has good sodas. I love Sicilian pizza and his is excellent. All his pizza is excellent but his white pizza is so good and I think it must cost a lot to make it, so his profit on it is tight but it could be in a restaurant with high end pizza menus. His staff is well trained and so pleasant and know their menu. Do you see how nice chick filet staff is, well Walt must have someone teach his staff like that. I see how busy his store is. Walt was always so nice to me and was extra nice to my clients from the Arc when I’d bring them in as a special occasion. He deserves to do extremely well and I hope that if he does ever retire that the people who take over can carry on his food and atmosphere.“

“Called in around 10:30 to order sandwiches to take to the beach. She said they were busy with breakfast rush but would make it at 11. We probably waited till about 11:15 or 20. I got the real deal italian with hot peppers added and it was great. They have a gluten free roll, also. Their case is full of ready made desserts and some delicious looking sandwiches, too.“

“I work down the road and eat here from time to time unfortunately the worst part about them is their food which isn't bad but probably a 3.5 out of 5. They don't use a lot of fresh ingredients and it's noticable when ordering vegetarian options. Service and atmosphere are great. Food, acceptable.“

“Well I definitely been getting my pizza here since I've lived here, which is over 30 years. I'm not sure when they opened or if they changed ownership or whatever but usually they're my go-to for regular or Sicilian pizza and definitely wings. I like their wing sauce, I usually get mild. It did seem like the wing sauce is less thick than normal, it usually has a thicker consistency and sticks to the wings, last night it didn't do that seemed thin.. The main reason you got a four out of five.“
