No one wants to work New Year's Eve, they would rather be home but we are so very thankful that they were welcoming and kind. The food was excellent. “This place is excellent. I bought my friend from Japan with his family and was happy to take them to Cornbread for some authentic soul food. Needless to say my friend and his family loved the experience. They were finishing a road trip throughout the US and they thought the food at Cornbread was some of the best they had in their month long journery. The turkey wings were particularly good and I'm saying this as a person who is mostly vegetarian. Service was also excellent with attentive help and the servers were conversational and friendly with my friends and I. Bathrooms were also very clean. I wholeheartedly recommend Cornbread Montclair as a solid business and a great place for delicious Soul Food.“

Food was yummy and hot, I had the Southwest Chicken Burrito with a side of buttermilk pancakes and a hot coffee.
