“Came here with a coworker and will definitely be coming back. Service was excellent! Both the ladies that helped us were extremely friendly and attentive. The food was good as well! I had the french onion soup and the hawaiian pizza. The french onion soup was ok. Not the best I've had but not the worst. The hawaiian pizza was great though! The crust was excellent and the toppings were in good portion. As for the atmosphere, I arrived when the restaurant wasn't so busy so we had our choice of seats. We chose to sit in the area with lots of windows and sunlight and the view of the lake was beautiful (despite parked cars being in the way). I would definitely be coming back with other family and friends to try some other dishes.“

“Today, I decided to finally stop in. The shop looks fabulous. What I will say is that I only sat at the counter. The young man who served us all at the counter was attentive, pleasant, and professional. I wish I had gotten his name to give him his proper respect. Order was taken coffee was poured.Rockaway Sampler seriously people this is a hearty meal. You will not finish it unless you sinning with gluttony :D A one dish meal potatoes ground beef eggs and sautéed onions. “Being an avid fan of Caribbean food especially the island food that is from Jamaica and Trinidad and also the fact that I'm a New Yorker. The stage is always set up to get the best Jamaican food. From Queens to Brooklyn and of course Manhattan many Jamaican restaurants claim to be the best and quite a few of them are true to their claim. I work in lake Hopectong area and while driving through the town of Natcong, a small town in Morris County, I saw a sign saying Mini Eagle Diner. Being a big fan of Americana it caught my interest but when I saw underneath the sign Jamaican cuisine, I had to do a double take.... an American diner with Jamaican cuisine,,????. What foodie would not stop for that proclamation alone. So I stopped and all else is a fairy tale tailored for food aficionados. This is a magical place for Jamaican cuisine and The magician's name is James. He is the king of his domain. Without any hesitation I dare to say after tasting many of his creations I have come to believe that I never had the real Jamaican food before. Don't miss out jerk pork and chicken, oxtails so lean , so decadent and all this melts in your mouth. James is a great personality to converse with too. He has stories that will get Irish boatmen attention. A homemade smoker den in the backyard of the restaurant with outdoor seating are true surprise of this tour of his castle. James calls himself a magician and so be it. You have to get out there to experience it yourself. I believe if you can guess his age right, he will award you with a sliver of his homemade rum raisin cake, made of centuries old family recipe.. don't worry if you feel stupefied thinking perhaps it's the rum, ..,.. it's definitely the spells he graciously puts on his customers and somewhat unapologetically... Long live the King.... I shall visit your court soon!!!“

“Everything about Lake House signals comfort and charm. On a recent Saturday afternoon, my sister Renee and friend Jason and I enjoyed a wonderful brunch and settled into each other’s company. And having opined about everything from the music scenes in the tri-state area to the challenge of becoming a minimalist and tons more “coffee tawk” in between, we vibed with management and were treated like FAMILY. I've visited, the food is good, drinks are really good, everything is flavored and juicy.The plenty of room and parking lot however it was full.The dinning room is so warm, full of nice dresed people, the manager and staff in general were so atentive.At the begining we were waiting for the table but quickly they assigned one, we enjoy the meal, a little bit late but delicious. Miriam was our server, she did a great job, offered a great experience in the place.Prices are affordable, portions are really good. Kids can color a book and enjoy in a table they have!The only recomendarion is to add a little bit of salt to The Margaritas, it tastes different.“
