“Coolest coffeeshop and market! I'm obsessed with the theme of the shop. It's hard to decide what to get to drink cause they have so many amazing options. You can get a variety of coffee drinks like a cherry cola coffee soda, frozen latte, a huge selection of flavored lattes plus your cafe classics. There is a mocktail section with some non-coffee drinks too. Their market has lots of Italian imported pasta and tomatoes. They have fridges filled with a huge variety of chocolate bars. There is a great variety of non-alcoholic wines too! Their branded merchandise is awesome too! Please put your Sunday gravy graphic that's on the tote bag on a t-shirt cause I'll come back from nyc just to get that. I'll be back when I visit philly again. Highly recommend coming here for some great coffee and the vibes.
Vegetarian options: Pastries are vegetarian.
Dietary restrictions: They offer non-dairy milk. Their frozen latte is made with oatmilk. They also have decaf coffee.“

“Loved dropping in here on a Saturday. Very relaxed vibes walking in here, perfect for a relaxed meet up, coffee or quick bite. My wife and I ordered the Ume Plum Tea, Vietnamese Latte, Khang’s Special Banh Mi, Crispy Tofu Banh Mi, and Doenjang Butter Fries. The Ume Plum Tea is so unique, and their Vietnamese Latte is the best I’ve had. Their food portions are big, and will definitely leave you full. Highly recommend this place!“

“We visited Rival Bros to meet with a local professional. I hate to be critical, but I was underwhelmed. The employees basically ignored customers, even when we stepped up to the counter, as they were busy having a conversation amongst themselves. My drink was incredibly bitter and I had to add sugar to make it palatable. (I don't tend to order super sweet drinks, and I drink unsweetened coffee all the time. The iced mocha tasted like straight unsweetened cocoa powder, though, which is pretty unpleasant.) The indoor seating was all taken, so we sat outside in Passyunk Square. Clearly, they get a lot of business in their location, and I can see why, based on location.
My husband and I love small, local coffee shops. He worked for a micro roaster when we were newlyweds, and we helped some friends open their coffeehouse many years ago. We enjoy supporting these businesses and watching them succeed. I'm not sure if we just had a one-off experience, but it's not someplace I'd run back to, unfortunately. They have an amazing location and beautiful storefront, but the drinks and service were subpar. I'll probably give them a second chance at some point, though, to see if my experience was a fluke.“

“Really nice spot - in a former auto supply store. Nice reuse of a building, and becoming a neighborhood asset. Esp nice when they open up the front doors and let the breeze in, and set out a few tables for those who wish to sit outside. Coffee is good too; I only drink basic black coffee, so can't speak for the other varieties.“

“Best latte I’ve had in West Philly!
Didn’t try the pastries, but they look awesome.
Busy, but quick service.
Crowded, but with students, quietly typing away, many happy to share their table.
Love this place.“

“I lived in Seattle for almost two decades and will admit to being a bit of a coffee shop snob. The Nook hits so many of my high points. Extremely good locally roasted coffee (in-house!). Amazing baked goods. The cocoa coffee bread must be tried, but leave me a slice! Great staff. If I ever move out of the neighborhood, I'll journey to the Nook for a great cup and bite.“
“Going to a brewery at 8 in the morning to grab terrific coffee - nothing better! The atmosphere of Wirlybird welcomes you immediately. The baristas are super friendly and the coffee (specifically americanos!) are delicious. It is a great place to go to socialize especially if you have people in your group who don’t drink - options of alcohol or coffee include everyone. You can also bring in your own food or buy from the food trucks. Awesome place with awesome vibes!“

“Had the Spring Fling coffee today, IT WAS INCREDIBLE! Never have I had coffee like this. It was robust but mild, with hints of lavender, thyme and pink peppercorns. Absolutely a must have for those that go regularly. I live in NJ so sadly I won’t be here often and I’m sad about that.“

“I stopped for a quick cup of coffee and man they had a lot of options to choose from! They had a fall special going, and many of the drinks were crafted beautifully! Definitely would visit back to try all the flavors. The coffee was really good. Also, the vibe was really warm and inviting and many people were stopping for a quick bite. Didn’t get chance to order food, but definitely will onthe next visit.“

“SUPERB - great coffee, worth supporting!“
“We hired Keith and his team from Impresso Coffee to provide an espresso bar at our daughter's wedding this past July. They knocked it out of the park! Our 140 guests enjoyed hot and cold drinks that included espresso, lattes, teas, hot chocolate, cappuccino, and an affogato ice cream bar. The drinks were delicious. Keith and Mariko were so professional and easy to work with. It was the perfect ending to a wonderful wedding. Look forward to working with Keith and Mariko again!“

“This location of Passero's Coffee Roasters is really lovely!! They are located within the Wanamaker Building and offer a great selection of beverages + food items. I stopped in this weekend while on my way to the Pennsylvania Convention Center for a conference I attended, and I'm glad I did!! The staff are really kind, they made me a delicious seasonal-themed iced coffee + toasted sesame bagel. A colleague of mine & I also took their Zucchini Carrot Bread to go, which was a delicious snack for later!! This is a great little spot - I highly recommend them for a stop on your morning commute if you're in Downtown Philadelphia!“

“One word: iced Ube latte. I dream about this latte every day because no other place does it as good and tasty as Reanimator. The baristas are ALWAYS friendly, and I love the small cafe vibes the place always gives. Thanks for the great memories ??“

“Awesome little coffee shop to try! I’m usually the type to want coffee around 5pm and instead of going to the Starbucks around the corner, I ended here giving this shop a shot. I don’t regret it one bit. They had lots of food and drink options! Staff was friendly and prices are reasonable.“

“Noisy and loud, small and cramped but the coffee is good. The oat milk is inferior so I opted for Half & Half which was sour. The matchas here look weird because they don't mix it fully into the drink. The ricotta orange pastry was good but small. I will likely come again because the staff is friendly.“
