“I told the owner if he gave me extra sauce, I would leave a better review. Without the sauces, this is one of the best Arthur Treacher’s Fish and Chip’s I’ve had in many years. Clean, Fresh and cooked to order! I definitely recommend this place and hope the quality and service doesn’t change. The only thing I would ask for is a bigger serving of COLE SLAW!“

“We recently had my daughter’s soccer team lunch here on a Sunday afternoon. I spoke with the manager on duty the evening prior and it couldn’t have gone smoother. We had the whole top floor to ourselves. Service was amazing as was the food. We sometimes have issues splitting checks because the girls want to sit together away from their parents but they handled it with ease. I’m still dreaming of the delicious ice cream that was the cherry on top of a great experience.“

“I have been to the Pluckemin Inn many times and it is one of my favorites. This time I had a bit of a disappointment. As soon as we were seated, the waiter began rushing us to place our orders because there was an event going on upstairs. As far as I'm concerned, I don't care if an event is going on upstairs and the restaurant's staffing requirements are not my problem. Other than that, the experience was great.“

However, I couldn’t really tell the difference between the lemon juice I ordered and w iced water, which was a bit disappointing. Still, this is a beautiful, open, and relaxing place. “My wife and I had our wedding here a few weeks ago. We worked with Nicole throughout the entire process from touring the venue to the night of our event. Nicole was absolutely fantastic to work with. She was helpful, thorough and prompt in communication, and overall made the entire process easy and stress-free (rare when planning a wedding!).

The venue itself was perfect (we were on the Grand Ballroom side). The ceremony area outside was great because it was fully covered and sheltered from the weather. Even though it was pouring right before our ceremony, all the chairs that were set up were totally dry. The venue was able to provide a contingency in case the rain continued (which luckily it didn’t). They were proactive in preparing this and notifying us rather than us having to ask them for a rain plan, which we appreciated. The cocktail hour and reception ballroom areas were beautiful on their own and did not require much additional decoration. One thing our guests specifically highlighted on multiple occasions was that they appreciated being able to go outside and enjoy the patio area while still being able to watch and enjoy the reception program through the floor-to-ceiling windows. This is great for guests who have kids because the music can still be heard outside but at a much more comfortable level for children.

Amalia (bridal attendant) and Frank (maitre d’) were incredibly attentive and helpful on the day of the event. They made sure vendors got their questions answered, brought us food, checked in on us, and overall ensured that the event flowed well.

Overall, we highly recommend Stone House and had a very positive experience. We got numerous compliments from our guests on the venue as well.“

“This place was amazing! We came for dinner and a night of entertainment and we weren't disappointed anyway. Only two bartenders the house was packed and everyone was ordering food. The bartenders running the food and the drinks very very quickly. The glasses were never empty. We will definitely be back here!!“

“This was my first ever time at a Stewart’s Restaurant, and I can undoubtedly say that I was NOT disappointed. There are so many food items to choose from and they even offer a vegan menu. At this location specifically, the staff was very welcoming and were quick to check in on us when we needed something. I loved the root beer float and the chili hot dog, and I would definitely come here again soon.“

“We came at 6 p.m. ,put our name in and were told we had a 20 min. wait. After 20 min. I went to check and was told then that there were reservations ahead of us that had to be seated. If we had been told this we wouldn't have waited. We found this very rude and unprofessional and we will not be choosing sara janes again.“

“Stopped in by accident and discovered a goldmine. Driving home to Connecticut, I exited 287 to take a break from rush hour. Nothing like a Buffalo pizza to calm the nerves. I was greeted by a friendly host. I requested a seat at a high top in the bar area , so I could people watch and glance at the game on one of the many tvs. I had a great server , his name was Todd. He explained the menu and walked me through the various pizza selections. He not only knew the menu , he was excited discussing the food. I ordered a Buffalo Pie, it was unbelievable. I wish I saved room for dessert , because the choices seemed so delicious. Next time I’m going through town I will definitely come back“

They have a vast array of dogs to choose from. The Spain inspired Chorizo "Conquistadog" looks like another awesome choice. (I need to try it!) I love the names they all have. “I’m vegetarian and for some weird reason on Uber eats there is no option to switch patties. I called the restaurant. I talked to the guy named Adarsh. He insured my order, doesn’t get any beef patties and on the special request hey switch the patty to beyond patty. I usually do this when I go to this restaurant in person and this is the only place where I eat burgers because they’re exceptionally good. Also, their aloo tiki burger is outstanding. Whoever owns this restaurant Please, please please never change the thing about this place. You got great customer service, awesome food, and very hard-working people.
