“It’s always the little nook in the walls that have the best stuff. I seen this guy on TikTok an year ago and I live like an hour away and I said to myself if I’m ever in the area I’d stop by. I was craving pizza I looked around, the highest rated place pulled up not expecting it to be Sally Slices places bc I had honestly after all this time forgot about him being in this part of Jersey. I pull up posters and pictures of this guy everywhere and I was so excited. I got the pepperoni one with and without hot honey ( his sister was in this day I didn’t get to meet Sally but she recommended the hot honey I said I’ll try one of them with it) and the first bite was awesome. the crunch on this thing was insane. I had to make a video and share it to my fiancé. I then went 3 more times that week while working in the area and it was consistently the same perfect crunch each time and I only got hot honey after that first time. The hot honey was this added sweetness that I didn’t know I needed on my pizza. I recommend it to a couple of co workers and showed them the video of the crunch and they thought I was lying when I said it’s the crispiest thing you’ll ever bite into. they live in the area and they stopped on their lunches and after work they said it was the best pizza they ever had, probably won’t be ordering from anywhere else they said.“

“Second time here and felt the need to write a review. First of all, we were a group of 25 ladies doing our bookclub. We got kicked out of the town library without notice for no reason and were desperate for a place to continue our meeting since people had come from up to 50 minutes away. I called La Piazza and they accommodated us last minute, were so welcoming, and turned our night around. The food was amazing as always too, love their pasta with vodka sauce (added grilled chicken for some protein). I didn't order dessert, but the selection was amazing and everyone who did enjoyed! I wish we would have gotten dessert. I only got a picture of the salad and after I inhaled my meal. My kids got the chicken souvlaki dinner and I got the shrimp skewers dinner. “I usually go to tomato pies every 2 months. The store is all the way from 1912! More than a century ago! Which makes me feel like i'm in a vintage store. Outside, there is a 2 doors in the front. There is a door for dine-in and another door for order to go or pick up. I personally haven't done dine-in but I always go for to go or pick up. Whenever I go, the staff is always so sweet and are always accurate for the time left. The only thing I dislikd is the time if takes to make the pizza. The pizza was delicious and stayed pretty warm when handed to me.“

The pasta entrees were a hit and the Regolare Pizza was great (ohh.. that sauce). The service was fast and efficient. I ordered then eggplant parmigiana, which was awesome and a plentiful portion size. I liked the fact that it was not deep fried, but instead lightly battered and baked. The accompanying vegetables were all so flavorful and delicious. The complimentary bread was hot, fresh and tasty out of the oven. It's a BYOB, so that's a plus. I look forward to going back and trying some of the other entrees. Note: They charge 3% for using a credit card and will only do up to 3 credit cards per table. That created a bit of an issue with 10 people, since not everyone had cash on hand.“

It was topped with that salad dressing and, my daughter was right, it was delicious. My husband, whom we affectionately refer to as "Bob the Food Snob", had the Frutta del Mar. He always sends his food back but loved this dish. The pasta is fresh, the sauce perfectly seasoned. We ended the evening with zeppole shared for the table. It comes with Nutella. My daughter's boyfriend joked that zeppole filled with cannoli cream would be outrageously delicious. I ordered that and the Nutella. I expected the cannoli cream to be typical. It was really light. Yes, I had a taste because they were all talking about it and dessert is my thing. Brad was right, zeppole and cannoli cream is delicious. Put that on the menu! We are going back!“
