“I was searching online for good Italian to send to my family who were gathering for lunch before my favorite Aunt Harriets funeral. Trying to do this as a surprise for my family, I was calling from Colorado not knowing true reputations. I not only found good Italian, I found fantastic and authentic! Sal's genuine care for my phone order was beyond words. I ordered trays of eggplant rollatini, chicken parmesan, lasagna, fresh vegetables and garlic knots which was fresh, hot and delivered on time. Can't say THANK YOU enough for helping me feel present with my family when I couldn't actually be present. “We were in town for a hockey tournament and found Sal’s for lunch because it was close to our hotel… what a gem. The food subs were outstanding. Large portions. My kids love the pizza by the slice. They had plenty of options for all my picky eaters. Staff was friendly and helpful. We will most definitely be back before the end of the weekend. Highly recommend!“

“Make no mistake, this is 5-star pizza. Get a few “personal” pizzas for variety: a cheese, a white, and maybe a mushroom or pepperoni - well done. Absolutely the best in Somerset area. If you stop there for lunch, their slices are quite big, you only need 1. And the chicken fingers are a MUST. We just love Amici’s. I recommend calling them directly and pick up, or ask for delivery. “Best pizza in New Jersey! I’m honestly surprised Dave Portnoy hasn’t come to rate this place a 10. Their pizza is incredibly crispy, and the ingredients are simple but high quality. They’re always making different pies throughout the day, so there’s always something fresh and delicious coming out.

The customer service is impeccable. I’m not from New Jersey, but every time I walk in, they treat me like family. They also have a great lunch special—two slices of any kind. I usually go for the vodka cheese and a pepperoni slice, and it never disappoints. Oh, and you have to try the sugar-free cream soda—it’s so good!

In addition, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays are buy one meal and get one free, (cash only) in different categories of food. Love their house salad, outstanding! Can always depend on a delicious meal there.“

I had an amazing experience at this Spanish restaurant in North Brunswick (671 George Rd). The food was fresh, full of flavor, and truly delicious! The staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Everything was perfect — from the appetizers to the main dishes. I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves great food and great service. One of the best Spanish restaurants in the area!“

“We had lunch at the new restaurant in Highland Park. We had the falafel plate which had great flavor and was very filling. My sister had a slice of pizza which she said was really good. The new place is a vast improvement over the old store in East Brunswick.“

“9/14/25 - NFL Sundays are made for pizza. So we did take out from Mancini's Pizza in East Brunswick, NJ. \n\nWe sat outside while they prepared our order --- one large Sicilian and one large pepperoni. The friendly and helpful staff even tapped on the window to let us know our order was ready. Yes, the restaurant is crowded and does a brisk business which is another good sign.\n\nThe pepperoni is a neopolitan style and a bit on the thinner side. The sauce is absolutely incredible. The cheese is clearly premium. The pie is perfectly prepared and the Italian spices are noticeable with each bite. They use thicker pepperoni slices which I really enjoyed. The big disappointment here is the slices are not very crispy and are very limp. When you pick one up, unfortunately, everything slides right off. It doesn't make it taste bad but its annoying nonetheless. \n\nThe Sicilian slice was by far my favorite. It has that fermented Sicilian crust flavor and when you add their spectacular sauce and premium cheese, it is Sicilian pizza nirvana. The crust is crispy and not dry at all. Great care is taken here paying attention to every detail of this masterpiece. \n\nThe prices here are not friendly for the budget conscious diners. But if you want quality, you have to pay for it.\n\nOverall Rating: A-“

“We had an amazing meal a few weeks ago at Luca’s! We were greeted and seated and waited on promptly. We brought our own wine in which they had no problem opening for us. The food was out of this world. Their meatball appetizer is everything you’ve heard and then some. Incredible sauce, bread service, and our meals were excellent. My partner had the octopus for an appetizer and said it was incredible. Both of our meals were amazing and served timely and piping hot. I had the chicken marsala with mushroom risotto, delicious! I waited about 10-15 minutes for a small pizza, but it wasn’t crowded or noisy. The crust was very thick and fluffy and the pizza had a great taste. Definitely a little bit more high quality than Dominos, but a similar same great taste.“
