“Our first time there but won't be our last. The entrees were excellent. Husband had steak fajitas and said the meat was very tender. I took a taste and it was delicious. I had the pork chop with jasmin rice and it too was delicious.
My only small complaint is that there is no way of knowing this place exists. It is inside the DoubleTree hotel but there are no signs at all. If it wasn't for using Google to find a place to eat, we wouldn't have found it.
Please consider putting up some signs outside. It's got great food, which is hard to find.“

“Have lived a few miles from here for almost 20 years and regret every single one that I didn't come here. wonderful service, friendly atmosphere and DELICIOUS food. everything was fresh and flavorful! “Haven't set foot inside Docks since 2004 for no other reason than it's a little out of the way from home and I'm not much of a drinker. I've been working in the area again for about a year and wanted to find a local spot to go with some coworkers and figured since it was close, why not try Docks. I happened across a picture of one of their burgers and had to try one since having my gallbladder removed and being able to once again enjoy the occasional bacon cheeseburger. Stopped there tonight with a coworker, got the Houston Burger and let me tell you... it was incredible. Burger was well seasoned and juicy (even though I always order well done) and the bacon was top quality. The prices were fantastic and my coworker said they had one of the best Guinness draughts he's had in a long time. Definitely see it turning into a to-do after work more often.“

“This place is neat! It's also comfy, they have a small patio outside and their food is really good! We went for an event and I kept seeing people picking up pizzas. If I were local, I'd go there for pizza as well. Their bartender was very polite and didn't give me an attitude when I ordered a drink. It's hard for me to remember names, so his patience with my description was very much appreciated. Definitely recommend!“

“This is a perfect example of a tried and true local mom & pop shop serving the local community. Everyone who works here is friendly and knowledgeable. The bar area is enormous and a great place to unwind after a rough day. I even come here with my laptop and work from time to time. And the food is delicious! Sure, places like this won’t have the same vast selection as a Total Wine or Joe Canal, but the owners have always been able to order me anything I need and will even stock it regularly if it gets a following. Come support this wonderful local business, order a cocktail and some wings, and get to know the regular crew on both sides of the bar!“

“Every year we take a trip or two to come to this restaurant from Rochester NY ! One year we brought friends of 12 people and went to make reservations and they were full ! Once I told them who we were and we come every year they went above and beyond and got us a private table in the back by the street and accommodated all of us no problem ! Everyone loved it there AND one of their waiters is from where we are in NY it was great to have conversations with him ! Can’t wait to go back again . The mixed drinks as in the mojitos are my favorite! The oil for dipping is perfect !“

“Posted up in the center of the pub. Me and these two mad lads started drilling. Ice was about 4 inches and ol' Stout was struggling to breach through the ice. After a few minutes of turmoil he was finally able to break and we heard the glorious rush of the water gushing like a foutian out of the portal to the dark unknown. We stood there conquistadors above a murky gold; fish. We set our thrones upon the ice and readied our rods. Our mouths watering at the thought of the first fish. With bait and hand a glee in our hearts we awaited the first bite. But folks, as everyone knows, fishing isn't about the catch nor the side of the fish. But it's the spot and the friends we make along the way. We caught no fish, not even ol' Stout. But we had a splendid time, and like the conquistadors of old we left with nothing. Oh yea and there's uhh ... darts in the back or something.“

“The night before my wife's 50th high school reunion (North Plainfield, class of 1975), a large group of the attendees went to a pre-party at Ellery's. The pizza served here was pretty good, but it was a little greasy. Besides plain, they offered sausage and a few other styles. The restaurant also served wings and salad, which I passed on. The get together ended with a great selection of fancy cookies, where I really over-indulged.“
“My friends haven't been out since their son was born 2 months ago and this was the perfect spot to go! Played a few rounds of shuffleboard (2 pool tables as well) put some money in the juke box, no kitchen but we got pizza delivered...all around good vibes :) FYI cash only $$$“

“Was here for a soccer tournament and stumbled in from a quick search. Definitely get the wings! The food was overall great and exceeded our expectations. Drafts were cold and good as well. We came on a Tuesday evening so not busy but the bartender was also very friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend“

“Just spent St. Patrick's Day here. Live music, step dancers, amazing bag pipes, incredible food and a great price. They really shamrocked it this year. Our waiter was outstanding too!“

The staff is always welcoming, professional, and accommodating and truly understands the catering business and what it takes to throw an exceptional celebration. “On a Tuesday evening, it was quiet--giving us time and space to talk with our friends, which was our goal. On Tuesday, there is also a special deal on appetizers: buy one, get one. We enjoyed our food. We looked over the check, which was just fine, as expected, but when we handed over our credit card, whoever ran the card put a different total on the charge, which we noticed as soon as the card was returned. They fixed it, but it should not have happened. Basically, a good place for appetizers, burgers, pizzas, and simple entrees. We will go back.“

“Just had my Aunt’s 80th birthday celebration at SLS and the experience could not have been better. From the planning with Judy to the day of party execution with Jane. Even the owner Mark stopped by to check in. The room was warm, the service was impeccable and the food was excellent for all 40 guests - which is no small feat. We highly recommend Stage Left and their sister restaurant Lombardi’s. A great place to make some life long memories.“

“I like this bar a lot because it's close to where I live. Very friendly staff, clean bathrooms and good happy hour specials. 5 jumbo wings for 5 bucks. They were pretty good too. And DJ Moist absolutely kills it on Friday nights with the old school hip hop and rnb. And best of all, it's right near one of the best taco trucks in ktown. Thank you for the good times, 1933 Room.“
“I've been going to the South River Pub for many many years and I used to bartend there as well. It's my hometown bar and I love it. My mom knew the owners and i grew up with their kids and they have become like family. I particularly love karaoke night on Fridays with DJ Rob, who has become a dear friend to me over the years as well. The regulars are fun, kind and caring people and when I go there it feels like family. Like “Cheers.†They don't serve food but you can bring your own if you like. Sometimes for special events and football, Lil will make a little food buffet for the customers. It's always a fun time.“

“I recently visited the District 7 Restaurant & Bar and had an amazing experience. The BBQ chicken wings at the bar were delicious. What stood out the most was the exceptional service provided by Edei, who made the best Old Fashioned cocktails in New Jersey. Highly recommend this place for a great experience!“
