“We were alerted to a BOGO special where you can buy two subs and get one free. We ordered the roast ? with cheese ? sub included with spinach, tomato ?, cucumber ? and pickles. The other sub was a steak and chicken sandwich with provolone cheese ? and the third sub another steak and cheese. Each sub was made perfectly with seasonings. The taste was phenomenal and they delivered it within the hour as promised. Outstanding service and food quality.“

I’ve always loved this place and supported since it opened. I’m a little disappointed with an order for my family- 1 classic heavyweight and 2 classic lightweights. They seemed to have shrunk the lightweight, to half the size of the heavyweight (used to seem more like a 10” for LW vs 12” for HW)… I could be wrong as I usually get the Heavyweight for myself, but others mentioned it seemed smaller.

Regardless, the bigger issue to me is the lightweight is $9 on the menu and heavyweight is $16 (I incorrectly put $14 in original post), while the lightweights we received are barely smaller than half of the heavyweight. The HW is on top and LW on bottom in the picture I attached. Since the lightweight is half the size, then people shouldn’t be charged extra and the price should be half. Otherwise, people paying $2 more for two lightweights will feel cheated. Granted it’s only $2, but the price after add-ons and tax is already premium. Bottom line the quality of food here is great, but the point is I could have ordered two heavyweights and paid less. I will be sharing with family/friends to avoid this from happening to them… order heavyweights and share to not be over-charged when ordering lightweights“

“It's a very simple place to get a simple sandwich or something a little bit more. Concocted or even without any bread and turn it into a type of platter. Whatever you're looking for they have it here. Roast beef turkey oven roasted smoked swiss cheese provolone white. They got it all here and on. Good half 7 in or 16-in subs.“

I tried the 6 inch veggie sandwich. It came fully loaded with fresh veggies and special sauces. Each bite was filled with surprising flavours.

“This is their 2nd location, the first being in Edison, NJ. I had lived in Edison, and this sub shop was a long-time favorite with lines out the door. We were in the Franklin Park area, a 2nd location, on a weekend, a d decided to stop in. We ordered their tuna sub, which had always been a favorite of mine. It seemed that nothing had changed. It was just delicious and good as I rembered frim my teen years growing up in Edison. Prices have gone up for sure, but still reasonable and worth it. I would highly recommend coming here.“

“If you want a great, "old school" alternative to Tastees, this is the spot! I don't think they've changed the menu board since the 80s, maybe earlier. Handmade with care and attention to detail, the sandwiches are delicious and fresh. There are very few healthy beverage options, but Bai water is one and a good selection of flavors available. “Ive been staying here in Edison for like a month and have been trying to find a good cheesesteak like back home in Delaware. This place hands down has the best cheesesteaks in the area that I've found. Sesame seed roll, Cooper cheese, and of course Ribeye meat! I paired it with some fries whichwere good a good crunch but soft.“

“I went to Just Subs to place an order for a gathering involving a large number of people. I had reviewed the menu and had come up with a figure of $300.00, which by my calculations would provide enough subs, salads and sides for all involved. Probably with some left over. Joe the owner and his employee Desire questioned me about the number of people I wished to serve, and at that point told me that I was ordering too much food! Upon Joe's advice, I ordered a menu which came to a final total of $215.00! Everything was delicious, and there was some left over, just as Joe supposed there would be. Charged $7 for a bagel with egg and scallion cream cheese, an egg and cheese sandwich is listed at $3.99. They add $3 for the scallions in the cheese. The other clerk was rude to customers. “Been there twice. 1st trip they where out of bottles soda...not that big a.deal. the 2nd trip they didn't have any bread ???
Now 3rd trip. Ordered on line. Arrived at specified time only to wait another 30 min for order.
Not sure what other locations do that this one doesn't...but this one on Rt 22 always seems to be a problem.
Will be going to the other location ...it's further away...but never a delay or problem.“

“We had been to this place on our way to New York. A good subway place with enough room for customers to sit and dine. There are plenty parking as well. There was only one person to serve and the young lady was very friendly and provided a thankful service. Subway we ordered was very delicious and I would go there anytime. Since there was only one person working there, I experienced a bit of a delay. Again that happens in most Subway places away from cities. There is a clean restroom as well.“
