“This coffee has been one of my favorites since it opened back in 1990! I was advised once by someone that works for a larger company to check out what happens when you open up a bag of coffee from let’s say (the brand that shall not be named) versus opening up a bag of Ahrre’s. Mass produced coffee like that has an aroma that doesn’t carry more than maybe a foot and a half. Ours coffee, you can smell across the room— which is an unstable sign of small batch, roasting, and truly fresh flavor.“

“We visited the place last Saturday. The cheese bread is fresh but not really the bagels we got. We waited so long ; we found out that my daughter’s order was given to someone else but they did not care to replace it at once. When we asked about our order, that’s the time they rushed to prepare it , in less than five minutes, the sandwich was handed to us. When we were in the car since we’re already late for our next appointment, my daughter found out that the replacement was wrong. She paid for plain bagel with double eggs, bacon, and cheese but she was given with plain bagel with cheese only. They asked for our phone number but did not initiate the call. I hope they will do better in their team work.“

“Boxwood Cafe is a gem! The owner has created a high quality coffee shop and the employees are very friendly. I like to stop by for a latte and a baked good (scone, cookie, or blueberry bar) and sit outside at one of the side tables. Pre-Covid, they hosted open mic night and quiz night every month. Now Steve hosts a monthly Zoom Quiz Night and it is so much fun! A great locally owned cafe.“

“The coffees were strong and tasty. The avocado toast was well made with a nice side salad. Parking could be an issue but we went a Sunday morning and we found parking with no problem. It is inside the apartment complex but it had lots of areas to sit in. Our food and drinks came pretty quickly, even though it was busy.“

“Lucky to have this location close to home. Taking good care that shoppers are jacked and gloved. They spray the wagons. AlwAys helpful and plenty of good selections. You might have to wait in line a bit, but they do use the 6 ft distance rule. Bravo.“

Excellent coffee and options from all over the world. The only drawback in US are the pods are more expensive than in Europe.
